God has joined the game Wow! This game is pretty cool! The graphics are beautiful, and flying around in planes makes me feel like I'm back in Heaven! Wait, what is that?! Sees this WHAT HAVE I UNLEASHED ON THIS WORLD?!?! God has left the game
This is awesome! Only you could turn a helicopter into a space age fighter! (In fact, I never would've guessed that you'd make a helicopter type vehicle in SimplePlanes!) Amazing looks, like always!
I remember seeing something a while ago that somewhat mimicked the behavior of napalm, basically all it was was a bunch of singular rockets with their thrust value set really low so they'd only drop and not really gain any additional forward momentum. Their fire rate was super high too. It essentially created a carpeted area of rocket explosions which looked sorta like a swathe of napalm flames, and kinda behaved similarly in function.
The flight model is really not great, it auto-rolls with the slightest deviation from perfect vertical pitch. Very hard to maneuver without it spinning out of control.

Aside from that, the VTOL takeoff works great, and the details are certainly an improvement I would say, nicely done. The only thing that needs work is the flight model, but otherwise everything else is good, I especially like the way the covers for the VTOL nozzles rotate in and out, that's a neat realistic feature.

Very funny with the E6 joke on the tail, hah and ha. Funny number.
This thing has a really interesting history, iirc it was supposed to be this fantastic do-it-all plane that could serve practically any Airforce combat role.
@HuskyDynamics01 yeah! They look really good, are only one part, and stack nicely. The only problem is trying to hide the big rotation node that sticks out the one side.
@Dracul0Anderson there's lots of neat structures and creatures to be found in RainWorld, I might try building an Iterator Superstructure next, or perhaps a Vulture.
So this is how I make all of my builds that are particularly enormous. I first make them at a normal size, small enough that they fit nicely in the designer. Then, I establish a scale size. Basically whatever number gives me the right size in the Fine Tuner scalar. So if I made a build that's 75ft long, but i actually want it to be 7,500ft long, I establish "100" as my scale size, which is then used for proper testing and usage of the creation once I'm done working on it at its smaller size. That's the basic and easiest way to make ridiculously large things in this game, make 'em small first, scale them up afterwards, of course not without extensive testing to make sure the build still functions as desired at its larger, intended size.
Ok so

Your control surfaces are pretty much entirely wrong, the pitch controls are inverted, the roll is set to yaw, and the yaw is set to roll. The aircraft flies fine, the controls are just wrong. If you click on the wing settings, you'll find a section that lets you change the type of control surface it utilizes. Set the primary wing control surfaces to roll, the vertical stabilizer to yaw, and the rear stabilizers to pitch, and also invert the pitch so that pulling back on the stick make the plane go up, and pushing forward makes the plane go down.

Additionally it doesn't have much fuel, and only flies for a couple minutes on max throttle. You can add more fuel traditionally using fuel tanks, or you can use overload (featured in game by default, just go to the section on the main menu that says "mods" and select overload) and modify a fuel block to have a ridiculous amount of fuel. Also make sure to set its mass scale to 0, because fuel weighs a lot.
What Drakon said. Honestly if you aren't basing your ship directly off of a real world example, then it's more fun to just make your own thing and make stuff up as you go along. I'd say what you have now is a great base, that which you can add stuff onto until it feels right.
Love the Entwicklung series of concept tanks, they're just enormous and scary looking. Likely wouldn't've been practical for their huge cost, weight, maintenance, and resource requirements, but damn the blueprints and design concepts look really cool. Would be awesome to see a functional restored E-100 thundering around in person, but I think the only complete chassis was either destroyed or melted down for its metal content.
@jluna123 if I think about it, I might add the DownPour mod lizards. So the Caramel Lizard, Strawberry Lizard, Eel Lizard, and Hurricane Lizard. Oh and I was also considering trying to make a Vulture and all its variants too, because that might be fun
Fantastic cinematic, really good quick shots and camera tracking. The split screen part showing the altimeter going ballistic alongside its respective aircraft climbing vertically was really cool, I can tell a lot of love and passion was put into this. Makes me wish I had a PC so i could download mods and achieve higher quality graphics so I could make stuff like this.
@stig27 commits die OOF
+2@sexylips35 and god loves you.
