The French stole our flag and rotated it 180*. So it depends on what angle you see the flag. Dutch is top to bottom Red-White-Blue and the French is left the right Blue-White-Red. @QingyuZhou
Yeah, I saw it too but it was 100 knots above speed restrictions so I think they needed the engines to steer. Like Jal 123. Lion is known for it’s bad maintenance so maybe it had an incident, wasn’t repaired properly and the dameged part got loose and destroyed the hydraulics@jamesPLANESii

I think it’s a hydrolic failure. I took a close look at the flight radar data and I think the speed and movement matches trying to turn with the engines. It modt surtenly looks like they were fighting the plane.
I’m seriously doubting between the 747 and the A380 but I think the A380 is better in the fighting aspect since it looks like a whale so enemy AA won’t shoot it down.
