Hey man! I just got home. I’ll see if I can tinker with this and maybe get it functioning again. Although I’m gonna be rusty since I haven’t built anything in 3 months... sorry I missed this message so long ago haha. @AtomicCyclone

Funny you should say that... cause I got home about five hours ago!!! Haha XD. It’s so nice to hear from you my friend :) I can’t wait to start building again! That is... if I remember how hahaha. Surely I could use some help from you and your fantastic talents! @Chancey21

    Cool man! Thanks! :)

  • Simple Junkers Ju 87B-2 5.9 years ago

No it’s cool. So in other words, you want them to be 0.75x their original size, OR shorter than the width of the wing, while retaining the original proportions ( not stretching or squishing them while scaling)? @Rymanx03

  • Ok this time I’m really going. 5.9 years ago

Umm.. what do you mean? I’m not taking my comp with me, if that’s what you mean @Spectre2520

Thanks man, you too! My pleasure, looking forward to working with you again soon! @JelloAircraftCorporation

Okay, sure I can help :) can you be a little more specific? i.e. what percent of original size do you want the bombs, etc. @Rymanx03

I love the new digital instruments/ADI! Maybe I’ll try to put them in a future build of my own? Also, that livery has got to be in the top five best SP liveries ever...

I’ll be happy to help when I’m back, and in the meantime, you might think of asking @Chancey21 for help, he is much more experienced than I am, and he’s helped me a ton on a lot of builds, so I’m guessing he might be willing to help :) @ACEPILOT109

  • N-8 Super STOL (Cockpit) 5.9 years ago

Haha for sure man. Although, unfortunately, I won’t be able to help too much; in 7 days I’m leaving on a trip for about three months, and I won’t have any access to Internet. But I’ll be looking forward to getting back to SP afterwards :) @ACEPILOT109

  • N-8 Super STOL (Cockpit) 5.9 years ago

Oops I forgot to upvote earlier haha sorry. Looks like you did a lot better than your expected number of upvotes, that’s awesome! Just about the same number of upvotes as my last STOL plane, so you’re obviously doing something right :)

  • N-8 Super STOL (Cockpit) 5.9 years ago

Oh ok haha. Well maybe for your next STOL build? It’s still a great plane. Also, if you want, I can help. At least with the pistons, just let me know :) @ACEPILOT109

  • H+S STOLmaster 250 5.9 years ago

    Yeah, that’s what I figured... @JelloAircraftCorporation

  • N-8 Super STOL (Cockpit) 5.9 years ago

Also btw I really like your presentation, nice job on that! :)

  • N-8 Super STOL (Cockpit) 5.9 years ago

Also, just looking at the plane, proportionally, I’d say the primary wings should be longer and wider to fit with the length and size of the fuselage, and the size of the stabilizers. So it might be convenient for you to just increase the size of the primary wings and maybe not have to worry about xml editing at all. Like I said, the plane flies great. But for STOL, it would help to get the stall speed down some. Ideally, like 40-45 mph... it’s tricky but you can do it! Haha

  • N-8 Super STOL (Cockpit) 5.9 years ago

Nice man, I like it! It flies really well. A couple things: for a STOL plane it would be good if the take off/stall speeds were lower. You can accomplish this by increasing the size of the primary wings (to decrease wing loading), or by reducing the weight of the plane with xml editing, or by moving the CoL forward so it’s pretty much directly above CoM (can be achieved by increasing primary wing size, and also potentially decreasing size of stabilizers. You have to dial it in to get the balance right). Or some combination of all of these things. And one more thing; the two pistons that actuate the throttle and mixture controls break under heavy G. You can fix that in Overload by making them unbreakable.

  • H+S STOLmaster 250 5.9 years ago

Haha yeah true. I suppose I should fix that :/ @JelloAircraftCorporation

  • H+S STOLmaster 250 5.9 years ago

  • H+S STOLmaster 250 5.9 years ago

Omg you’re right hahah the springs break. That is pretty hilarious haha. I spent several minutes flying around with the doors open trying to get the seats to completely fall out of the plane haha. I might post a fixed update but I dunno maybe I should keep it as is hah. Yeah, I had to take the tips off the antennae to get the part count under 800 lol. Anyway, thanks a lot man, means a lot coming from you :) @WNP78

  • H+S STOLmaster 250 5.9 years ago

Oh ok. Well sometimes you can attach part pairs by attaching one and then mirroring the other part... I’m not totally sure what the issue is from your explanation, but if you want to tag me on a WIP build, I’d be more than happy to take a look :) @JetFly

  • H+S STOLmaster 250 5.9 years ago

I’ll check to see if someone has made a tutorial on how to use it and I’ll get back to you @JetFly
