@though @Multidimensional sorry guys, I meant to include the link to the Amazon app store version... although I don't know about specific devices not having it... check that link and see what it says?
@though the app store version is separate (though apparently might register as installed if you have underground version... not sure), the app store version will not be pulled down, has gotten the update, and will continue to receive updates. (although some devices aren't detecting it... @Multidimensional you could try restarting the device, if you haven't already)
To use, just install the mod, and any other mods which use it.
Note: there may be warnings that a mod "tried to load assembly" something something, do not worry about them, nothing is broken.
If that doesn't do it, I'm afraid I don't know... the update has been pushed to Amazon app store, but for some reason, some devices often take an annoyingly long time to register updates...
@Bdog04 did you try manually moving the .spmod-android file into the mods folder with a file manager? (located at /Android/data/com.jundroo.SimplePlanes/files/Mods/)
Just to clear it up for anyone reading these comments and not the other one where I said this, there is a version of SimplePlanes on the amazon appstore that will stay up, and has been updated (though it may take time for some devices to register the update).
@Testin123 there is a version on the amazon appstore that will stay up, and has been updated (though it may take time for some devices to register the update).
@Awsomur Apple explicitly states in their iOS developer program license agreement
3.3.2 An Application may not download or install executable code. Interpreted code may only be
used in an Application if all scripts, code and interpreters are packaged in the Application and not
downloaded.
This completely prevents proper/complete/Unity modding, and the "modding" they are making easier is mere XML editing, which can not allow mods such as the OP which actually add things to the game, but can only modify properties (though sometimes hidden without XML) of existing parts.
@NirvashTec wait, it can't be fixed by offset?
Uh, make the offset bigger.
For that much offset you might need upper hundreds.
Or if there is already large offset... reset defaults and see where it ends up
@melojam there isn't a feature intended for that purpose.
You can however use the "scale" button, make sure "scale engine power" is enabled, scale up the engine, then disable the "scale engine power" option, and scale it back down (this will scale the engine power relative to how big you made it when scaling up).
@ThatOnion are you sure that the version installed is 0.905 or greater? (you can check in the mods menu, select FT, and it will show the Version on the panel on the right, under the description).
If it is not, but you did try to install the latest version normally (in other words, it didn't work), go into your Mods folder and delete FineTuner.spmod, and delete any versions in your downloads folder, then download the latest and install it.
If it is the latest version, please open the dev console (backtick key `) before editing anything, then close the dev console and edit something so the camera locks, and open the dev console again, and let me know if there's an error (and if there is, what it says).
@Blitz75000 that's odd... are you sure it saved the settings before you uninstalled other mods?
(if the settings were what you set them to after loading into the game and then going back to the settings page, they were saved)
If you install the other mods, does it fail to work again?
What device are you on?
If you're on PC and it fails, try hitting the backtick [`] to open up the dev console and see if it shows any errors or warnings when you set the settings or go to play mode (and if there are errors, please let me know what they say).
In "The Call of Cthulhu", H. P. Lovecraft describes a statue of Cthulhu as "A monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind."[9] Cthulhu has been described in appearance as resembling an octopus, a dragon and a human caricature, hundreds of meters tall, with webbed human-looking arms and legs and a pair of rudimentary wings on its back.[9] Cthulhu's head is depicted as similar to the entirety of a gigantic octopus, with an unknown number of tentacles surrounding its supposed mouth.
~Wikipedia (since I don't actually have the short story to read myself... It is also stated near the top that "The Call of Cthulhu" is the original appearance of Cthulhu)
It doesn't state that he only has tentacles around his mouth, in fact it says his head resembles an octopus.
The rest of his body (wings included), can be thought to be left under the water, as in the stock game, you can never really find out what is down there.
@vonhubert
Yes, it adjusts the global gravity vector.
Drag is on a separate system though, where each object has it's own drag, and there is no global drag multiplier that I am aware of.
@ChiChiWerx you should be able to just download and install as normal, but sometimes that seems to fail for some reason, so if it doesn't say version 0.910 in the game, you might need to go into your mods folder and delete the old version, then install the new version.
@DeathStalker627 not sure if understand... This mod only gives an interface for modders to add settings to their mods, so without modders implementing it in their mods, it does pretty much nothing.
wat
Could you please link a design which does this?

@though if you've got $5 to spare, you can still get it on the Amazon app store
Didn't happen for me...
Could you please upload the design that does this as unlisted and give me the link?
@AirPlaneBrosTM
Have you tried restarting the device?
If that doesn't do it, I'm afraid I don't know... the update has been pushed to Amazon app store, but for some reason, some devices often take an annoyingly long time to register updates...
@destroyerP can you reproduce the glitch?

@NirvashTec adjust the position offset with the Fine Tuner settings page, from the menu>Mod Settings.
Requires the mod settings mod
sorry for the trouble, but scaling GUI correctly is a pain :(

@melojam oh, but @WNP78's "Overload" can be used to set the engine power directly :)
@melojam there isn't a feature intended for that purpose.

That's classified.
@Hiemovi can't guarantee anything, but I do plan at least one small bug-fix... hopefully...
@Bill0411 my internet is rather terrible, as are my skills in-game :P
@TheOwlAce there should be, eventually, at least a small one...
@Bill0411 yup
@Bill0411 if you're playing SP on the same computer that is running the server, just connect to
localhost
or127.0.0.1
Thanks everyone!
As much as I hope to help accomplish with SimplePlanes, please keep in mind that I am still mortal! :P
Contact the server host, if they are watching the server at the time they can see the IP and ban it if they deem it reasonable.
@Stampede what?
Thanks everyone!

@HeroOfDover download the latest version from here, and then use the "scale" button :)
@Oxcart those extra digits make zero noticeable difference, but maybe I can allow a couple more digits...

@mushr0om I always write a script to subscribe to the
button.onClick
event at runtime.Check out the example in Unity's scripting reference :)
@SSGTWolf I can't test right now, but one of these is pretty much always up.
@ESIOTROT121 I think I finally found your problem.
You need to delete System32, because it seems to keep iOS devices from running the multiplayer mod.
Sorry for the delay, it was a really obscure issue!

@MechWARRIOR57 @RailfanEthan in the files it is called Cthulhu.
@PaderiegeZ yeah
@vonhubert
Yes, it adjusts the global gravity vector.
Drag is on a separate system though, where each object has it's own drag, and there is no global drag multiplier that I am aware of.
@TheOwlAce could you please describe the noises it is making to help me diagnose the problem?
@TheOwlAce that's not incredibly specific...
@vonhubert this mod only
It adds nothing else by itself, the screenshot is an example of settings created with it.
The mod which adds the settings in the screenshot is adjustable gravity.
@ChiChiWerx you should be able to just download and install as normal, but sometimes that seems to fail for some reason, so if it doesn't say version 0.910 in the game, you might need to go into your mods folder and delete the old version, then install the new version.
@Cadin cool, good luck!
@DeathStalker627 that is correct, unless the mod weapon author updates their mod to have settings.
@BirdOfSteel I mean what happens?
@BirdOfSteel what does?
@Cadin you're welcome! I kinda made it because I wanted to have my own settings, but I can't wait to see what you do with it :)
@DeathStalker627 not sure if understand... This mod only gives an interface for modders to add settings to their mods, so without modders implementing it in their mods, it does pretty much nothing.
