@Dissent3R thanks for stopping by anyways, I’ve moved on from the game’s rotors as I am now making my own custom rotors. In other words, this is an old post.
@FaLLin1 thanks, that made me feel a little better, your right, a good refresh never fails, I’ll let you know when I start my Valor up again, and I think I have just the idea on how to do it.
@FaLLin1 well it’s too late for me to send you it as I deleted it, something that I’d rarely do, however I can remake it if I so need, the problem was by taking off, it would fly in weird ways, however this is probably because I got too mad and didn’t work out the problem.
This has been canceled due to its complexity, I have no clue how to make a “working” tilt rotor, so to avoid a massive headache, I’ll be making a fictional tilt rotor some other time.
@overlord5453 if you want, I recently let another player take a look at one of my builds and he believed it was a bug, but be my guest, I’ll tag you on a post
@TheMouse gotcha, I’ll link you two aircraft to compare with as I’d have to link you every one of them and I don’t want to bother you with that, thanks.
@overlord5453 well it’s too late now unfortunately, I’d have to restart that repositioning process all over again, I guess you could say I had a rage filled moment, I’ll try that process tomorrow and see how it goes
@overlord5453 I was testing to see if I could refuel my helicopters on the ship I had, I did some repositioning of the refueling drogue so it would be underneath.
And I think as soon as I removed the flight computer and added it back on my chopper, it started exploding, however it’s nothing to be concerned about as it works.
I just did some testing that was not really necessary, my goals were for it to be able to refuel a helicopter and haul it across the see, that and I wanted to to be prepared for simpleplanes 2 (if everything goes as planned).
@overlord5453 great, speaking of not being able to make everyone happy, I ran into an issue with my boat so it’ll be a long time before I even attempt to work on it again lol, worked very well until the end.
It can still be used to just land and take off though.
@overlord5453 sure I’ll be happy to take a look at it it, just post it the way you want and I’ll take a look, and about what you said on the physics, my choppers actually work on medium, if not I just rip off the rotors and post the airframe so others can build onto it, making everyone happy is a hard thing to do.
@overlord5453 unfortunately I tried this too, I don’t think simpleplanes has the ability do that kind of level of realism, so what I do to make it look like it’s flying like your average heli is I put vtol nozzles on the wing tips to, this can have ups and downs but it gives it more realistic abilities that the simpleplanes rotors don’t.
@MRFOXY09 cool, good luck! However I will be making Super stallion, which will be easier for me, I know a lot of people love the that marine helicopter.
@Babs22 I can help you with the spinning part, perks of being a fanatic of the Blackhawk and knowing how it works, you see the tail rotor’s sensitivity is something i couldn’t really stop so i highly recommend just giving it a little input (in other words, nudge) not a a whole lot, it’s especially weird when flying at higher speeds.
@Jundroo I would like the idea of lights that produce light on the ground or on the fuselage for cabin lighting or cockpit lighting like in Simplerockets 2 it’s kinda dark in the aircraft in simpleplanes at night.
This is amazing, definitely one of the greatest chinooks on this site, I’m making one right now, I'm using wing stabilizers as the rotors, any idea how to make the chinook not want to spin in circles?
This is by far the best defiant I’ve ever seen on this site, it’s the same shape as the real one, it flies twice as fast as my Blackhawk, love that realism! 10/10 for me.
@EthanPlayz above the right pilot’s seat. Its located near the window above the seat, unless it’s physically not there anymore, which makes no sense to me.
@EthanPlayz it’s not the circle, it’s the switch, the circle was supposed to point to the switch. when you click the switch, the blades will rotate as they are locked in place. If it is still exploding, make sure your physics are on “high.” Other than that, I don’t know what else it be.
This is top notch for a first time character build, I get that there will always be haters, sadly, but as a fella who also creates characters, the first time is never easy, and I stress, “never easy” well done. I’ll give you a spotlight as the quality is insanely good!
@Dissent3R I gotcha ya
@Dissent3R thanks for stopping by anyways, I’ve moved on from the game’s rotors as I am now making my own custom rotors. In other words, this is an old post.
@FaLLin1 thanks
+1@FaLLin1 okay, thanks, it’s always good do have multiple options for these things.
+1@overlord5453 okay, I’ll try it
@crazyplaness thanks anyways even if you didn’t know, appreciate it.
@FaLLin1 thanks, that made me feel a little better, your right, a good refresh never fails, I’ll let you know when I start my Valor up again, and I think I have just the idea on how to do it.

@overlord5453 I did that and i destroyed my aircraft and how it flies, sorry, maybe it’s best I just deal with it for now.
@overlord5453 interesting, I’ll keep take another look but I can’t say if I’ll be able to fix it or not
@RailfanEthan I’ll try that thanks, not sure if it will work or not.
@TheMouse gotcha, I’ll link you two aircraft to compare with as I’d have to link you every one of them and I don’t want to bother you with that, thanks.
+2@overlord5453 well it’s too late now unfortunately, I’d have to restart that repositioning process all over again, I guess you could say I had a rage filled moment, I’ll try that process tomorrow and see how it goes

@overlord5453 yes, with gyros, however the sensitivity is slower and makes the helicopter react slower to make it more realistic.
The lift makes the helicopter nose up and that helps with level flight, it’s extremely fun to fly.
@FaLLin1 thank you, will do
+1@MRFOXY09 sure thing, once I make it I will!
@FaLLin1 I kinda like it the way it is, I do in fact use blueprints, again this is my first realistic plane
+1@FaLLin1 sorry, didn’t have good angle pics
@126 you will not be forgotten my friend
+1@MRFOXY09 cool, good luck! However I will be making Super stallion, which will be easier for me, I know a lot of people love the that marine helicopter.
@MRFOXY09 sorry if it’s not exactly able to fly, maybe you or someone else can figure that out, tandem rotor helos are not my forte.
I thought it was a nice landing, in my opinion, sometimes it’s hard to tell.
+2@Babs22 I can help you with the spinning part, perks of being a fanatic of the Blackhawk and knowing how it works, you see the tail rotor’s sensitivity is something i couldn’t really stop so i highly recommend just giving it a little input (in other words, nudge) not a a whole lot, it’s especially weird when flying at higher speeds.
@Babs22 alright, since you’ve asked and I have postponed this project a little too long, I’ll make it right after a make a plane.
Saw one of these a few weeks ago, awesome aircraft.
@MRFOXY09 thank you
@Jundroo I would like the idea of lights that produce light on the ground or on the fuselage for cabin lighting or cockpit lighting like in Simplerockets 2 it’s kinda dark in the aircraft in simpleplanes at night.
@Idonteatbeef check out the new one, it’s got better information on it, this is an old version.
This is amazing, definitely one of the greatest chinooks on this site, I’m making one right now, I'm using wing stabilizers as the rotors, any idea how to make the chinook not want to spin in circles?
@FaLLin1 alright thanks, I’ll check those out!
+1@FaLLin1 understandable, the chinook is not an easy helicopter to make, I’m currently stuck on the rotors due to their complexity.
+1This was actually fun to fly, good work
Lol
@FaLLin1 perfectly fine by me!
+1This is by far the best defiant I’ve ever seen on this site, it’s the same shape as the real one, it flies twice as fast as my Blackhawk, love that realism! 10/10 for me.
+1Flies wonderfully, great helo!
+1@Pt145 many thanks friend
@EthanPlayz 😮💨 good job
@EthanPlayz well, your on your own, I’m not going to keep doing this, I gave you the instructions, I don’t know how else to explain this.
@EthanPlayz above the right pilot’s seat. Its located near the window above the seat, unless it’s physically not there anymore, which makes no sense to me.

@EthanPlayz where is what?
This is top notch, fantastic F/A-18, good work

@Randomkidnamedkeen you’re welcome, glad you figured it out 👍
