@Awsomur yea I love my iOS version just cause of the convenience, and it works beautifully in my iPad Pro.

I think this is a good decision, I'm happy I bought the game on iOS.

@ian8811946 Would it be possible that you could release an unfinished version? So at least people could finish it for you?

@SSGTWolf I'm not saying get a new computer, I'm saying you can upgrade your existing one quite cheaply compared to the cost of a new computer, doing this will give you much better performance.

@Cadin Does your computer have more then one drive bay? If it does I would recommend getting a 128 gb SSD and putting it in the second bay, with this you could move all your boot files onto it and games that need the extra disk speed, then you could keep files you don't access as much on the HDD. If you don't have another drive bay, many computers don't, you could remove the disk drive to put an SSD in there, but that would require some tinkering and may not be for the feint of heart. I wouldn't recommend trying to run from an SD or USB stick because of the bottleneck that the port would cause. You could try getting a low storage SSD to run from the external SATA port, I believe that would be your best option, you would have to move all SimplePlanes game files to it which may be a hassle if they are hard to locate. I would try running a program from an external drive before you buy the other SATA drive though to make sure it works. Also if your game is from steam this shouldn't have any issues, most steam games are optimized for things like this.

@SSGTWolf and@Cadin, you could most likely upgrade your current computers for less then $500 and get good performance on SimplePlanes with the graphics all the way up, even on this resource intensive map. The two most common bottlenecks in prebuilt computers are 1. Not enough ram, and 2. Slow hard drives. If you upgrade to even just 16 gb of DDR3 ram and almost any SSD you will get a much faster computer. You can upgrade these parts on almost all Windows laptops and older Mac desktops and laptops. Check with your manufacturer to see if you can. A new hard drive will close about 200 and 16 gb of ram will cost about the same. I hope this little rant about computers has helped you!

Also, just for scale, I am playing this map on the highest graphics settings on my 2012 MacBook Pro with 12 GB of ram, an Intel core i5, an integrated Intel graphics card and a SanDisk SSD.

  • Old server 7.8 years ago

@Tymberwolfman You have to get the SimplePlanes multiplayer mod on computer. Check it out in the mod tab at the top of this page.

  • Old server 7.8 years ago

@Lizarddragon android phones aren't powerful enough to use the multiplayer mod, you have asked this in multiple forms and posts, stop asking, it should be quite obvious if the developer of the mod says it wont be happening then listen to him since he is the one who created it.

That's in the game already for computer, press enter or return, which ever your computer has.

  • HELP IOS 7.8 years ago

First of all mod support will never come to iOS because it is a much more closed source system then android. Second of all there are mods for "Apple" as you keep calling them, they are avalible for the Mac line of computers. As for getting mods on the iOS devices, sorry but you would have to jailbreak your device for that. That would void your warranty as well, and their are just not enough people willing to do that to make support be a common thing. Just spend the extra $10 and get it on computer, it is much better.

@Lizarddragon I belive it is PC and Mac only because most smart phones aren't powerful enough to power a multiplayer mod of this size. Also I belive it has something to do with Wi-Fi speeds.
