@CrimsonOnigiri Discovering lift scale let me design one of my first aircraft that can sustain over 30 degrees AOA.. which I thought was impossible in simpleplanes without the use of mods. It literally changed my (SP) life.
@CrimsonOnigiri Under the wing's specific settings, you can use liftScale. 1 is default (and will cause the setting to disappear in overload) but you can tweak the scale of lift using values between 0 and whatever the maximum number is. I haven't tried going ridiculously high.. or negative... hmmmmmm
Great aircraft! Just thought I could point out that you can make custom missiles without the use of xml by using detachers. Place a missile under the detacher and the missile body on the rear flat portion of the detacher. Then nudge the fuselage inside the missile and voila! You do actually need a bit of xml editing (Overload recommended) to make the mass of all non-missile parts, including the detacher, zero. Hope this helps! Oh, and maybe you might build the f-22 raptor? :P
Alright, I've got to ask-- is there any way I could get in touch with you to discuss tweaking flight models and fly by wire? This is just astounding and would very much appreciate some pointers.
@Formula350 Might I ask where to find the DesignerParts.xml? Assuming that's a freely accessible file. Might have a few more gems in there I'd love to get my hands on.
@V You linked the SimpleCheats list i linked in the original post. If you're updating it, I'm curious, how do you go about finding part properties? I've pored through all the possible XML files related to the game but none actually hint at any properties that affect parts.
Wow.. the flight computer on this is insane. I'd love a few pointers to learning this kind of stuff!

@V I'll get a vid when i get the chance. I might be wrong but 99% sure I just set the explosion scale to something high on an interceptor.
@V Should mention that explosionScale also works on missiles. I have an air to air nuke!
@V The hero we needed but not the one we deserved
@V How's that list comin' along?

@Formula350 Oh wow, good catch! It looks like you can assign lift force and drag force as variable outputs.. this looks epic!

Never mind, found an answer. ignitionDelay is the value, for those curious. (Forgot to refresh the page, answer is also below. Thanks!)
Ahh.. The Good ol' Cobra Mk. III. Good build! If only the ship was better in Elite Dangerous...
