@JediWolf working on a remake of this model and that is the plan...

  • 747-AAC with Microfighters (Outdated-2) 5.9 years ago

@JediWolf i tried working it to max but it is not strong enough to hold the plane in place. i am working on a new model... will attempt one with xml edits

@Zoomzoom999 I have tried using magnets for this but it the full 100% is not strong enough to keep the plane from falling off. Though I can fix that using XML - I wish to build the whole jig from scratch, making the plane a little more presentable and realistic

  • [CLOSED - NOSE ART CHALLENGE!!!] B-17 Flying Fortress 5.9 years ago

@Nerfenthusiast build it all up and tag me to your private upload

  • [CLOSED - NOSE ART CHALLENGE!!!] B-17 Flying Fortress 5.9 years ago

@Nerfenthusiast can help you a bit if you want. Depends on how much XML-ing you need

  • B-17 Nose Art Challenge! 5.9 years ago

@metallicplanes I suppose it was a way for them to releave stress from the war, show off some artistic liberty and let boys be boys I guess. It's a shame that you don't see Nose art in planes nowadays besides for a simple pilot name written on the side... Oh well...

  • B-17 Nose Art Challenge! 5.9 years ago

@metallicplanes - True - I suppose I meant full nudity... Will fix it...

  • Miniplane 5.9 years ago

like the shape! reminds me of the model 987 from the 747 aac project!

Bit bulky but very well done! Keep up the good work :D

  • RAH-66 Comanche with Heavy Loadout 5.9 years ago

@MTakach disablebasemesh is used in order to remove the base for the hinge or rotator without removing the functionality. Like this

  • Marksman Jet 5.9 years ago

Moves a bit too sensitively for my taste but I really like the plane's shape! Is this a personal invention or is it based on something particular?

  • Boeing 2707-200 version2.0 5.9 years ago

Gorgeous representation!!! Keep up the good work!!

  • RAH-66 Comanche with Heavy Loadout 5.9 years ago

@MTakach Awesome! Tag me when it's done! I would love to have a go at it!!

  • Mig-15bis Miniplane 5.9 years ago

Love the cuteness of your planes! Keep up the good work!
Ever considered making the SVF-07V Slug Flyer from the metal slug series? Would be awesome to see it!

  • RAH-66 Comanche with Heavy Loadout 5.9 years ago

@MTakach I did disableBaseMesh="true" in order to make it smaller and input="Activate2" in order to make it work when I press the button 2.

Here are a few interesting XML inputs you can use

  • RAH-66 Comanche with Heavy Loadout 5.9 years ago

@MTakach using xml edits, I disabled the aircraft collision for the missles and the pylons. In fact, you could shoot the internal missles without opening the bay doors. i will link you to a very good tutorial on xml editting, it opens a larger range of possibilities when you start delving into them...

may I use your calligraphy for one of my creations? credit will be given accordingly

  • A6M Zero 5.9 years ago

@metallicplanes custom wheels and shaped side logo raised the count... have a feeling that i have some parts hiding that are raising the count...

  • A6M Zero 5.9 years ago

@CCCP could you specify the inaccuracy? will be happy to change it down the line

  • Zero 5.9 years ago

You beat me to it xD

  • Piper cherokee 140 5.9 years ago

@Hedero i did not mean a full fledged cockpit, what i meant was a cockpit view without being blocked

  • Camar Fighter Mk-4 5.9 years ago

I like the plane's shape, but it falls apart on full speed for me...
I would recommend getting some XML editting done to sort the clipping issues...

Non-the-less, looks awesome! Keep up the good work!

    @CrashFighter05 Close enough xD

  • Piper cherokee 140 5.9 years ago

Nicely designed, however I personally prefer having a cockpit to view from... but that's me...

Non-the-less, great job, keep up the good work! :)

  • jak-15 5.9 years ago

@Asdgamer1111 Happens to me sometimes too. I would suggest you individually make the guns on each wing, than the adjust the X,Y,Z coordinates (if possible on android, coz I use windows)

  • jak-15 5.9 years ago

Flies like a charm! Just needs some guns and it would be battle ready :D.

  • Boeing AH-64 Apache 5.9 years ago

Pretty good try! I would suggest changing the collective pitch control of the main rotor to Throttle instead of VTOL, in order to isolate rotor control from the turret control.

I really like the shape though the sharp edges make it look closer to the RAH-66 Comanche than the AH-64 Apache haha xD.

Non-the-less, good try! keep up the good work!!!
