@Hyattorama thank you so much for the upvote and spotlight! Sorry, I'm a little busy with work right now so I might be slow to reply :). This is more a model than a real vehicle so I didn't want to use jet engines and such, and I wasn't really concerned with speed.
.
The problem may be the spin speed limit that is present in the game. Please try this mod and let me know if it works because I have some plans too :)
.
As for posting publicly, just do as you wish :) I'm not concerned with the points, and I think it isn't really your typical build so I will totally inderstand if it will be unlisted. Just share the link with me please! Oh, and btw, your planes are so cool!
@Chancey21 The direction is already preset by slight turn of the rotor, and usually it is enough. The problem occurs when the start location is custom and the vehicle is not fully horizontal or even moving - then the rotor might decline. Additional weight might help! And I think I know one more situation where it may help :). So thank you for the idea! And for the upvote of course! Much appreciated :)
@CptJacobson yeah, unfortunately the motor cannot spin faster, but I think it might be possible to tweak gears to increase the resulting speed of the vehicle. For now the speed wasn't my main goal. Oh, and thank you for the upvote!
@ChisP I was experimenting with "overdrive" gear when I was making my "real cars", but it didn't work. I don't know exactly why, but now when I think about it I guess it could be because there is a limit to how fast things can spin in this game. There is also a mod that cancels this limit, so you know what, I think I'll give it a try one more time :). Thanks!
You did a really great job with these! Just how you came up with this design? And yeah, I also saw that april fools joke while searching for something similar a few days ago :)
Can I give you a little advice? Please do not use these building blocks, they are ugly and not adjustable at all. Get used to fuselage blocks instead.
@Irobert55 I think you're judging too harshly. The author never said it was the most accurate replica. Though I agree that it could be way better. Deserves an upvote nevertheless.
@Fighterpilot91 btw you can remove pistons and replace them with 1 length fuselage parts or anything else you wish. It will work as long as there is proper distance between magnets and the rotor.
@Supernovaboss504 haha, thank you! :) I just came up with the idea, and surprisingly it worked
@EliteArsenals24 :) Thank you for the upvote!

+1This is so cool!
Looks really promising! Keep refining it. If you find the way to get rid of activation groups it would be awesome!
@Fighterpilot91 let me know if you have any other requests in the future, I will be able to help you. Just tag me in the post
Not sure if you still need it, but it's possible and easy to do, you just need to put "Activate4" in Input section of the engine properties.
@Fighterpilot91 sounds very interesting, can't wait to see it!

@randomusername I think it worked for me occasionally, but anyway, I don't think it's a problem as long as it works on high. Thanks for checking out!
