Laptop gives better things, like mods and more parts, but we iOS peasants can make some good stuff too, we can download xml modded parts, have a reasonable part count, and I have a feeling and iPhone/pod/pad would be cheaper than a laptop, so,there's that, whatever you decid, yet if you couldn't afford a laptop or just don't want to spend that much, and can take a somewhat decreased performance, and get used to a smaller screen, ok so I actually don't know what I'm typing anymore, ima pleb, just do what you need/want to.
I use iOS so I can't test 1.6, but I agree its you on adding a little more, it's a great update (I assume) but some more stuff would be nice, like a heli rotor, you can only get one by xml or downloading an xml, that seems common sense to me, but again they have their hands full with sr2, so I'm not mad, and I can't wait for it (the update) to come out on iOS!
