SimpleDoom is a side project of mine I have been developing on and off for over a year. Finally, it's ready for release!
-SimpleDoom is a barebones first person shooter that is inspired by Doom from 1993.
-The goal of SimpleDoom is to survive for as long as possible and eliminate as many enemies as possible
-Collect ammo throughout the map or else you will have nothing to defend yourself with
-There is no healing, so every hit counts!
Controls:
Yaw/Roll/Pitch - Rotate Camera/Move Player
Fire - Fire your weapon
Brakes/AG1 - Switch Weapons
AG7 - End Game Manually
If you get a score that beats any of the high scores seen in the below link, please DM a picture of your game-over screen and tell me your SimplePlanes username in order to make it on the High Score Table!
IMPORTANT: SimpleDoom is demanding on computer resources and may not be playable on low end hardware. Any decent gaming computer should be able to handle even the highest settings. Keep in mind that no matter how good your PC is, it will still take some time to load the game. See below for the different graphics settings you can play.

HIGHEST(40 Rays, 8 View Distance)
HIGH (Currently Selected) (40 Rays, 6 View Distance)
MEDIUM (30 Rays, 4 View Distance)
LOW (15 Rays, 4 View Distance)
LOWEST (10 Rays, 3 View Distance)

@11qazxc Hey, I'm reading your original comment 9 months later and realizing that I totally misunderstood the method you were describing for the sprites' labels. Looking back at it, I think you're right and that would certainly be better for performance. Thanks for the input and sorry for the miscommunication
