@Airlinelover So quick um inquiry. Does it have to be a 707 and a320 specifically? And I'll probably send you an unlisted version of a plane someone else made however since I am not that great with airliners themselves (don't mean the livery but the actual body)
@KnightOfRen I really don't wanna hate, but I must say I agree with Foxtrot. I don't mean this in a personal way or anything but objectively speaking I just don't understand what the appeal is for so many people to upvote this. It is a mediocre build at most. So I too must wonder why your planes, especially the first ones, get so many upvotes, and I too seem to find the only logical conclusion is that this is some kind of inside joke. I mean come on, you can't tell me you didn't make the front cockpit panel be upside down on purpose. It has to have been on purpose. And the fact you can't take simple criticism also seems weird. This just has to be some kind of meme. And if it isn't I am not saying these things to be harsh. It is just I legitimately don't understand the upvote count on your builds.
@WNP78 Yeah I figured it was MP that was acting up. Also yeah my bad with the beacon light, haven't touched the game in too long so I confused the beacon light with other parts that don't have an input controller (I thought activation groups took FT expressions as booleans?). I gotta get back into it. You could say I lost my funk...
Bloody amazing. This legit convinced me for a second, until I read it was an april fools joke.
To be honest I totally would pay a monthly subscription for this amazing software.
And yes I say "software" and not "game", because of the incredible things you can do with it thanks to the physics simulation and things like funky trees that make it seem more like a professional software on the level of something like autocad. You are responsible for the fact that many of us SP users will in future become engineers, scientists and programmers ourselves. Essentially you literally make the world a better place.
We love you too devs <3 !
@belugasub Demon would just be "Daimon" so basically the same without the "eu" in front meaning "good". But it's current title actually makes it even funnier :3
@spefyjerbf Believe it or not the Autoland code I was working on looks very similar to your descend code if not identical, with the exception that I'm trying to use "AltitudeAgl" to make my aircraft flare at the end.
@Type2volkswagen Yes as the "AltitudeAgl" data is...well the altitude above ground level. I tested it out and 100m is indeed a little too low so you definitely want to bump that up. One important thing to note is that the Final approach for Yeager and Bandit spawn you above water. This means that if you set the gear to come down at a threshold of say 200m Agl it will only come down once you are above the terrain. There is no way around this airport-specific problem, other than bumping up the Agl threshold or just using "Altitude" in place of "AltitudeAgl" and setting it to always come down at like 700m.
@CrashFighter05 Here is the code you require: clamp((AltitudeAgl / 2) * (1 - sign(AltitudeAgl - 100 - 0.5)), 0, 1)
This will output "1" if the height above ground is < 100m and 0 otherwise. (Change it to your desire).
@exosuit To detect the speed being above a certain number as you say, of you plan on using FunkyTrees I believe you still need to do something similar to what I did, because FunkyTrees doesn't really support comparison operators (>,<) as of yet.
If something like "v<300" IS your ONLY input it will work, yes. But as you said it requires two pistons.
TLDR; The v<x Feature seems to not be compatible with FunkyTrees as part of an equation, but on its own it is.
@CrashFighter05 If you used AltitudeAgl you'ld just have to add something that will change the output data from AltitudeAgl to 1 if the input is =/= 0. I believe a clamp should work?
@EternalDarkness Alright. It seems I did indeed overdo it, thanks for letting me know.
Just a quick question please, for future reference. Would the same kind of video be acceptable if the words in question were censored?
And would you mind reminding me of how the strike system works? Do they persist forever, get removed after a certain time period and what's the limit?
Thank you.
@aircoolbro21 I know I'm late to the party but it has been shown that if you are driving an average gasoline powered city car you're better off driving it till it dies and then getting a tesla, than discarding it right now to get one. So if you wish to minimize your carbon footprint switching to an electric car right away isn't the best solution. Getting a new car has a large impact on your carbon footprint because of the composites used to construct it and because as you said, you effectively will still be using "dirty" energy to some degree.
TLDR; If your car is still performing well and isn't too old, don't switch.
If you are looking for a new car out of necessity, by all means, go electric.
@Armyguy1534 I was stating what Elon Musk would do in my opinion. Not what donald trump would do. Different people have different behaviors, get over it.
I think if Elon were to actually play SimplePlanes he'd probably just have any weird username. Not only to lie low but also just because he is a dank memer. His username would probably be a wordplay of some sort and his profile pic probably something funny/edgy.
I wouldn't find it hard to believe if he actually played simpleplanes. I would find it hard to believe if he used his real name, especially with an "official" slapped on it.
@BuiltBionixInd10 In fairness channels like CocomelonTV had no business on the YouTube main platform to begin with. They belong on the "YouTube Kids" platform. In my opinion Coppa makes sense in this regard. The problem is however when the FTC's vague terms could potentially classify games approved for all audiences as kids content.
I was actually mostly joking in my last reply. I doubt everyone will be fined 40,000 per video, that just isn't going to happen. Nor do I think SimplePlanes will be affected by this. This website is 13+ and as such any content created by the community in relation to it can be considered the same. Jundroo does a very good job of enforcing the 13+ rule here. They know what they're doing.
@BuiltBionixInd10 Kept it PG13. Didn't curse more than any other Youtuber You might come across. I mean we gotta be fair to Coppa. Make it too family friendly and you are in it for 40,000 per video :p
@Viper3000ad Obviously this isn't just some political event. I was as brief as I could be, because if you really wanted you could write entire books about this (like many people have). We can and will never forget the invasion of cyprus. As for being more prepared in the future...I doubt it (sadly). However, I remain optimistic, given that somehow, throughout history, greece has survived much worse. Mainly through "κωλοφαρδίες" and simply because of where we are located geographically.
@Rodrigo110 Ω τρελέ μουυυυυ, έλληνας, επιτέλους! Ναι ρε, πες μου οτι έχεις discord και γίναμε, κάνουμε και βίντεο μαζί αν γουστάρεις.
@Sarin eyy thanks for sharing, should be useful af

+1@Airlinelover Hey sure. I can give it a shot~
+1@Coderboi20 no clue how it behaves with newer physics models in newer game versions. Congrats you found a post that's nearly 2 years old :p
@nooo No, this is a single-prop plane.
@Braynie04 Or just be bisexual like me and...well you, you know the rest ;)
Welcome to SimplePlanes my guy ^-^

Stunning.
+1@Yeetmenflyer Outdated. This was before the winch item was a thing in the game. Now you can just use a winch and a magnet.
@KerlonceauxIndustries Thankies~

I'm greek and,
Eudaimon means "in good spirits" or "happy".
@Sm10684 nah, twas a Villager from Element animation saying "Hullo"
+1@Sm10684 Hello!
looks at date
Ummm no. SP is still very much alive.
@SnoWFLakE0s The point is to have a warning if you take off and forget the gear down. All aircraft have this in real life.
@JohnnyBoythePilot In Overload, under the "input" section.
@spefyjerbf Rotators that moved wing sections that are themselves also a control surface.

@exosuit edited my response, was in a hurry so I didn't clarify stuff.
Yes you can use v<x
No, it seems you can't use it in addition to FunkyTrees (in the same input field).
@exosuit To detect the speed being above a certain number as you say, of you plan on using FunkyTrees I believe you still need to do something similar to what I did, because FunkyTrees doesn't really support comparison operators (>,<) as of yet.

@Carbonfox1 Actually not a concorde :p
Own design based of of some supersonic planes.

Question:
AngleOfSlip goes from 0 to what angle?
Is it negative in one direction and positive in the other?
Suppose I fly heading 000 with the airflow dead on (000). If I use left
1
degree would the input be1
,359
or-1
?Lmao, C-YEET
