Maybe consider also; your rules are very restrictive and allow almost no creative freedom other than the most generic thing possible, which makes an otherwise fine build a felony to the challenge
In terms of utter ridiculousness this video is actually pretty well made, the cinematics aren’t half bad! That transformation is also really smooth looking, quite cool
This is really impressive, how did you do that with the text part to make the beautiful looking exhaust plume? Also I don’t think RealTime reflections are available on mobile :\
Yeah, this is not good at all. Makes part editing extremely tedious and near impossible with especially small parts, and/or parts that have weird hitboxes.
@AndrewGarrison is this intended or something?
Everything about this is just extremely impressive. That cockpit? The Warpaint/Camouflage? The visual fidelity and physical accuracy to the real thing? All of it is spectacular!
@Chancey21 dude, if you wanna whine to someone, complain to Dev. Pedro, he made it a requirement to use the Challenge Tag if you wanted your entry in the VR Challenge.
@L0RR3B0RR3 It’s an abbreviation for the game’s coding language, Funky Trees. It’s basically one of the greatest things to ever be added to the game, almost every complicated build with rotators and other gizmo parts utilizes Funky Trees at this point.
@Bryan5 heh, not only that but if you installed a magnetic field disruptor on something like an F-22 or a SU-57, it basically has the same result as this plane here; insane G-Force tolerance on both the plane and pilot’s side, along with enhanced maneuverability/agility
@X99STRIKER there’s a detacher inside the bomb, select the cockpit and use the part connections tool, you should see it. Kinda inconvenient actually, but I guess it works.
The point of a bomb whistle is purely for intimidation, just like the Jericho Sirens on the JU-87 Stuka. It’s just that much more scary to hear a high pitched whistling sound while on the battlefield, only getting closer and closer until it eventually impacts. Basically, it lets you know that you’re absolutely screwed before it even hits.
This is why SimplePlanes is unmatched by any other flight sim, look me in the eyes and tell me about a flight simulator other than SP that allows you to do this. Really cool looking, and I love the aesthetic with the old bomber visuals combined with the Starwars design, T!
@SupremeDorian I think he reaches those speeds while diving, as apparent in the final battle scene of the first movie. During level flight I imagine he’s only going 300-400mph, maybe even 500 if he’s really overworking himself. It even says on Google if you search up his top speed, and it actually does tell you; 448m/s, or roughly 1,002mph. It also begs the question of how Hiccup even stays on Toothless while he’s performing highly agile maneuvers at high speeds, let alone endure the high G-Forces that have to be acting on both of them. He’s seen to make turns at incredibly high speeds that are tighter than something like an F-16’s turn radius, so it all seems rather confusing when you realize what kind of physics have to be going on while stuff happens lol. Then again it’s just a movie, so does it really matter in the end?
@Sparky6004 I’ll have you know I’ve gotten atleast four Yellowjackets on my hand at once, and none of them stung me. They were just vibin, there’s a hive in my grandmother’s barn next to the house and I was just getting them off the ground, letting them walk onto my hand. I’ve also done this with Bald Faced Hornets, European Hornets, and Brown Hornets, and I’ve yet to be stung. My advice? Just be careful with them, and don’t give them a reason to sting you, i.e. don’t try to hurt them or provoke them. Wasps and hornets can be cute too, you just gotta see them in the right light. As for this creation here, this is really cool! I love the way the wings move, it really emulates how they fly irl
That’s actually really cool! This could possibly be a way to “dock” with other players’ creations without the usage of magnets, meaning player made aircraft carriers can now hold other players without them sliding off, same with aerial aircraft carriers and everything in between. This is awesome!
I’m actually in a DaVinci Unit in Art atm, and I saw this very tank in our notes! Very cool concept, it actually seems like something that in it’s era, could’ve been pretty effective at wreaking havoc.
See, now doesn’t this look nice? Why can’t this be a normal addition to the game, with the ability to turn them on and off via the graphics settings, it’d make the entire world of SP seem so much more alive.
@Formula350 nope, they don’t disappear after being destroyed, as long as they stay above water. If you destroy it and thrust it into the air, it won’t despawn!
@CC1010 that is actually Andrew Garrison, someone made his face in the game with fuselage blocks, and then another person made a hilarious body and arms for it. His physical presence is just too much for the TU-95 to “bear” isn’t it? wheeeeeeze
oh god not again

+2Welcome aboard matey
+2Very very cool! Also the camo looks great btw, I’d say you did a good job.
+2Interstate is one of their best songs IMO, has such a good feel to it.
+2@ledownloader123 L
+2Holy shit. If only I had this when I was making my WoTW Tripod, would’ve been a lot easier to make the head!
+2All very pretty looking!
+2Flies actually pretty good, not bad.
+2Now this is an avengers level threat!

+2Very nice first build!
+2The creative freedom that this game boasts is absolutely incredible.

+2Damn, pretty soon we’ll be able to play SimplePlanes in SimplePlanes, you gotta make a working Tetris next!
+2There is one chunghus amunghus
+2Schwalbe Egg actually kinda makes sense lol, considering schwalbe translated to swallow
+2@LotusCarsSub bruh I don’t know how to fix it

Looks kinda short and stubby, but oddly cute!
+2This is amazing lol
+2I love the cockpit design!
+2I love the calming music over complete aerial chaos lol
+2A black hoodie with the SimplePlanes logo, or something reminiscent of that would be cool!
+2Man, the Orca definitely seems like your flagship aircraft, it’s cool to see the evolution it’s gone through as you keep upgrading and improving it!

+2Simply amazing. I think FunkyTrees, apart from 1.11 and 1.8, is one of the most revolutionary things to happen to SimplePlanes.

Both of you are correct in this, but that is where the similarities end.
