So two revisions both work to a fashion, I'm not 100% happy with either but think we are at a dead end with this aircraft the wing design doesn't offer a lot of scope for control surfaces if you plan on the wings staying put when you go fast.
So much wrong with it. Place wheels in a triangle or rectangle to stop it falling over. Add fuel as those engines suck up lots. Change at least one set of wing controls to roll. Invert wing pitch controls, fly slowwwwly or the wings rip off. I don't fancy uploading my flyable version as its hardly fantastic. Use structural wings on aircraft that you want to go fast in.
I can see that from the schematic above, I must have snapped it to the wrong bit when I refitted it after it dropped off..... Cool looking Vulcan on your planes, I'm about to play with that for a while.
The cones are useful but could do with some smaller symmetrical cones for making weapon warheads; 0.1x0.1x1 would be a good start, all the way up to 1.5x1.5x1 (WxHxL) please.
A good first effort, easy to fly, fast enough, almost unbreakable (wing separation in a power dive) even the rudder doesn't seem to help the roll rate much.
Not fast, not agile, not strong and not really suitable for an engine upgrade. Aim to reduce frontal area and the load on primary wings as well as keeping the mass and lift roughly similar in the vertical axis.
I've had a proper play with this now including loading it up with ordanance. It's incredibly close to falling out of the sky with 4 bombs and 4 rockets, think it needs more wing area as the speed is about right (low and slow) and the undercarriage needed extending to cope with carrying bombs. So great effort on the shape, performance is about right we just need to make it more forgiving to fly. See my loaded example for the less than forgiving handing traits.
@blockhaj whilst I like it I didn't want to rate it 4 or 5 as I mentioned with it struggling to beat propeller aircraft in the performance stakes when it should be capable of 600+ mph. Would be quite happy to give it 3 stars as it stands but feel you deserve more for this rather niche aircraft.
Great looking aircraft that flies well once you are off the ground. Take offs are a pain though, also wasn't the 19 capable of supersonic performance, this model seems to max out in the 600's so may be worth a tweek on the engine levels.
@The Star, what problem are you experiencing when flying this? I've just reloaded it and can't replicate anything other than standard performance. A bank stall on take off is the only problem I can see and that's overcome by 100% power take offs or lighter stick control. 900+mph performance at altitude of 15,000 and all from just 47 parts.
@Derpyempires Appologies if it crashes your game, I've downloaded this aircraft again and flown it with joy around the islands and I'm not using any high powered device.
It's hard to get down the runway with flexing parts and no rudder, alter the rudder and you can achieve take off speed then once the gears gone it's none to bad.
Was great right up to the point the wings fell off at about 700mph while pulling a couple of G. I'm going to use the engine in future builds.
Love the firepower but you shoot your own wing off.
Looks great but is unsafe breaking into bits when pulling hard manoeuvres, structural wings would help.

I like it, can even take a mild load of stores.
Yay smooth running props, saves the beasties trying to hop about as much during powerups.
Shameless repost of Walrus's Mig, it's still a cool plane but you really should give credit to its creator.

Are we after a boat or a plane?
Wings and what wings?
Great model of an iconic aeroplane, flies ok low and slow but prefers as you say to be up at 20k+

I can get it in the air (just) 45-50% power but there are several loose vtol nozzles that rip off and destroy the structure as you increase power.
Commenting so I can find this later

@TheDocHoliday apologies if the wings are incorrectly set, was working until I subbed it across.

Looks great but the tail crumbles into bits as soon as I load up :(

@WalrusAircraft thanks, credit to the original builder, all I did was fix the problems.
@Awesomeplanes excellent start, great prop, flys ok at 100% power, will give it a proper look/rating after work.

Very flyable aircraft, could perhaps do with a tweek on the power levels as it maxs out at about 400mph.
I've made a few improvements to your plane.
I like this plane a lot, great prop, wing and landing gear configuration, you are 90% of the way to making some awesome wwII fighters.
Douglas A1 Skyraider, please.

Great looking prop assemblies

Needs more engine and less fuel but otherwise a great attempt.

Nice plane at flying speeds a pig though coming into land.
Wing falls off on the runway
Nice flying example, way overpowered of course.
