Haha. Yeah I’ve been commenting and upvoting here and there, but I’ve still yet to have posted a new build since my return home. It may be slow going right now, as I seem to have lost a bit of my building vigor and gumption, but I promise it’s forthcoming! Also, thanks for lookin out for me :) @Gameboi14
I’m thinking about some old video clips of some of the early attempts at heavier than air flight, with reciprocating propulsion parts. It’s easy to see that it’s a non-starter. @ThomasRoderick
On the 2-in1? Yeah, just can’t find the sweet spot. And it just doesn’t feel as smooth and responsive like the iPhone. Although that could be cause the 2n1 just isn’t powerful enough to run SP smoothly, I dunno.
Anyway, I’m more or less content with my setup. I guess I have to be, cause it’s definitely not changing anytime soon haha. @iwannabeelected
Oops now that I think about it, I can’t remember If it was the Diablo or the Countach... although I’m guessing they both have all of those problems. Still, there’s no way it can’t be fun to go cruise around town in one of those, even if only until the novelty of it wore off...? I certainly wouldn’t hesitate if someone handed me the keys! Haha @tylerdeveneuxmusic
Yeah, James May from Top Gear did a review/test drive of the Diablo, one of his favorite cars as a kid, and said it was a case of don’t meet your heroes... super heavy clutch and steering, clunky shifting, uncomfortable, terrible ride, absolutely no visibility. They didn’t have “daily driver” in mind when they built those cars.
Oh, hmmm... I looked it up, and although the Vector W8 was in production from 1989 to 1993, its model years were 1990-1993. So I guess you’d have to ask the challenge host/judge if that would be allowable. If you liked the idea of building that car, of course. @tylerdeveneuxmusic
It’s my pleasure :) contributions from (and conversations with) builders like you are what make SP and the SP community so incredibly awesome, so thank you to you as well! @Tang0five
I’m back! I’m kinda building... I feel a bit rusty, so I haven’t really started a new plane from scratch yet. I’ve been taking other ppl’s builds and modifying them, just as a way to get back into it, but I haven’t produced anything worth posting. It’s good to be back though! :) @tylerdeveneuxmusic
Ahh haha gotcha. Yeah that Chancey21 doesn’t mess around! Looking forward to it, thanks man! Maybe that will give me sufficient time to brush up my building skills in order to build a worthy craft :) @BaconAircraft
Cool! Where are those engines exactly? I can’t seem to find them... I’ve been tinkering with the plane (undoubtedly just making it fly worse lol oh well whatevs). Also, do you have an easy install version of that Garmin? Or presumably BaconAircraft does... @Chancey21
Do I understand correctly that you used blocks of varying sizes, rescaled back to the same dimensions, to get slightly different curves from ‘smooth’ and ‘curved’?
Seriously, what are the odds? And within like two hours no less! Are you sure you don’t have ESP or something? Haha ;) Dude it’s so good to hear from you!!! @Chancey21
@Chancey21 thanks for the spotlight good sir!! What do you think about the fully mechanical control surfaces on this one? I admit I was fairly proud of myself about that hehehe :)
Funny you should say that... cause I got home about five hours ago!!! Haha XD. It’s so nice to hear from you my friend :) I can’t wait to start building again! That is... if I remember how hahaha. Surely I could use some help from you and your fantastic talents! @Chancey21
Thanks man! Looking forward to coming back and getting your help on my next build! Haha. Also looking forward to jumping into SR2 as well! How is that going, btw? @Chancey21
I love the new digital instruments/ADI! Maybe I’ll try to put them in a future build of my own? Also, that livery has got to be in the top five best SP liveries ever...

+1Fun! Crazy... but fun! Just how ZZ Top would want it I think!
+1This whole family of planes is just a treat to fly, great job sir :)
+1Awesome, thank you for all the tips, that is really helpful! Also that designer suite is super awesome. Where can I find your tutorial? @jamesPLANESii
+1Hey, man, times are changing! Gotta keep up to stay competitive lol @randomusername
+1Thanks man I really appreciate that :) @ChiyomiAnzai
+1Ahh, ok. Something to think about, thanks @randomusername
+1I’m thinking about some old video clips of some of the early attempts at heavier than air flight, with reciprocating propulsion parts. It’s easy to see that it’s a non-starter. @ThomasRoderick
+1Very cool! Such a great build...

+1@Chancey21 thanks man! :)
+1Really wonderful work, I love it.
+1Great build. Just curious though; why didn’t you use the new rotor parts from the update?
+1Haha yeah. Seems like most everyone except for me hates the on screen controls. @iwannabeelected
+1Sweet man! Yeah, livery is a great idea. I’d offer to help, but I’m pretty terrible when it comes to liveries haha :/@Minnererg
+1Oh and also, if you add tags next to the description, your post will be easier to find and will give you a little more exposure in the long run.
+1Neat! I agree with Chancey about the wings.
+1Sweet! I would definitely like to see the more advanced, efficient one!
+1Well built, good flyer, nice work! :)

+1Word. I wonder how they compare in terms of driving experience. @tylerdeveneuxmusic
+1Oh dang oh well. Still, the Cizeta is a great pick. @tylerdeveneuxmusic

+1Fantastic plane, excellent craftsmanship, I love it!
+1Perhaps it’s just that you can’t fly...? @ICANTFLY @Cardboard
+1That’s commitment right there! @BaconAircraft
+1Ahh haha gotcha. Yeah that Chancey21 doesn’t mess around! Looking forward to it, thanks man! Maybe that will give me sufficient time to brush up my building skills in order to build a worthy craft :) @BaconAircraft
+1Oh ok word. Well, is there any chance you’d temporarily post it/them/one as unlisted? I’m curious to see what you’ve come up with :) @Chancey21
Edit: oops never mind you already answered hahaha.
+1One more question; now that we’ve got v.1.8, are you going to try your hand at building any rotorcraft?
+1Yeah I’ve got discord, although I’ve used it for a grand total of about 10 mins so far haha. @Chancey21
+1Cool! Where are those engines exactly? I can’t seem to find them... I’ve been tinkering with the plane (undoubtedly just making it fly worse lol oh well whatevs). Also, do you have an easy install version of that Garmin? Or presumably BaconAircraft does... @Chancey21
+1I think this is maybe my favorite plane that you’ve built.
+1Nice man! My favorite 1.8 heli to fly so far :)
+1Do I understand correctly that you used blocks of varying sizes, rescaled back to the same dimensions, to get slightly different curves from ‘smooth’ and ‘curved’?

+1Thanks man I will! :) @tylerdeveneuxmusic
+1Thanks man :) @FastDan
+1Thanks man! And don’t worry, I’ll be coming back 2nd or 3rd week in April :) @randomusername
+1Really good looking jet, and very nice to fly!
+1I love the new digital instruments/ADI! Maybe I’ll try to put them in a future build of my own? Also, that livery has got to be in the top five best SP liveries ever...
+1Haha why is that? Cause of SR2?@Chancey21
