@Chancey21 thanks for the spotlight good sir!! What do you think about the fully mechanical control surfaces on this one? I admit I was fairly proud of myself about that hehehe :)
Hey man! I just got home. I’ll see if I can tinker with this and maybe get it functioning again. Although I’m gonna be rusty since I haven’t built anything in 3 months... sorry I missed this message so long ago haha. @AtomicCyclone
Funny you should say that... cause I got home about five hours ago!!! Haha XD. It’s so nice to hear from you my friend :) I can’t wait to start building again! That is... if I remember how hahaha. Surely I could use some help from you and your fantastic talents! @Chancey21
No it’s cool. So in other words, you want them to be 0.75x their original size, OR shorter than the width of the wing, while retaining the original proportions ( not stretching or squishing them while scaling)? @Rymanx03
Thanks man! Looking forward to coming back and getting your help on my next build! Haha. Also looking forward to jumping into SR2 as well! How is that going, btw? @Chancey21
I love the new digital instruments/ADI! Maybe I’ll try to put them in a future build of my own? Also, that livery has got to be in the top five best SP liveries ever...
I’ll be happy to help when I’m back, and in the meantime, you might think of asking @Chancey21 for help, he is much more experienced than I am, and he’s helped me a ton on a lot of builds, so I’m guessing he might be willing to help :) @ACEPILOT109
Haha for sure man. Although, unfortunately, I won’t be able to help too much; in 7 days I’m leaving on a trip for about three months, and I won’t have any access to Internet. But I’ll be looking forward to getting back to SP afterwards :) @ACEPILOT109
Oops I forgot to upvote earlier haha sorry. Looks like you did a lot better than your expected number of upvotes, that’s awesome! Just about the same number of upvotes as my last STOL plane, so you’re obviously doing something right :)
Oh ok haha. Well maybe for your next STOL build? It’s still a great plane. Also, if you want, I can help. At least with the pistons, just let me know :) @ACEPILOT109
Also, just looking at the plane, proportionally, I’d say the primary wings should be longer and wider to fit with the length and size of the fuselage, and the size of the stabilizers. So it might be convenient for you to just increase the size of the primary wings and maybe not have to worry about xml editing at all. Like I said, the plane flies great. But for STOL, it would help to get the stall speed down some. Ideally, like 40-45 mph... it’s tricky but you can do it! Haha
Nice man, I like it! It flies really well. A couple things: for a STOL plane it would be good if the take off/stall speeds were lower. You can accomplish this by increasing the size of the primary wings (to decrease wing loading), or by reducing the weight of the plane with xml editing, or by moving the CoL forward so it’s pretty much directly above CoM (can be achieved by increasing primary wing size, and also potentially decreasing size of stabilizers. You have to dial it in to get the balance right). Or some combination of all of these things. And one more thing; the two pistons that actuate the throttle and mixture controls break under heavy G. You can fix that in Overload by making them unbreakable.
Turns out they have been using the nudging tool. I don’t know exactly what the problem is that they’re having haha. Oh well thanks guys. @RamboJutter @Zoomzoom999
Wow, incredibly cool plane, I love it! Looks like the elevons are deflecting in the wrong direction for pitch though. No biggie. Besides that I am extremely impressed :)
Omg you’re right hahah the springs break. That is pretty hilarious haha. I spent several minutes flying around with the doors open trying to get the seats to completely fall out of the plane haha. I might post a fixed update but I dunno maybe I should keep it as is hah. Yeah, I had to take the tips off the antennae to get the part count under 800 lol. Anyway, thanks a lot man, means a lot coming from you :) @WNP78
Oh ok. Well sometimes you can attach part pairs by attaching one and then mirroring the other part... I’m not totally sure what the issue is from your explanation, but if you want to tag me on a WIP build, I’d be more than happy to take a look :) @JetFly
Woohoo alright awesome!!! :) @Chancey21
@XjayIndustrys hey man! Thanks for the upvotes :)
+1@Chancey21 thanks for the spotlight good sir!! What do you think about the fully mechanical control surfaces on this one? I admit I was fairly proud of myself about that hehehe :)
+1Cool man, I dig it!! :)

Umm.. what do you mean? I’m not taking my comp with me, if that’s what you mean @Spectre2520
Thanks man, you too! My pleasure, looking forward to working with you again soon! @JelloAircraftCorporation
Okay, sure I can help :) can you be a little more specific? i.e. what percent of original size do you want the bombs, etc. @Rymanx03
Maybe the best SP walker I’ve ever seen. Brilliant.
Wow, really amazing work.
+1Thanks man :) see you soon! @ThePrototype
Thanks man! Looking forward to coming back and getting your help on my next build! Haha. Also looking forward to jumping into SR2 as well! How is that going, btw? @Chancey21
+1Thanks man I will! :) @tylerdeveneuxmusic
+1I’m going to stay with my sister who lives way out in the country in Nicaragua @Spectre2520
See ya again soon! :) @JohnnyBoythePilot
+2Thanks man :) @FastDan
+1Thanks man! And don’t worry, I’ll be coming back 2nd or 3rd week in April :) @randomusername
+1Yep haha :(
Keep building while I’m gone! Haha @ThePilotDude
Love the cockpit!!
Looks great!!
Really good looking jet, and very nice to fly!
+1I love the new digital instruments/ADI! Maybe I’ll try to put them in a future build of my own? Also, that livery has got to be in the top five best SP liveries ever...
+1Haha why is that? Cause of SR2?@Chancey21

Yeah, that’s what I figured... @JelloAircraftCorporation
Also btw I really like your presentation, nice job on that! :)

+1Haha yeah true. I suppose I should fix that :/ @JelloAircraftCorporation
Oh really? Haha well thank you! :) @JelloAircraftCorporation
Turns out they have been using the nudging tool. I don’t know exactly what the problem is that they’re having haha. Oh well thanks guys. @RamboJutter @Zoomzoom999
Well hey, whatever works! :) @JohnnyBoythePilot
+1Turned out fantastic!
Wow, incredibly cool plane, I love it! Looks like the elevons are deflecting in the wrong direction for pitch though. No biggie. Besides that I am extremely impressed :)
Wow very cool!
+1Maybe it just doesn’t look like much in that all-too-important first image... @Chancey21
Oh well haha. Thanks man :) @Chancey21
Thanks man!! And thanks for the upvotes :) @lllKenlll

I’ll check to see if someone has made a tutorial on how to use it and I’ll get back to you @JetFly
Thanks man! :) @MAHADI
You need to learn how to use the nudging tool @JetFly
