It would be a shame if you left for the reasons given. You are after all a Gold Member with 19.2k points to your credit. I have found that my simple Simple Planes airliner designs don't attract much attention - Jetbus A321 aside. But a Collab Build I did with one Member's Fuselage + Another's aerodynamic designs + my inputs which featured an interior ... Went bezerk!!! So I fully support Mothership with their advice below
Great to see you back. I have two fuselages designed by you posted in my downloads and all are popular. I acknowledged that they were by you of course as well as the bits which my friends at Scottishjocks added. Then got them to fly successfully as the Handley Page Hastings (two versions) and Vickers Varsity (RAF Version) :o)
SEVERELY SEVERELY UPLOADED / UPVOTED! Class 37 is my favourite type of diesel locomotive in the UK - always has been. What a fantastic version you have created here. Nice Work!
Don't forget the special low-signature paint which is used for 'stealth' aircraft. Reducing radar footprint it is not bog-standard aircraft paint or acrylic removable temporary finish.
I gave War Thunder two weeks and then lost my patience with it! Pay-to-progress was the first reason. The second was that newcomers have no real learning opportunities or chances before finding themselves in the same arenas as experts who just tear them out of the sky! Much prefer to play Wings of Glory (Ares Games) in comparison ...
Calvin ... I know you as CALVIN232 and also as a pretty sound guy. Sorry to hear of what has been going on with the design thefts and so forth - theft and copying like this DOES hurt in reality and I feel you have a right and have been right to raise it with the Community. As for somebody calling you lame ... Who are they again? Just look at their 79 points in comparison with your 2,482 to answer that one. Trolls like that are everywhere. But there's only one Calvin232. Have a nice day :o)
This is an interesting read. You may find out more about Role Playing on SP through writing this timeline - and get further requests to turn it into a Role Play. Nice Work :o)
OR Do nothing to draw attention to the fact you are there. Do not turn the light on for instance and keep an eye on what is going on a safe distance away from the window. It COULD be nothing but the key is to observe without giving them ideas that they are being watched. If you see something else which increases your anxiety do not hesitate to call 911. But at the same time remain inconspicuous so nobody knows you called the Feds.
I just hate War Thunder full stop sorry to say. Pay to progress environment and no real learning opportunities or chances for new players before they find themselves in the same arenas as experts.
@SkullsAndCrossbones This happened with the first one - what exactly is happening? This was designed on a PC by the way - may show up differently for Android / Mobile users.
I have two sizes of Avro Vulcan available in my downloads but none equipped with the bomb bay. The full size (proper) version is equipped with 2 underwing missiles. The other version is a scaled down Avro Vulcan done for fun purposes.
This is all looking very promising though I reckon the structural mods made to 28000 and 29000 (the current pair of AF1 B747-2G4Bs) will keep them in service in the Presidential role for at least another decade.
Hope you return as well. SP can be a very frustrating experience for some because of the degree of learning involved but if you don't let that get to you it becomes a whole lotta fun.
@Pilotmario Major Charlie Brown'S B-17F Flying Fortress was called 'Ye Olde Pub' and as you highlight this is now a world famous incident. The same story always rqaises the same questions with me as in what would I have had the guts to do: Preserve Life or think under order and earn that Knight's Cross. TBH I am more of a use my discretion type and this makes me feel that like Stigler I would have Preserved Life too. They did meet again some 40 years on as I remember reading about it myself. I still think you have the makings of a potentialy great writer (author) if you can handle this subject as well as you have done so far :o)
I think you have chosen to handle an extremely delicate subject in a most effective way. War itself is a trauma to have to live through and although you may not end up with PTSD something always comes back from wherever one has served in my experience and will probably be with me until the day I die. I last served actively in 1997 and in 2016 I still wake up suddenly thinking I have accidentally dozed off. Or I am heard issuing instructions to RAF / Royal Navy aircraft in my sleep - callsigns and all. Note how all this still happens TWENTY years after the Former Yugoslavia (UN Resolution 816) or Balkans War and I have never been toild I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. Great work - keep it up :o)
@livetoplay11 First read it when I was 13 years old and it scared the s* out of me. Now I am 43 and the book is still as good a read as the day I first set eyes on it. Anyway your storyline is intriguing - and leads me to think that the creation of North Africa would create grounds amidst which WW3 would start. There currently is a South Africa but not a North Africa - SA is a recognised Republic.
True ... War on this scale no longer decides whose right but who is left! Just out of interest is this Roleplay based on 'Down To A Sunless Sea' by David Graham at all? Excellent book if you can get hold of a copy :o)
I have an MD-902 Explorer which could count as a turkey - no matter what I try with this idea I cannot get it to work properly! Being from the UK I have a quick question for y'all ... Which is the more important occasion: Thanksgiving or Christmas?
Brooklands in the UK? Trust me you will get PLENTY of inspiration from the aircraft you will see there including one of the original British Concorde aircraft G-BBDG. It happens to be one of my favourite air museums in the UK too so I hope you have a fantastic time there. TRIP REPORT PLEASE - Also worth a visit not far away from there is the RAF Museum at Hendon which is my favourite UK air museum.
@Kevinairlines Dedicated to you today was the demilitarised Handley Page Hastings I (Hastings Airliner) and it is available on Simple Planes. Also dedicated of course to all other parties involved in the production of this increasingly popular replica.
The world's first cruise missile as invented by the Germans during WW2. Now no bridges between the islands are safe as one direct hit from this will destroy a bridge - haven't tried the ships yet. NICE WORK - Upvoted.
@Makcoink Thank you very much this is a great piece of advice. Hopefully other newcomers will have the chance to see this and take note not just me - THANKS AGAIN!!!
Definitely a fun idea and something SP has mastered - multiple aircraft flying. Best they are linked like this though so they don't drift into one another like some of my attempts seem to ...
@Kevinairlines Thank you very much. Glad you like this aircraft. What I need to do is hook up with Haydenthedrummer like Marie Clare and Barney did @ Scottishjocks as the fuselage designs are his originally. Turned into aircraft by them and small tweaks supplied / paint-jobs by me.
@HellFireKoder I agree with you. These forums should be politics and religion free.

@ElGatoVolador They are comfortable to fly in - I will see if I can find your version of the A321. Thanks for the Upvote too!

I CANNOT agree with this comment more - UPVOTED!
Bachmann used to make a nice model of the HO Scale Plymouth Switcher. I have one but no layout to run it on.
I have had Train Simulator since the Railworks days of 2011 / 2012. They have produced some good add-ons of late for TS2017.

Welcome to Simple Planes. Aeronautical Engineering is my degree too - I have Honours. It's a long HARD effort but worth it in the end!
@AeroEngineering Thank you very much. Only speaking the truth though :o)
Glad you don't find the rest of the SP Community lame in real life - fun bunch of folks. Thanks for the poem interesting read.

How come nobody has upvoted this post yet? The advice given in it is excellent and certainly taught me about this subject :o)

Not a bad band - from the 70s when I was born :o) :o)

@CALVIN232 Thank you very much - Enjoy!

@KingDeadshot That saves me a job - thank you very much. Wonder why? Theoretically things should fly in formation on SP ...
@KingDeadshot Barney D from Scottishjocks originally thought this up. I'll ask him how to get this to fly in formation ...

@MechWARRIOR57 May I wish the same to all those who stand to be affected. Fasten down the hatches and stay safe - we are all thinking of you.
VERY nice little aircraft. Easy and relaxing to fly and will take off / land at all airports available on Simple Planes - Upvoted.
Excuse me but your English is excellent. So is this tank as I learn how to drive it - Upvoted & greetings from England :o)
@Liyicheng OMW to have a look.
@Liyicheng So is the Boeing 757-300! This can be flown with care and does fly - thank you for the upvote too :o)

I do like naval battles and ships on the quiet so UPVOTED for this amazing rendition of the Intrepid Class.
Absolutely WONDERFUL creation here - UPVOTED. The level of detail is amazing and I am sure those are F-35B aircraft on the deck.
Yes please as I am a new follower of yours and very much like your creations so far.
Fantastic idea and drawing - UPVOTED as IMHO if you drew that you have real talent!
