    Idk I just like bubble canopies. Provide more fov in dogfights and I think it just looks better on the p-51 @Thecatbaron

    The back of the cockpit always looks weird the d version looks way better @Thecatbaron

  • Weapons work with the ocean mod now. 4.5 years ago

    Yeah I have a prob with what I described but that might be from the ship mod. So whenever I’m using a camera on a munition and it hits the target all camera views start spinning wildly. @Jester

    No not the weird CABIN!!!

    :( I don’t like cats but that’s just sad m8. Sorry about that.

    R u talking abt the cameras spinning out of control when you use the camera on the weapon when it hits a ship target?

    Missile lol @rexzion

  • Build Request 4.5 years ago

    @rexzion yeah, one that flys into you. its target practice for an auto aim gun

  • Build Request 4.5 years ago

    @rexzion its a drone target basically. It should already spawn in the air. I already built a prototype but I'm trying to figure out a FT code for the control surfaces to steer into the players ship when the players ships is targeted

  • McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30f 4.5 years ago

    You can achieve realistic weight without crushing the wheels by setting the weight to the correct value which should be somewhere around 450k and then set the wheels mass scalar to 100 and set physics to medium

  • McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30f 4.5 years ago

    You need to match wing area without horizontal stabilizers attached and you need to fix weight and thrust. Look at the wikipedia values for the specs. Use this to help you out

    Yeah np good work @Ku

    US navy meatball indicator used on carriers and sometimes ground airports @Ku

  • PAPI system 4.5 years ago

    Why didn’t you just use the meatball layout?

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx Ah yes I didn't see them they are very small. Ive seen the 737 system with the AOA vane and pitot tube combo pretty cool.

    You should use blueprints btw the spine is not that shape irl

    Ok so should I get rid of the old rotator? @asteroidbook345

    @asteroidbook345 yeah its set to 1 degree with 10 degrees and .1 range. wdym by default settings menu

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    @ollielebananiaCFSP nice

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    Yeah I burn through 40% of your fuel in 5mins and I wasn’t on afterburner. Btw AOA is angle of attack @ollielebananiaCFSP

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    I thought the f-22 or f-35 didn’t use them I thought it was all digitized and speed was calculated via @ChiChiWerx

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    btw @ollielebananiaCFSP you low key would have gotten more points for using WarHawks Aim-9bs on here lmao

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx nvm I'm being dumb lmao of course they factor it in

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx yes I knew it varied with temp, I was assuming you omitted temp due to sp not having it but I see you've got a really nice formula there that accounts for it. I probably should have put IAS/343 bc IAS changes with altitude but it still will show inaccuracies. For most new jets though, do they still use temp to calculate it? I know that most newer planes do not have pitot tubes as they use digital gauges and temp helped alter the pressure and account for that. Do they just use formulas that factor temp in on new planes then or do they omit it?

    SP isnt kind to car builders. Its hard to do when sp car physics suck. Also its hard to get anything smooth if you're making a car@RandomUser09

  • Sukhoi T-10-10 Teaser 4.5 years ago

    They might as well have had crash test dummies fly the prototypes. Those things went up in flames a lot b4 the AOA limiter got better.

    @AWESOMENESS360 I'm making plat aircraft and you got plats making bronze aircraft. Then they get twice the points I do bc they are popular on discord

    @AWESOMENESS360 very true

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    I'm disappointed with the missiles. You can make simple AIM9s in abt 15 parts.

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    Wow, I like this a lot and i appreciate the work done on the engine and cockpit. Bu there are a few issues:
    Fuel consumption: watch out using decorative engines. If you do use them make sure you are using that engine for thrust and you are not adding an unnecessary engine that sucks fuel.
    Roll: There seems to be a problem with the roll moment on this aircraft. I'm no mirage expert but the plane yaws and rolls long after you bring it to the center.
    Afterburner: Seems to take a bit long to engage the afterburner but that's it

    Overall this was a well thought out build and I appreciate all the work you put in this :)
    P.S. how are you getting such good AOA out of this?

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx @ollielebananiaCFSP or are you simulating pitot tube pressure

  • Dassault Mirage III C 4.5 years ago

    @ollielebananiaCFSP @ChiChiWerx isn't it just TAS/343
