@MOPCKOEDNISHE
Hey, I found out a way to replicate the "roll jerk" issue in vanilla wings (the same problem that happens with variable wing)
It seems that the sudden roll movement (roll jerk) came from the CoT being behind the CoM, but in front of the tail.
CoT behind CoM creates an unstable situation, when you are not flying perfectly straight (which is almost always impossible), such a configuration would cause a turning moment on either the yaw or pitch axis. The turning moment would then be cancelled by the tail fins.
However, almost no aircraft have radially symmetric tail fins. Most notably, to allow takeoff, the vertical stablizer would be focused on top of the aircraft, and the horizontal stablizers would be offset upwards, so when the tailfins are correcting the sudden turning moment, they would convert part of the energy to the roll axis, thereby creating a roll jerk.
For example, a sudden yaw to the left would exert force on the right side of the tail (for a vertical stablizer that extends upwards), pushing the stablizer left, while yawing the plane right back to normal, it would also create a left roll moment.
I am not sure how or if this works for the Variable Wing, but maybe this worths investigation if you want to try to fix the problem.
Thank you.
regenerative pylon
A pylon that memorizes what is being attached, and will re-generate the parts attached when the plane is stopped and all AGs are off.
Variable Gun
A gun that you can choose the muzzle appearance, size, firepower, shell speed, rate of fire, burst length, reload time, shell category, sound and belt composition.
Belt composition: for example, AP, HE, Tracer. the first shot in every 3 shots will be a AP shell (that continues to travel at the same direction if the first part it hits is destroyed, the second round will be a HE (with a blast range, also customizable), and the 3rd is a tracer (with bullet trace but less damage)
Sound: For example, gun sound for different RoFs, autocannon sound, heavy cannon sound, manual loaded cannon sound, etc. Perhaps a choice of reload sounds will be good as well.
Muzzle appearance: for example, gattling gun, muzzle brake, retracts when fired, etc.
Bro I think as long as you're using iOS you won't have what I actually want...
I was asking for a gun part with adjustable power and explosion, but that would require unity modding, which is now not possible anywhere outside windows...
@EngineerOtaku I know that, just that you mixed up the name.
Ki-27(allied report name Nate)'s Japanese name would be Type 97 fighter (it does not have a name like Hayabusa, Shoki or the like).
Your plane, however, looks more like Ki-43-II or III, which is indeed called Hayabusa, and has a allied reporting name "Oscar".
@EternalDarkness And F-35 just done pedal turn w/o thrust vectoring in 2017 Paris Air show.
And ofc, the communist bloc (most notably the Chinese Communists) were quick to denounce it.
For some reason this still affects the flying performance heavily, despite I disabled all its weight and drag...
Now my plane (invisible simple wings + cosmetic Variable wing) can't fly steadily without a gyro (due to some extreme angular momentum added to the rolling axis by this)
@mikoyanster I dropped two nukes from very far away, I can only guess that either they were dropped into an aiming point too far away from the turret, or that they actually did intercept the bomb, but the blast range is big enough to still kill everything.
Doesn't look very professional.
The X-29 was intentionally made unstable, and the 40 correction per second is sincerely a FEATURE.
TBD is a death trap and easy target for jets? by the time jets existed they've phased out already. And it's the torpedo's fault (early model Mk13 torpedo is instructed to be dropped very slow and very low), not the plane.
@spefyjerbf That's exactly what I am going to try next. I am thinking that wheels not having its own suspension (right now they rely on independent shocks) could be a problem.
@AircraftoftheRedStar Just like a cup of tea, eh?
@AircraftoftheRedStar @BlackBoA
And the two of you. Looking forward to your comments!

You are being tagged because you showed interest in the previous post for this aircraft.
The title reminds me of The Ironfist on the Lanceshaft

@Destroyerz117 yeah I thought of that only after the post.
@ChisP detonated with a modded rocket that doesn't have thrust but will self-destruct (=detonate) after a given time

+8@JDog3106 Not yet my friend, I'm a bit busy recently.
If I have anything to say about what you made I'll leave a comment there.
@JDog3106 I'm the one to apologize, should've told you earlier.
Bro I think as long as you're using iOS you won't have what I actually want...
I was asking for a gun part with adjustable power and explosion, but that would require unity modding, which is now not possible anywhere outside windows...
@M4FL10 I think you can mount any kind of turret on it.... I'm currently working on my next project slowly so I might not have time for remakes.
@JDog3106 Looking forward to it, tag me when you're done
@inocone What do you mean "skin"? The paint job of this plane is hypothetical, isn't it?
Can we also have a free flight (no enemies) version?
@EngineerOtaku I know that, just that you mixed up the name.

I'm confused.... Hayabusa is Ki-43, and its Allied codename was Oscar...
@MOPCKOEDNISHE It's too late tonight (in my timezone), will try later.

any idea on how to solve this?
@mikoyanster I dropped two nukes from very far away, I can only guess that either they were dropped into an aiming point too far away from the turret, or that they actually did intercept the bomb, but the blast range is big enough to still kill everything.
@mikoyanster So you didn't just use the vanilla laser turret? because the vanilla laser is effective against any ordnance.
Just curious: Where's the laser weapon on the last mission?
+1I dropped nukes and was never intercepted... or maybe it was...?

@Mmdben Uhh, as in only the first three would be effective, or I'm not "allowed" to tag more than 3?
@aplayer this aircraft has already been posted
@Adanene They were people who asked to be tagged when I released a preview earlier.

+1@belugasub I know. I'm using a very rudimentary way to build custom wings, so they'll look... a bit off.
There are people who upvote but don't download.
+1Just because it's a good plane doesn't mean I want it.

+2@YourWife @spefyjerby in the end it was as simple as turning on all the suspensions and manual traction settings. The problem has been solved.
@YourWife I'll start with doing the suspension check, if that fails I'll upload it unlisted.
@spefyjerbf That's exactly what I am going to try next. I am thinking that wheels not having its own suspension (right now they rely on independent shocks) could be a problem.
I prefer Ferrari California, if you don't mind
@TheFantasticTyphoon Found it and killed it with my P.1107/II, thanks.
+1what? is this a hidden feature I didn't know about?
Essex-class, it looks
@Maxwing1 He means why do you have to capitalize every word.
Yo buddy, you still alive?
Yeah recently it seems to be a lot more difficult to get attention...
I've got two planes basically ignored by the community in a row so far.
