No, the bullet's mass has been increased. In my experiments with creating a gun that could destroy the bridge, I put the mass of each bullet to 1500 kg. That's essentially the weight of a very light car. That proved to be enough, but 1E+09 is overkill. @jamer57108
Features are great airplanes or intersting vehicles that are made by those who are coming up in the community. Something like this doesn't really fit the bill. @Thehtmguy
Yes, an early F-35 model can be gunned down by an advanced model of the F-16. The F-35 is not designed to be a super lightweight multirole fighter. It's designed with BVR capabilities as a result of Stealth tech and increased situational awareness/tech integration. An F-35 is far better suited for the air-ground role than the F-16 is. In real combat, the passive sensors and low RCS will more than likely allow a pilot to lock and fire on an enemy without them even knowing that something is there. In BVR, against an F-22, the F-35 is very likely to win most of the time. The only advantage the F-22 has is superior kinematics WVR. If you can say that about America's premier fighter, what can you say about the rest of the world?
First of all, it doesn't look that much like an F-22. Second, you've got your history screwed up. The F-22 has seen no air-to-air combat as of January 2016, so I'm not sure where that's coming from. The aircraft that most closely resembles your historical description is the F-15 Eagle. While the Eagle has never lost a battle in air to air combat(+100-0 KD), it has , indeed, been shot down before by AA. Even so, that plane was replaced by the F-22, which actually doesn't have a direct replacement.
Because there is a greater need to make the game more viable on Steam than there is on mobile. Also, from my understanding, working on updates for computers is simpler. They don't have to worry about the constraints of mobile devices and their comparatively weak processors. @StogiepatrickMC
We technically already have afterburners. The BFE-120s, when throttled up past 90% produce an afterburn effect. I've tested their fuel efficiency myself and gound out that they burn a little bit more than a gallon of fuel per second. If that's not good enough for you, then users like @SpiritusRaptor have managed to create their own afterburners with modded VTOL engines. It's actually quite clever and is activated by an action group.
This isn't his plane. It's just an ugly repaint of @Jshay 's Aries. You shouldn't upvotw this since it is HEAVILY frowned upon in our community. Besides, the naming sounds hella foolish @salvador3031
This idea is not in the best interest of the majority of the community and would make work harder for the Devs. It would likely slow the already sluggish production of updates. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few m8.
I was pulling hard at high speed with TV on and I started corkscrewing. I was in Fly-By view, so I didn't see exactly what happened. I saw 3 black dots separate from the aircraft, so I switched views to get a better look. Turned out I lost the entirety of my left elevator over the volcano area. Instead of abandoning the plane, I pitched down and maxed out the throttle. Once I got some speed, I pitched and rolled to keep the plane stable. Eventually I was able to get a solid approach and land at Yeager/Murphy Airport without any serious trouble. This plane is amazing
Which is why lots of guns tend to lag the game a bit? I'd imagine it requires heavy processing power to model so many bullets at the same time. Also, is the bullet caliber in mm and is the muzzle velocity in m/s or ft/s? @AndrewGarrison
Nice, but I would've liked to see a more complex braking system. I belive the real one deflects both its canards and the elevators to increase drag. The hard part of the would be getting theur nax deflections to match or approximately match each other in force exerted on the airplane. This plane was most fun to fly at low speeds. However, it seems to struggle with maneuvering at higher speeds. Great job, I loved it. Don't be fooled.
Speed indicator would theoretically be most useful for a gun shot on an enemy. However, you can adjust your own closure rate by slowing down. Estimate their speed and lead the target accordingly. You'll learn through experience.
If he does see this and read the comments, I'd like to know the units that the caliber and muzzle velocity for the guns are in in the xml. Are they in mm or inches, m/s or ft/s?

No problem. It seems great. @Misha1004
Glad to see I'm not the only one who figured out how to do this

The COM is actually slightly to the left of the centerline
As soon as I saw "Cjredwards has created a new airplane...," I knew it was gonna be great
I'm really digging that curved wing. It looks like it's ready to strike grom the front. Very well done
No problem. I think that this umis just AMAZING. It looks great. @simplemissile
You never disappoint.
...actually, I think I'll make a new one.
It's there. Just check out Spiritus Raptor's stuff. @Ahtzee
Actually, xml modding has made this possible virtually from the beginning. We've been doing this stuff for a long time.
*Who am I
Then stop landing so hard
In comparison to a high end mac or pc, yes @SimpleNerd
How so? @Isaac314
Rip off

For some reason, I don't believe you. Also, immediately trying to insult someone due to the slightest hint of suspicion is a bit childish. @Isaac314
Scrub
Does it take mustard, or ketchup?
Doesn't even look like an F-15, though
I probably can't give you a complement on your building skills that you haven't already read... So, I guess I'll go with the generic "great job"
Congrats to nathan on the baby
This is so cheap
Well darn@RocketLL
Simply amazing
You really ought to stop taking people's plane like this...

You clearly don't know what a Raptor is.

Caliber doesn't matter. I asked Andrew myself.
@Rohan
No
But can it make the Kessel run in 12 parsecs?
Thanks for answering my question. I appreciate it. @AndrewGarrison

I was sitting here wondering how there were so many parts and then I saw the cockpit. Wow

A comfortable 74 out here in the Greater Orlando area in Central Florida
That's really all you need

Define "primary fighter." Depending on how you define it, I believe that that statement is debatable@RedHawk
