I like it. Many of the old ww1 planes were famously difficult to fly. The Sopwith Camel was known to kill it's pilots or make them aces. During ww1 413, pilots were lost in combat, 385 in non-combat situations.
Checked over plane. I can verify it very slowly rolls left. I did not see any construction or balance problems to cause it. It can be resolved by adding a gyro and setting to 5% speed and leave all other gyro settings default. This does not mess up the feel of the plane as the correction is very slight.
This looks just like a noob post that say please help plane keeps exploding or something like that where the builder wanted to add more guns, wouldn't fly and just kept adding more engines, weapons and fuel tanks until it turned into an unworkable mess. Could almost be a replica of some of the nonsense I have seen. I'm impressed. Total rubbish in my opinion, Nice job. Of course this isn't my challenge.
Going to need a bit more info the help on this one. Working on a model for RC control, like a 3 channel remote for throttle and 2 servos? or simpler like a 2 channel with engine rpm and steering? Building something to fly in simple planes or working on a mockup in simple planes to make an IRL RC plane? Also you looking at digital proportional control or something simpler like on and off?
It's not a bad start. Made some tweaks to it to fix the tailspin problem and improve turning. Center of lift on this is too far forward causing tailspin, added a weighted fuselage block to front to fix. Also added an underwing to help with stability and traction. Maxed suspension spring strength and added a second set of rotators to increase downforce on inside wheel when turning, the inside wheel kept loosing traction in turns and the car tended to flip at 400 mph in turns. Have Fun!
Fixed The tank. it's a successor so easy to find. Added extra wheels and a tied them to new motor for turning under yaw control. Removed the turning in the individual wheels so it now steers like a proper tank. Adjust the horsepower on the steering motor to make it turn slower or faster. Also added weighted fuselage blocks on bottom to lower center of gravity, a lot harder to flip now. Hope this helps!
To start your right engine is farther out than the left. Also you need to change the wings to be a lot bigger in the middle and the wing angle and wingtip twist is going to have to change to make it stable at jet speeds. It's going to take more than just adding parts to turn a lightweight low speed glider into a high speed jet bomber. Hope this helps. Have fun!
@IceCraft It can't fly sorry. the engines are controlled by pitch to provide downforce to keep you on the road. works pretty good as I was able to get expert in ground races with it.
Not technically an entry but more of a bonus plane at 93 parts. constructed the 'hellkite'. built to push the limits of a swing wing design. As it was made off of the swing strike it auto credited to here.
This looks like fun. Making an entry in the Noob category.
+1Nice to see someone else who enjoys the old jets. Colours look good too.

+1@Altaccount080 Still Time to make a bronze trophy if you want. Will check it when it's posted.

@CaptainRex123 Plane is up. Flies and looks about as terrible as possible.
Best of luck to you. Thanks for the upvote.
Count Me in. I will have an entry soon.

Gave it a test. The bombs are way too crowded and don't have enough space to freely fall. As a result the plane go boom.
@IceCraft That's comical, A different build for sure but just like the blimp I wouldn't give it much weight.
Neat little plane but it's a little odd that the left rocket pod moves with roll controls. Might want to fix that.

Nice.
That's a LOT faster than I expected. A nice surprise.

@fourglory removed hellkite post as to not cause any confusion in the challenge.
@IceCraft that's cool. I should have built it from a blank slate so it would not credit back and look like an entry. My bad.

Submitted the Swing Strike to competition at 78 parts. It's a swing wing interceptor armed and ready for combat.
It's a fun concept to play with. Built the 'attack cat' and credited you in the description.
