@CptJacobson in the process of. It's not going to be easy, it has a pretty large wing span, and part of it going faster is to reduce drag. It will share some components from the 86, but I'm trying to add vectorizing thrust which means the engines will help with turning, as well as forward swept wings for even more added turning ability, and maybe VTOL. Long story short, I have a lot of upgrades that I'm trying to figure out how to it into a single jet.
Fine, since your post is "Serious here folks", your CALL fleet can have a plane called an "Atlantic", or "Pacific" or some great ocean expanse the "Mediterranean Jewell" if you have to get really fancy. Your SA's can use planes named after mountains, for example "Denali" or even "Everest" and lastly for your RA's some craft named after birds, like a "Kite", or the "Fisher". At that point Google can do the rest, and yes the Dragon is coming along. Still drafting the concept and making sure the new tail doesn't come scrap the ground landing.
@Blurred Glad you like the modifications. I'm always down for helping my buddies optimize their planes. Plus it helps everyone get some well deserved up votes. If you ever want me to check a design just let me know. I know the SP community can be a little stuck up when it comes to up voting things.
Pretty sure I can fit that bill just fine, I recently been playing around with modded engines. Not a fan of modded parts, but this one will probably give Dragon and extra edge in performance.
@CptJacobson Hey no problem, I'm glad you like the upgrade. I simplified the lore as well. In the end it was just to heavy to be a VTOL aircraft, but it's plenty good at dog fighting. In AI dogfights it ran circles around the CV 2 so definitly improved the flight features.
@CptJacobson speaking of VTOL I have the CV2 coming along nicely. It's basically going to be a supped up version of the Bunker, problem is it's a heavy bird and it needs some serious power to get off the ground.
@SealionsSealionsYt No, even better, you've earned it. However if you ever go over to the "Dark Side" and build planes on the computer that's okay too.
@CptJacobson still working on the CV2 but I don't mind changing project's. I'll pick a file and start fine tuning the airframe. I'll probably start utilizing the crazy vector system I put on this thing.
@CptJacobson Just fine tuning some of the flight characteristics. I'm keeping it true to design, but I'm adding some very next gen fighter features so it'll look like a CV86 but it's going to fly like an F22.
@CptJacobson the Amazon is getting a major overhaul. I already fixed that nose diving problem, and I got a bomber I'm making which you are more than welcome to use. It's a big bird, so I need to make a new braking system.
@CptJacobson Cool, I'll change it around. I saw all the prop planes and wanted a reason for this thing to fit in. In that case I'll throw a bigger engine on it.
@CptJacobson Cool man, definitely will. The "Muzzle" is going through a complete overhaul, hope you like next gen fighters. Those ones are definitely being added to the list.
@CptJacobson Glad you like it, and definitely will check out the rest of your aircraft too. Good chance there'll be some more EAS prototypes in the future for the CV fleet.
@PlanemcPlane glad you like it. I wanted to keep the plane true to the original design, and add some extra definition to it's unique features. I brought the mass, lift, thrust, variables closer together to improve its overall balance. If you want to make a hopped up vesion using the original engines I'll let you do the honors.
Still a pretty accurate description. I might add a spring suspension, but I'm planning on making a new platform all together. This was one of those fun quick builds.
@PlanemcPlane I been playing around with the wing configuration. I know tiny forward swept wings was not the best choice for stability. I may switch back to my usual trapezoidal configuration. I was going to a high angle of attack without creating too much lift. It's in it's alpha stage so not quite there yet. The main thing was not getting it to nose dive during VTOL or spin out in normal flight, believe it or not this thing is designed to do flat spins, and VTOL in a dog fight. Thanks for the feedback though, it really helps me fine tune these things.
Well a see CALL in the future for this thing. Of course after the Dragon.

+1Pipework on the nose definitely looks good. Nice classic design.
See you got tired of World of Warships and you came back to World of Planes.
It's definitely responsive and more importantly stable.

+1I think you need more VTOL's that's how I solve all my problems 🤔
Welcome to the Simple Planes Android Community. Our planes are built by hands not mouses.

@PlanemcPlane Definitely, been playing around with vectorizing trust, I'm actually working on a new jet.
@CptJacobson Definitely, and I am always up for refitting for your planes. Consider EAS your research and development team.
Good build, good job shaping the fuselage.
@EternalDarkness because one post isn't enough to contain the awesome.

@CptJacobson Cool no problem, it's next on the list then.

Looks good to me, now the Mustang has been turnes into everything. Good work on the piping and roll cage.
@PlanemcPlane what's up, suprised someone hasn't turn this thing into a dune buggy yet.
@Saturnite It was bound to happen, I knew someone was going to slam it and put on underglow, EchoWhiskey approved.
+1@tylerdeveneuxmusic hey thanks, means a lot coming from someone who builds 1:1 scale Ferraris.
+1Still a pretty accurate description. I might add a spring suspension, but I'm planning on making a new platform all together. This was one of those fun quick builds.
@Deadly8Nightshade well considering it's based of a 93' Ford Mustang that a pretty accurate description.
@PlanemcPlane Thanks, I have a few more I'm working on right now.
+1@PlanemcPlane definitely, I saw you airliner, pretty cool stuff. I'll be sure to give some well deserve up votes.

@CptJacobson Your more than welcome to use it and modify it as you wish.
