  • Basic math and the corona virus 4.8 years ago

@jamesPLANESii the corona virus is not new, the outbreak however is, as i mentioned before, 15-30% of common colds are caused by a corona virus, so yes, people have survived, Like any other virus theres probobaly thousands of unique mutations so it's difficult to say for sure. That question is hard to answer because of how multi-faced it can be.

  • Basic math and the corona virus 4.8 years ago

@Axartar this is true, and i guess it is mostly targeted those who are either uneducated about it, or simply blowing it out of the water for comedic effect, aka memes. I do like your point and it I will add it to the post with your name included and also with your consent
Edit: im going to guess 75 million is an estimate of most of human history? or did you mean 75 million infections

  • My first Plane 4.8 years ago

Welcome to simple planes! Thats certainly 100 times better than my first plane. Just a suggestion, try using fuselage blocks, they can make a lot of unique shapes, theyre easier to work with, reduce part counts, etc. Once you get used to them you can make a lot of really cool stuff!

  • JP-XFI-94S Proto-1 Thunderbolt II 4.8 years ago

I dig this, i think your design is really cool, some nice fuselages to cover up the wings edges, some smoother transitions, I think this build could go so much further! of course its your choice to do so, but just my opinion, really nice job!

  • It's Been A Rough Year Already 4.8 years ago

Also to make you feel better, with calculations of the current corona virus infections and deaths, theres only around a 2-3% chance of dying, most people who have died are also an average age of 73 and have preexisting medical conditions. Compare that to the 8200 deaths and over 140,000 hospitalizations from the flu in the US. Its my point of view that a year is what you make it, you cant control what happens in the world, but you can control how you see it, either by realizing its not that bad, or perhaps you can work towards helping the problem.

Yeah life sucks, things suck, thats just things, while not exactly an excuse for the things and the suck, you just kinda gotta go with the flow.

  • Do you like smooth bodies or boxy bodies? 4.9 years ago

boxy - for trucks, hot rods, muscle cars
smooth - for racing, sport, japanese, etc.
I wouldnt say I like one more than the other because they both lend themselves towards a different style

  • Broken Plane 4.9 years ago

it looks like your front wings are too far fowards, and your tail is pretty thick which will mess with your center of gravity, if you on PC press space or find the button that has a triangle with a line on top and 3 circles, this will show you the center of mass, lift, and thrust, my guess without downloading this thing is that your center of lift is in front of your center of mass, making it highly unstable and unflyable, move the wings back and see if that helps.
