  • Super stable 8.6 years ago

I apologize, but I'm not getting into an argument. I don't think there are enough changes, and you haven't even added any parts. And you may want to tone down the language. @Skua

  • Super stable 8.6 years ago

I'm flattered by the compliment, but you could've at least left an upvote and a comment before copying my plane. Reported :)

  • B-13X Torpedo Bomber 8.6 years ago

I use a combination of structural panels and thin .1 and .2 fuselage pieces @Scottydoesthings I usually start with connecting a panel to the bottom of the standard cockpit, and construct a horizontal square or diagonal rhombus shape. Then I just go from there :)

No prob @Upquark interesting wing layout. I can't download, because, you know, beta. But it looks great!

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to abandon this project @SimpleTechAndResearch your propeller just refuses to run correctly on my iPad, and the torpedo itself just won't function for me without a complete redesign

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

I'll try to design an aircraft around the torpedo, but no guarantee it'll be my best performer @SimpleTechAndResearch

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

If the propeller is always running, it disrupts the plane's stability and is very dangerous both in-flight and during launch @SimpleTechAndResearch

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

I have @SimpleTechAndResearch but that still leaves the first issue. If the torpedo were to be dropped from a bomber and work properly, the primary cockpit would have to be within the torpedo itself, which causes the airplane to be completely abandoned and unable to fire weapons or track speed and altitude after launch

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

I can't seem to figure out your torpedo @SimpleTechAndResearch first of all, it can't run independently from the plane, since it uses a conventional propeller engine, secondly, I used the VTOL controls to try to influence the propeller, but it doesn't seem to work

  • H-36 Super Bomber [12.5k Special] 8.6 years ago

It's magic ;) @Glaceon I just find them so much easier to work with, and they automatically form a hollow frame, so interiors are much easier to make. And I think structural panels look better than fuselage blocks in many cases

  • H-36 Super Bomber [12.5k Special] 8.6 years ago

    Thank you guys! :D @OldColonel @General360

I rationed the work out over the course of 6 days, so probably around 12-15 hours @SimpleTechAndResearch

  • Quality vs Quantity [A New Problem] 8.6 years ago

You must be sure to acknowledge all sides of the argument @Ilovesthecheeses2 you shouldn't go wildly supporting someone just because they typed something sad on the internet. I'm sure PlanesofOld and the Colonel have had their quarrels, but I refuse to believe that only one of them is at fault for this huge fiasco.

  • Quality vs Quantity [A New Problem] 8.6 years ago

    lol thanks @Warbrine

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

Sure I will @SimpleTechAndResearch in a few days. My next upload will be my 12.5k special, then I'll do our torpedo bomber

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

Yeah it looks great! @SimpleTechAndResearch would you like me to make a new torpedo bomber with yours?

  • DL-3 Sporting Trainer 8.6 years ago

I did a while ago, yeah. I had to make the torpedo, too @SimpleTechAndResearch TBT2 Bomber

  • CH-9 Air Support Plane 8.6 years ago

I take all of my statistics at sea level. Performance always varies by altitude, so I like to keep the controlled variable consistent. @Enderdragon907

  • leaving for a week 8.6 years ago

You've been here for more than a year. Why would you leave just because you had a minor disagreement with one user? Everyone's already basically forgotten about it.
