New wing style looks superb, the glass looks a bit too opaque for my liking but otherwise this is a really nice build! Spotlighting while I still can lol
@MrCOPTY Thanks for all the upvotes. I’ve a few things in the pipeline with FT features so found your post on formation lights via text label very interesting … I’ll have to use that trick sometime.
@ShiroNeko Glad you like it, the updated version is done just haven’t had a chance to upload it with the 109 lol
.
They should have a couple features you may like :)
Very nice build, good job. I think you nailed the shape!
.
Also I have a suggestion for the question
“1. The effect of turning at high speed. How to counter them?”
on your bio...
.
When I was experimenting myself, I found using the CoM position section of one part in xml and putting the CoM waaayy down low, it gives the vehicle more stability when turning at high speeds. Also gives a nice tilt when turning too, hope this helps :)
Incredibile as usual, great job on the Betty, one of the best I’ve come across - and great update with the glass for the ohka of course.
. This is going on my inspiration list...
@SodiumChloride So I’ve sorted the screen shake piston issue by putting it on an activation group.
.
I am still experiencing a roll to one side though, I think it’s slightly less extreme but still hugely noticeable... any ideas?
.
Thanks again for pointing this stuff out cos I love being able to improve :)
@EpicPigster1 Thank you very much, I really appreciate that. (And thanks for the spotlight!)
.
I am stupidly pleased you love the bail out feature on the AI version cos it was a pain to make lol. You can definitely expect it on my future builds! I have the code - as I’m sure you’ve seen - listed in the description so if you can think of any improvements or want to use it yourself please do :)
.
That is genuinely really nice of you to say, I tried my best to get as many features as I could but keeping the part count down.
.
If the build stays under ~170 then I’m happy, over ~190 is (to me) verging on unacceptable as then some people may struggle running two aircraft for a dogfight. I can kinda manage three (and very rarely four) at a time on my phone and I tell you what, it’s hella fun sometimes lol.
.
I’m in total agreement in the auto roll! I didn’t know there was a fix (thanks again to @SodiumChloride) so now I am going to sort the issues out (and retrofit the others) and upload it unlisted but linked on their respective pages.
.
I am really glad you like my builds and I hope to keep ‘em coming! Hopefully living up to expectations...
.
@EpicPigster1 @SodiumChloride
Last bit: (sorry about the war and peace) but I was wondering if you have discord? If you want, and don’t feel forced to do this, but would you like to flight test some of my builds when I make them?
.
I have noticed a lot of the really polished builds have multiple flight testers and you both have some really useful feedback! Again no worries if you don’t want to :)
@SodiumChloride Thank you very much for the feedback, I really appreciate it! (First time doing all this on a plane lol)
.
I’ll definitely try and fix those issues you have mentioned as I am retrofitting my older planes with the new systems I have on this build - I didn’t know you could fix the auto roll (starting to really bug me)
.
With regards to the ‘screen shaker’ I found it only came up once in testing...
.
I suspect it was due to deactivating the guns whilst still shooting, but I think it’s an easy fix so thank you for mentioning it! :)
.
If it’s okay with yourself, I might tag you to an updated version(s) when I’m fixing it. No worries if not, you have some really good points!
@AzureCorp I have a couple of other planes in the list I wanted to do because I’ve been pretty much going “wish I had that plane to fly” and then building it lol
/
I might do it one day, if so I’ll definitely let you know! I’ll add it to the list of possibles :)
/
Thanks for the suggestion!
@ShinyGemsBro Thanks for the dogfight too, very nice flying and nice to test out my new mustang 🍻

@Pnicks15 Fair enough, either way I might end up looking at this a lot when I make a Lavochkin myself lol
+1@SavageMan I did search that. Exactly that actually, maybe I’ve gone past it, sorry. Thanks for the help and again, one hell of a build build!
