So this one is finished and I'm waiting to see what people think, I've had a go with the others and think the gunboat is pretty good and the seastork is an excellent concept.
The description is worth 5stars, the plane well..... perhaps not, it's all to happy to dig it's tips in and flip but wouldn't take a lot to make better. It's fast flies ok and assuming you can land without drowning all aboard.
Simple floaty and you can control it. I would have given the vtol nozzles an isolator so you didn't end up slowing as you turn the guns but otherwise I like it.
Spins out of control at about 70mph, can I suggest you add a keel in order to get the boat to run straight not that I have tried to make a speedboat before.
Doesn't seem anyone else is going to enter so look forward to your next challenge, if you would care to give the Draken some stars I would be grateful.
With the very limited parts bin and a rough limit of 300 bits to keep mobile friendly we would be in a poor state without modded parts so I support their creativity and will use them unless the requirements state not too.
Didn't want to stack lots of Vipers missiles on board as they seemed a little wobbly when I fitted them to start with so hope he doesn't mind that I have fitted them to a normal missile detachment and only used two. I worked on the bigger ones being radar guided medium range missiles, the Yellow ones they are Vipers, the blue wingtip mounted missiles are what I would consider short range heat seakers.
Lovely job, like the swing wing with swing ordinance. Can you show us how you get the tailplane to move as an All Flying Jobbie, something I haven't figured out yet without making something massively wide.
@WalrusAircraft some 0.1x0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5s would be handy for missiles, I know you said that the 0.1s would be thinner than the joint parts, but still potentially useful.
@ETheGodly still waiting on @WalrusAircraft to shrink me some nose cones for missiles, I've just been having a play using this as a missile platform using his SAM's, trouble is mounting them.
@KingDeadshot, I've blown the back end out before but she still flies like that. Level bombing and less than 400mph you shouldn't have a problem providing you let the doors have a moment or three to open first (6) before releasing the bombs (5).
So last time I said it was too slow, now it's too brittle, I pulled a turn at about 6000ft and the main wing section went bye bye. Good news is it fly quite well missing 70% of one wing!
What a great game you've invented, just a shame Jundoo doesn't show the damage you inflict, I've had three goes and am pretty sure I would have put her in dry dock for the rest of the year.
Trouble is that under acceleration all she wants to do is nose up and up, I personally wouldn't want to fly in something you have zero control of for the first five minutes of a flight. I've uploaded a version that retains a similar wing but offers alternative control surfaces that don't get ripped off even at mach 3+ at 500ft.
So I had a look, dropped the wing one block so that the floats hit the water before the prop, rotated rear and added gear to the front of the floats and then inverted the pitch setting on the main wing. After that she flys perfectly well.
Missiles are very interesting, but as they don't carry fuel I'm surprised they fly independently. Typical missile armament seems to be wing sections attached to a maximum force detacher offering a fire and forget scenario, yours are more like cruise missiles but have no control method.
Much more stable although your weak point is now the vertical stabilizer, that parts company with the aircraft at about 1200mph and then you've major trouble as she goes into a flat spin.
I like the directional controls a lot, vtol nozzles too turn and pitch get around the wings falling off at speed. The bombs I think are the reason it blows up at start up, when I unloaded them it flew quite well.
@Rohan I've come across two solutions so far you either attach the primary wings, or stabilisers using weapon pylons (deactivated of course) or you use rotators and structural wing sections for the bits that move. You can see a prime example of this in my Green JSF that's part of this challenge.
A mk7 Churchill tank.
So I can find it later
Wings don't cause drag in the game so not much to gain, big difference is in how it alters the handling dynamics.
So very pretty I'm not sure I would have given the elevators the full 30 degree up and down though.
@Jayreed01 probably, does depend on what the challenge is I'm no good as a sci-fi builder.
@Jayreed01 look forward to seeing it hope more people give it a go next time.

so who's your winners?

Good looking plane that flies well, shame the wings detach and its unarmed.

Have another 5 stars your stuff makes planes and in this case helicopters happen.
Great job recreating what has to be one of the oddest planes built. I recall seeing pictures of one in a book as a kid 30 odd years ago.
Come on guys stick your f35's f22's etc up here.
Yep who did you pick it's a week almost since you closed this?
hope others will submit entries.
Thanks @WalrusAircraft, really ought to have a four bladed prop of similar dimensions but yours suited it so well.
Great looking plane, congratulations on breaking through 9000 points.
Congratulations.
Many thanks

Rating this so hopefully others will enter.
Fixed successor aircraft posted yesterday, just needs a repaint.
@PWNDBYPWNR fixed version linked as a successor.
Like these a lot just need a secure system to stick them on a plane right now as they wobble.....

@KingDeadshot by all means use as a successor and improve away.

So people make the effort.
Vectored thrust version loaded as a successor, would suggest 50% thrust is adequate for most flight.
Stunning looking aircraft.
Great looking plane flies well too.

It looks cool, unplayable though.
When's the judgment day?

Add lots of weight to the nose.
Contra rotating main rotors are the way to make this fly.

@Rohan I excel at ripping planes apart, low fast and high G loads, don't have a physics settings option so assume it's on normal/high.
