@exosuit Heres the thing with using an upscaled part though. Although it will make a slightly better thumbnail, as a single color is obviously not a huge improvement, it will just become a part of the build, as you cant remove a piece after taking screenshots. Its just gonna be there on the designer monochromes and everything. Which is never good because you obviously dont want a stray huge piece of fuselage in a build that youve worked hard on to make it perfect. Its not that easy for mobile man.
So I put smooth (Activate1, 1) *
smooth (Activate1, 1) in a rotor and now it does the full input and then automatically rubberbands back to default state again, wth is happenning here?
Agree with the part about over posting in sp forums but otherwise, dude, No. Dying isnt the main issue here. The more problematic part is the spreading. You might not die from covid 19 if you have a healthy immune system, but you sure as hell will transmit the virus to some other people if you dont quarantine yourself properly. And with schools and other large gatherings of teenagers, they are bound to act tough and not abide by the health codes and make a mockery of it. Its necessary at this point to go into a lockdown if the infected reach a certain percentage of the total population of a locality. The media's insanity is 100% valid rn as its a supervirus that multiplies quickly, there is no way of saying that covid 19 wont evolve again to while in human bodies to adapt and become more harmful. Thinking "we will get through it" is a dumb way of thinking about it. Yeah we probably will, but being cautious will make sure that less people are lost in the process.
@asteroidbook345 I am not even contesting that though. I did something wrong that broke the rules and got rightfully banned for it. But my point was that it probably was targetted seeing as I was speaking against a clearly favoured user, and that doesnt seem fair, cause lets be honest here, upvoting some of your posts from other accounts doesnt deserve a 10,000 days ban and probably could've been dealt with just a warning.
@ForeverPie Yeah I think that might be the case aswell, but if this is the case its a bit "abusive"(I use this word lightly here for lack of a better word, as they were in the total right for doing this) dont you think, cause last time I checked shutting people up through straight up banning them is a bit abusive
@xiaofootball The glitch planes kinda defeated the whole purpose of a tournament redo. The first one was crashed multiple times where we used glitches for the sake of being competitive and it was extremely unfair. But then when the time came for a redo, the general idea was to avoid using glitches and do a proper and fair competition. The people that are currently being "salty" had the faster planes the first tournament and would have been able to fix the stability issues within a week. The main argument here is why should the rotors be allowed when the airbrakes arent. Cause it breaks the stream? well we can make sure that it doesnt now cause we know how to fix it now.
Just use fixed pitch at around 80% or whatever the lowest stable pitch is without a throttle governer. It reduces the spool up drastically. Manual pitch control works aswell around that same logic, just use throttle in the input of propeller pitch control in that case
@jamesPLANESii If someone wants to upload something inappropriate, they are gonna find a way. Not to mention you can pretty easily downgrade to 1.8 on mobile. Plus, the feature was there for a long time, I dont recall a case of abuse. And if even someone does abuse it, its not like they can spam it, 3 posts a day rule is there, and there are enough mods to easily take care of something like this.
@Starbound Yeah, but to achieve a total of around 1.5 in power to weight ratio the plane gets extremely heavy, cause the plane without the engine usually weighs around 800lbs. after 10000lbs of total weight it gets really tough to make it agile.
@MelucapLabs Last tournament fastest times were :46 seconds (chancey21) and 53 seconds (my aircraft) Both of us lost. It really doesnt matter about speed. Its more about the overall stability and relieablity of the design. Also, tournaments are held every month. so dont be mad if you loose this one. there is always a next one
@MelucapLabs look dude, even its a bit cheaty its still not that easy to make glitch planes, no matter if its a wing rotor or a air brake propulsion plane, they still take effort to be designed. Its not fair to exactly outright disqualify them.
@BuiltBionixInd10 @MrPorg137 Yall realise that this post was made by a gold user aswell? so you didnt invade anything, you barely joined forces.
@EpicPigster1 I ll try that. Thanks.

Nice. 2 upvotes on a month long project. Its good to be back.
@Aerofy well gotta watch the replay now I guess

+3Looks pretty good
@SnoWFLakE0s Oh, okay. Thanks a lot :D
@SnoWFLakE0s No I just wanted to know why does it loop back with a double smooth
@SnoWFLakE0s Was just messing around with it and trying to understand how it works
So I put
smooth (Activate1, 1) *
in a rotor and now it does the full input and then automatically rubberbands back to default state again, wth is happenning here?smooth (Activate1, 1)
No, but got an 8
WoW. okay. so this isnt a popular or liked idea.

2020 is gonna be an intresting season to say the least
Stay safe dude. And good luck
Enola happy noises

@asteroidbook345 Oh, okay, that makes sense.
@asteroidbook345 I dont understand why they would have gotten triggered though.

This is really cool. Well done :D
+1@Tully2001 may I ask why
@Tully2001 Its my alt account for posting smaller/unfinished/low effort builds
looks a bit squished in the x axis. Other than that, nice.

+1Low quality simp posting. Didnt laugh.
@jamesPLANESii Well then, nothing else that can be done.
Okay, so a prop at 200hp with low spool up time should look like this:
Fixed Pitch
neutral pitch : 60 - 70%
Pitch range : 100%
Though the rate of acceleration isnt good, it doesnt have a spool up time
@jamesPLANESii
@jamesPLANESii How much does the plane weigh? and is it a T1000?
@jamesPLANESii Uhhh, We did this in the last tournament, and we had around a second or less of spool up. So maybe you can just outsource the prop?
Just use fixed pitch at around 80% or whatever the lowest stable pitch is without a throttle governer. It reduces the spool up drastically. Manual pitch control works aswell around that same logic, just use throttle in the input of propeller pitch control in that case

"Pro" Sir, I still dont know how to use the VTOL engines or chopper stuff. Dont embarrass us please.
+2@jamesPLANESii pedos and morons have computers as well. Its unfair to have such a feature only for pc players.
new wheel designs and types of vehicle engines.
+1Everyone gangsta til the antilag kicks in.
+1@MelucapLabs Good luck to you cause I already lost lol.
Well done mate. you won literally every race in every tourney against me fair and square. GG
@MelucapLabs Its the same wing rotors thing.
@MelucapLabs Again, its allright to loose. Plus everyone can see the aircrafts and the races. So if someone cheats people will know

@MelucapLabs well, nothing you can do about that. 1:16 - 1:18 is the normal time
@ReignSUPREME Ah, that explains it. Nice build tho.
@MelucapLabs Whos using glitches this time around? I dont think anyone is still using airbrakes and stuff
@TrainsGreen goddamnit man, last tournament I lost to your plane in quarter finals. And now my first match is you. I am doomed.
