I also noticed you pointed out the rafale could detect the F-35 on its radar, when in reality the F-35 has only been detected (not tracked) by long band radar. The rafale like all other fighters have short band. Even if it was detected, the radar would only give a general direction of where the plane is and you could not get a track or a lock. IRST on the other hand could detect an F-35 from a side or rear aspect or even a front aspect depending on how fast the F-35 is going. Even if the IRST gets a track at long-range any radar-guided missiles would be useless because when they go mad dog they would not detect the F-35 or they would easily be duped by countermeasures. Any IR-guided missiles would only be fired within around 10 miles so any long-range track with the IRST would be useless.
You said stealth isn't important and I must disagree, not being able to get a track on a plane is very important combat point. If he can fire a missile at you from 20nm and you can only fire from 10 you are at a great disadvantage. I hope you found this information useful and if you have any further questions i would be happy to answer them for you. :)
Just as a reference point, the F-15EX is powered by two GE-110s which each produce 29000lbs of thrust the Rafale has two engine with 17000lbs of thrust. While the F-15EX is substantially heavier it still has the possibility of beating the rafale. Especially since the engines are brand new and the readings of lbs of thrust are normally much lower than the actual on newer engines
I will agree the Rafale is a very good plane and is actually one of my favorites in terms of appearance and kinematics. Also the Gripen is another favorite would be cool if you posted some of the data from the newer one. Also what model of the F-15 are you comparing because the new F-15EX has much better engines than the previous versions and could have a good chance of beating the Rafale in a few categories.
Also, you are comparing single-engine fighters to dual-engine fighters so of course, the acceleration and combat radius are going to be higher for those dual-engine fighters. Honestly in kinematics its not very fair to compare the F-35 to the Rafale. F-15 and F-18 are free game though.
One more thing the speed for the F-22 is in theory much higher because of drag. The Rafale could probably hit 2.2-2.3 but could not hit the 2.8 mark like the raptor is speculated to be able to. The raptor has an FCAS limit however because it will cause damage to the antiradiation coating above that speed so it would most likely go no faster than 2.3.
F-22 can hit mach 1.8 and is speculated to go even faster even up to mach 2.3 or even mach 2.8 there is an FCAS limit on the plane however which is speculated to limit it to mach 2.3 the US isn't very transparent with these numbers but there is a good deal of evidence to support the speculation. just something you could add :)
this might help with some of your questionsI believe the C-130J is the variant that was converted to the gunship as the -30 model i believe was made after the ac-130j was introduced
good job! something seems a bit off though maybe the tail is too large or its not long enough or maybe im just used to the j version. speeds up a little fast but its not bad at all! keep up the good work!
you realize you basically just called yourself unintelligent by asking me 4 help right? lmao
Nah srry just look at the nature of the links in ur posts and then the default pics in ur post
@RandomUser09
yessir im studying to be at least i graduated the 14th and am now a freshman aerospace engineer i get to work with spirit, cessna, bombardier, dassault, airbus, and some others. @Chancey21

Sweet!

you clearly have no idea what u r talking abt smh the Rafale has better capabilities than all 4th gen and some 5th gen fighters.
+5I really like it you should do your next video in the pre-production green aluminum
also make sure to yell backblast 😂
so did you use one of those rocket motors and make a projectile for it?
the biggest thing on the j is brand new turboprops btw @OtakuNekoToT
c-103j-30 was the one that is extended by 15ft
this might help with some of your questionsI believe the C-130J is the variant that was converted to the gunship as the -30 model i believe was made after the ac-130j was introduced
of course! @OtakuNekoToT
yes the apache is a very complex shape as well refer to some 3D models to help you
dont use nozzles just use the rotor part and turn off all the torque scalars on the main rotor
ah yes bc flashy green markings would definitely help in a combat scenario
also if you are going to make a ac-130 go ahead and make it an AC-130J Ghostrider thats the best version
+1good job! something seems a bit off though maybe the tail is too large or its not long enough or maybe im just used to the j version. speeds up a little fast but its not bad at all! keep up the good work!
I was trying to do this a while ago. Good job you figured it out!
cool!
i feel so dumb rn ahahahahhaa @rexzion
wait rlly @rexzion
i cant even panel so kudos to you
@RandomUser09 i was trying to be more humorous but ok
@RandomUser09 welp thats fun
@RandomUser09 lol im messing
you realize you basically just called yourself unintelligent by asking me 4 help right? lmao

@RandomUser09
wut lmao@RandomUser09
cool
you can get supersonic sometimes if you have 2 contra rotating props
fun.
you could launch it to an altitude but you would prob need a camera for that @ACEPILOT109
u should make the X-15 and just put a rocket motor on the back you might actually be able to get it supersonic
aight u want some calc
+2heheheheh
has sp finish all my hwk
arrested by FSB
dude when u gonna finish this
Just do what I do, slack off on building anything for months and then pop back in every now and then lol
sonic booms 😂 @XAircraftManufacturer
thats impossible 😂@XAircraftManufacturer
so the supersonic aircraft has to be quiet riiiigggggghhhhhttt
k lol @Souka
this is rlly cool
+1so probably the first page and a half of airplanes
@Souka f word yeah lmao ill start tomorrow on it im only gonna judge ones i think are actually worthy of grading
@Chancey21 yeah my college is rlly cool i gotta flex a bit lol
+2yessir im studying to be at least i graduated the 14th and am now a freshman aerospace engineer i get to work with spirit, cessna, bombardier, dassault, airbus, and some others. @Chancey21
+4kuul bro
that moment when you break an aerospace engineers mind 😃
+3you hurt me lol
hi babe @SneakySniper
