@JBird well, mirage speedway is the tournament right now, so if you want this as your entry, better modify it. If it wasn't for this track, I apologize for misunderstanding. But for mirage speedway it doesn't get past the first corner when driven by AI.
@JohnnyBoythePilot sadly that's how AI behaves, I solved that by limiting the range of the steering, so the steering only works best at high speed, but can barely turn at low speed.
@JohnnyBoythePilot use downforce, also I tend to use no more than 5° of steering when it comes to AI, so the steering is smooth and has great response, in the case of my BMW, I used rotators for the steering, so I could slow down the turning rate and make it smoother when cornering, so it wouldn't lose too much speed or flip at mid corner.
@JohnnyBoythePilot try searching images of car supension and how they are built, I have direct source because I work with cars IRL., but everyone can do it, just copy the systems and adapt them to SP.
@JBird I used roll, but taking into account that AI uses 100% throttle, the torque from the engine totally defeated the steering, resulting in barely turning. gonna test again just in case ;)
set your steering between 5-10 degrees, set manual grip and tweak your car, you still have 10 days left, so make sure to put the best on your car! good luck!
some opinion for further improvement: the prop and final drive are slightly offset to the right in comparison with the flywheel, making the whole drive unit a bit unstable.
-make a bigger flywheel and keep the same final drive gear, but put more teeths, so there will be no gap between gear teeths and it will work smoother(in theory), this way the prop will have more top speed with less RPM, take into account that just two pistons at direct drive are enough to move a 194 tons submarine! imagine how much horsepower and torque this thing has!

my vehicles might not be the most op of the site, but i try to create them as realistic as possible.
I can't imagine how many hours you put onto this by just building the skeleton and setting inputs for the gyroscopes and rotators, but this really is a masterpiece of engeneering and art, I hope later you can teach us how to make these walker builds.
@CoBros2 then it needs to be faster, the time limit is 3 minutes. Give a try quitting the gyroscope, setting your wheels to 2.2 size, get a pair of vertical wings on your back and try it again.(thats the modification I did, it got around 2:16 with 400hp)
I suggest you to modify it, it can't complete the course right now, try to setup your steering between 5°- 10°, and also, add more hp, 400hp should be enough for completting the race.
@Homemadeforthepros consider she's wearing a battle-suit so that adds the 10cm height I guess. this is a breakthrough in SP, the first human to move like a human, I hope we can build our own characters in the future like he did.
ok, now this is my absolute favorite creation on this site, finally a human that actually walks OMG!(insert cringe scream). awesome detail, movement and...everything! I feel like i'm playing on an RPG, and for even more, it's on real human size! a milllion congrats to the creator!
Das ist wunderbar!

@randomusername ok
@randomusername ok, will see it later when I get home.

@Botfinder ok, thank you very much!
@JohnnyBoythePilot I'm not using any gyros, only downforce, center of gravity and grip control.
@AndrewGarrison Time for a new paintjob!
@AndrewGarrison wait, what?!
@JBird not even at 17% it turns, but ti fails to make tight turns, I suggest you to put steering on another par of wheels
yup, crashed against the first wall it saw and totally missed the first corner on the second round. make sure to test it with physics set to high!
@JBird I used roll, but taking into account that AI uses 100% throttle, the torque from the engine totally defeated the steering, resulting in barely turning. gonna test again just in case ;)
interesting car, Although I laugh half the race at how this car skips the track to hit the rings, its a very decent oponent to my bmw E30. good luck!
@JohnnyBoythePilot thats 1 second faster than my BMW, and I had to reduce the grip in order to let the car drift instead of flipping on ring 24.

welcome back mate!
cant even turn, set your steering to Roll Input if you want this thing to steer under AI control, and I suggest you no more than 5° of steering.
sorry, but this thing cant even turn, set your traction to manual and tweak your vehicle from scratch, you still have plenty of time, good luck!
What's the fastest time by now?
@Othawne no problem!...wait, did you say quickly!? I can barely put a crankshaft to work in 2 hours xdd.

me!
would a Leopard 2 engine in a stand count as decoration?
@Gestour
does the plane must have position lights or its not obligatory?
As a Fw190 A4 pilot in Warthunder, this plane feels pretty good, not as fast because of SP physics, but god plane overall, and flaps work!
nice bike! mine is a hardtail Ozono M918 with an RST Dirt 100mm suspension, almost all in white with red rims.
now that I think it, it's the second time I get to semifinals since Daredevil!
gg
gut glück und ACHTUNG PANZER!!
so strange, usually it starts at max 1 hour later, but it's now its almost 1:00pm!

@Jacobdaniel cool, long ago not seeing a truck in a tournament!
@Zipi45 cool
55 competitors, wow...this has been the lowest entry number since Motor Mirage.
@Zipi45 Twitch, but the link will be here anyways, once the tournament starts.
+4long ago since the last night tournament, its 10:56pm here.
in what ISC map will the vehicles be tested?

@CoBros2 nope, always on high physics
@CoBros2 cool, maybe AI works different on each computer xdd what's your current time?

@Mattangi I get it

@Mattangi I cry everytime i see this post, it was a beautiful car T-T.
@Caveman999 I know about it, but I simply hate the Halo, plus I already run out of part count to make it Tournament compatible with a Halo.
