@ExperimentalDesign You would need to put your main wings right at the back or near the back of the plane and place your horizontal stabilizers at the front of your craft or at least in front of your main wings. If done correctly you should get a hyper maneuverable aircraft.
I have Arrrow Hayd. As for your aircraft, your wings are pretty much in the middle still with only the tips really being swept forward. Also your tail counters any forward sweptness that you have on your main wings.
Sooo technically you have a standard balanced aircraft.

@Eldael By placing a cockpit off of the plane somewhere in the designer I can work on different parts of a design without having it attached to the main design. I don't think there is an actual building technique to this game. There are quite a few tips tricks, however for me to start telling you about using two or more cockpits during the building process, I am not sure you would understand the reason why.
As far as I know there is not one design on this site that can hover flat for more than a few seconds.
Get the CoM circle and the CoL circle exactly on each other if your using only VTOL or only propellers.
If you are using a mix of different propulsion types, then you have to edit then play test, edit then play test, edit then play test until you get the balance good enough.

No impact performance with multiple bots. What impacts performance the most are total part count, wings and buoyancy (but not so much if u not in water). The more individual wing parts a plane has the more cpu gets used. If for instance when I race against my quadruple plane there is major drop in frame rate.

@WalrusAircraft Yes, Unity and No. Adding your own custom basic part similar to the 1st basic blocks is very simple following the modding wiki tutorials. Adding a part with some sort of function like movement, smoke or something else is not so simple.

Are you using the mod with roads in it?
In the new version I have fixed the helipads. As for steering on top of buildings I have to change a few settings and that should be sorted.
What device and android version you use?
It does take a while to load for 1st time, so just let simpleplanes unpack the mod then it should be ok. However I have uploaded a version without the roads. Krazy Wurld Android no roads

The only way there will be multiplayer is if someone makes a MULTIPLAYER MOD. The game from the start was not intended for multiplayer. If the devs were intending on it being multiplayer we would have had it by now trust me on this one.

This game is primarily intended for education/learning. What the devs have done is made it feel like your just having fun and you dont even realise that your learning the basics to a number of things involving aircraft design and characteristics of flight.
I feel that Weapons are pretty much only used for destruction and if there was multiplayer I could see it being alright as the way parts exploded and break off make it like similar to the Awesome Destruction Physics like the Red Faction Series.
However without things to destroy actually working weapons are useless.
EVERYTHING Should BE ADJUSTABLE or SCALEABLE
Simple really, with the new fuselage part, which once you have mastered how to use will make you forget about the standard blocks, since the fuselage part can do all that plus more. Aslo if all engines were scalable it would reduce the amount of dodgy xml modded engines.

1:13 with my UAP IX could probably get under 1 minute if some of the engines were not tied to an activator.

@Droslash Yes the races are a good way of testing your planes abilities. Just select A.I. mode and control throttle.

@Droslash When you try doing the races at 2000mph+ slow motion is very useful and it also helps when dive bombing.
The part cloning makes building designs with so much more efficient especially with multiple wing parts.
It looks good and the best thing about this is that it can actually fly and handles really well.
