@Hypnoticchicken I have two versions, I had two rotators in the tail section that I wasn't sure were legal. Go ahead and rate which ever one best fits the purpose of the challenge.
I like the launcher concept, the plane needs a little bit of a performance boost though. It has a big nose down problem. Try expanding the front wings and/or changing the airflow to increase the lift
This is a lot of fun to fly. To fix the nose down behavior, If you add some additional lift surface near the two front inlets that helps. It doesn't quite fit with the aesthetic value of this jet, so stick with the vtol "trim" and you'll be good to go
@StealthBomber I am think of basically mirroring a rotator part onto itself. so that in the space of 1 block you have two axles (one on left and right side) that you can attach something to be rotated (engines, wings, etc..) without having to go two blocks wide.
@Exumer If you could add an arresting cable to USS Tiny that would be awesome . For those times you are coming in just a little to hot to be able to stop in time
@stealthbomber any chance you could make a modded rotater part? I think it would be a good addition being able to add that to a plane without having to be to blocks wide
@hypnotoad
Do you know if anyone here as a modded rotater part? What I was thinking was a double sided rotater so you can pivot an object on either of side of the aircraft while still being only 1 block wide
Not sure if it is even possible
Thanks
@Engini yes uss tiny. I managed to do it once. I have a hard time getting lined up with the carrier for a final approach. For landing, you can throttle way down and use the vtol to pivot the wings to compensate for the lift
Thanks @ahappyape I have another version that rolls better. For the challenge it could only have 5 control surfaces. I think it used to have 10. I will tweak and post a better version for you
@ahappyape Yeah the predecessor built the "stock" going the wrong way. I wanted to see if it was able to take off like that. Go easy on it, its just a lowly shell of a jet :-)
@Hypnoticchicken thanks!

Like it as a body block!
I meant airfoil not airflow

Thanks @lowlife
Thanks @ahappyape. How many more engines would you like :)
I like the challenge
I don't think 5 stars does this justice... awesome build. Here's an added challenge, make the wings collapse for storage and open again for flight.
5 stars for details alone
Looks awesome!
Thanks @Ctracerx2
Thanks @ahappyape
@ahappyape Probably. I assume high means that parts are more fragile
@ahappyape odd I will see what's going on. I am not able to replicate the problem :-/ game glitch perhaps
Thanks @ahappyape. When did the rear stabilizer fall off for you?
How well does it fly?
Clever idea. You should add a way to rotate the wings up when not needed. Or vtol that would be awesome
Attached to a rotater and vtol to bring it up and down
What would be great is if you could angle it up to launch a jet from.
Like the idea. Is it actually long enough to land on?
Nice work. Who would win a fight between the chicken and jaws?

@ahappyape Thanks! I just downloaded your newest plane, I'll play with it here in a bit and let you know

Thanks @Nightraider
Thanks @ahappyape, and haven't you heard that all the cool kids are taking off sideways now :-D
Thanks @nasaspace101 slow and steady wins the race right :-). .. I imagine that the power to weight ratio was a little better on the real version
I will see what I can do
Thanks @Hunter77
Clever
@Engini Thanks. As a side project I will see if I can get a better landing performance. Would be cool if they added an arresting cable to the carrier
Thanks @ahappyape. It doubles as a decent glider as well. I safely landed (in the water) from 60k feet with no fuel

@ahappyape I know you like your aggressive handling :) I am working on another version that will be snappier

Let s go
If you angle it just right so that you hit the control tower then throttle up, you can send uss tiny on a wild ride :)
I need to shrink it down so I can carrier launch it.
