@MechWARRIOR57 it's usually fine because it's not moving. It may be laggy though. I do have a lo-res one that's 1/4 the pixels (5x35 instead of 10x70) here.
@MechWARRIOR57 I xml'd the blink program. With a little magic, some scripts, a spreadsheet and Command-F, it takes 10-20 minutes depending on whether or not I screw it up the first (or second/third/etc) time I do it.
@BlueCobraCreations whoops, my bad, I'm not an engineer but my point still stands. Interesting fact, you learn something every day.
Anyway, SimplePlanes is good at moving things by the laws of physics, but bad at making the moving things realistic. It depends on how accurate you need to be.
@evoevry the way the blocks snap together is very non-realistic. I'm no engineer but I can tell you there's not a rivet in sight in SP. That's usually the point of failure.
Look, no one really cares. Seriously, no one cares what your platform is. You may be limited on mods/islands/whatever but it's not difficult to make things people like on any platform. Originality is one. Making the best version of something is another.
The physics seems pretty good in this game, but I don't think it's technical enough - how are you going to show the plane design you demonstrate is similar structurally to the planes that we use in real life?

This is crazy stuff.
Building off the two digit display - do you think it would be possible to correlate it to an input? (like showing %throttle or %VTOL or similar)
1 could be good but would have to be accessible to mods for monitoring. Also needs to be closable.
3 would probably lead to a lot of drama. "Why'd you stop following me???????????? I Block u now."
@DandruffCat well technically the propellors do induce the game code to move all the parts - I would consider that "thrust." Don't stress it. Cool experiment though. Wouldn't have thought of it.
Mobile devices of any kind are allowed by the site to download creations of under 600 parts. As for your own designs, lights take more resources than blocks and a crash (explosion) may crash the app. A phone like that, with 1.5GB of RAM, you're looking at about 400 as the highest partcount with optimal performance, but YMMV.
@CaesiciusPlanes always glad to have a new follower. The Heep operation always has been and remains a solo operation, but if you want to contribute there's a few ways:
- modify cars that I have posted (I don't mind as long as it's neither offensive to anyone nor breaks any site rules)
- suggest designs, features, etc.
@longhungerplays not the place to ask jelly about anything.
Last I heard jelly does not play SimplePlanes anymore, but we in the community always welcome new users!
@Aarons123 explosions? Cameras that fly really fast?

@MechWARRIOR57 700 lights, 1 fuselage to hold them together.
@arcues glad you like it
@MechWARRIOR57 haha no worries i have plenty of requests.

Got a request?
@arcues posted
@arcues
@arcues ok! you're 1st on the list.
@arcues sounds good. I did an image search, I found:
DOWNTOWN
RAPID
And
SDSU
RAPID
Do you want it to cycle between those two?
@Patrick20206 2 messages only
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Ok fine, but that's only 1 message?
@ACMECo1940 hey again
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation lol no
@arcues sorry is that a request?
What would you like the 2 messages to be?

@1997toyotasupra so that's a "no"?
@1997toyotasupra @FireNut58 should I do that? Or would one of you like to have that honor?
I did get a request for a datsun 2000 a while back, and I uploaded the half-finished bit. Would you be interested in finishing that? it's here
Excellent!
A suggestion - put the engine control on "pitch." Then you can go in reverse.
This is crazy stuff.

Iiiiiiiinteresting!
You've got a new follower here!
@InfinityOfficial please (as at the top of the description) download the successor to this post, which should be OK on an iPad Air 2.
@UnknownNate awesome!
So your forum title has a typo - maybe it's best to take this down and repost with the correct number in the title? (it's really misleading!)

Maybe what you mean is "they don't actually move air"?
Good job except for 2 points
the 7+ has a dual camera
the flash is closer to the center than the cameras
@destroyerP it is. I had to rework the exterior panels to get the paint job to work, though.
@MrSilverWolf thank you!
Friendly suggestion: add some signage to the interchanges. I got lost and while distracted went over a guard rail and plunged to my certain death.
Thanks, I love this already and I have only attempted the interchange once!
Nice POC. Have you made anything with it yet?
@AircroftDesigin not at all. If you wouldn't mind, you could credit me in the description and tag me on it when you post your creation?
You should try hover wheels.
Best bet is to shoot while you're taking off, while travelling at about 800mph slower than the liftoff speed of the craft. You'll catch it.

Would you sell your iPad? That'll boost your budget.

@AndrewGarrison are part scales allowed for aesthetics like lights allowed?
@Crdguy maybe...care to link your tiny jet?
Hello, @Amazingcraft!
Jelly no longer plays SimplePlanes to my knowledge, and even if he does this is not the place to communicate to him.
I extend my warmest welcomes from the community.
@frostbite haha!
Very impressed. Keep it up!
Scary real.
Or is that real scary?
