    @Homemade1 I apologise, considering the game encourages building on others works, I thought you'd be okay with it.

  • AMH.55A6 Thunderbolt II URSA-T2 4.0 years ago

    So much work and detail and yet a noobie plane has more upvotes than this, seems most users on this site can't care any less about tanks. You did a marvelous job

  • XA-36C+ 4.0 years ago

    @GuyFolk precisely!

  • XA-36C+ 4.0 years ago

    @GuyFolk that was intentional, the idea is to keep the plane at a high angle of attack beyond the stall threshold, but also prevent it from flipping around so that it uses the wings like drag surfaces in conjunction with thrust from the engines to turn very tightly while still maintaining a forward velocity.

  • Rockwell-MBB X-31 4.0 years ago

    Definitely one of the best thrust vectoring planes on this site, it's easy to handle and doesn't go crazy, super fun to flip and spin it around LMAO, good job!

    @JediMasterYeeT not sure about IOS but Android users can't use mods since it's no longer supported by Google Play.

    @CanadianRAF yeah sure that's what the game is for

  • FA-01 (credit to '@TheAllCarryingOne') 4.2 years ago

    I wonder what happened to the plane's creator.....

  • Archwing Stability Demonstration 4.2 years ago

    @AsteroidAsteroidTheBook it's not, I just reversed the joystick controls in the settings, because up is up and down is down for me. Which is funny because if it were a physical joystick I would pull back to go up and push to go down.

  • HawkMoth MK.III+ 4.2 years ago

    @Speediestkid

    Thanks! Low physics settings tend to make it rattle, high physics works best.

  • G-17 “Viper”(UCBMA) 4.3 years ago

    @ChrisPy that's purposeful due to their location, with no tail to counter their forces, angling the trailing edge flaps downward will make it pitch down.

  • Throttleable rotator and differential torque for yaw demonstration on a coaxial helicopter prototype. 4.3 years ago

    @BnanaX if you're interested in the rotors, here's a build that uses the same functionality.

  • Turiri GAH-2G Wyvern 4.3 years ago

    @BnanaX though the tyrannogarch has the yaw by rotators function, I think this particular build was before I implemented yaw torque controls.

  • Turiri GAH-2G Wyvern 4.3 years ago

    @BnanaX yeah

  • Per Aspera Ad Astra IV 4.3 years ago

    @ThomasRoderick it's pretty functional with respect to its design and proposal, but the controls are.... They feel like it needs WD-40, when I try to actuate two axes at once (pitch and roll) one of the axes overtakes the other, there's no blending, other than that it's looking good so far, keep it up!

    Also concerning the Centaurus Alpha, it's rendered obsolete by the exoatmospheric fighter that's not really exoatmospheric, since that just uses funky trees and thrust vectoring to maintain control instead of an inertial stabilizing coaxial disk the C Alpha is built on.

  • Lockheed D-2D (I PROMISE THIS IS THE LAST ONE) 4.4 years ago

    @AceOfSpade I miiiiiiight make an E model, but that's after considerable modifications and improvements to the current variant, and I don't know how those would look like as of yet.

  • Lockheed D-2D (I PROMISE THIS IS THE LAST ONE) 4.4 years ago

    @ThomasRoderick LMFAO those are random words I used to replace "Disabled" since I just want the surfaces for the trim color.

    Did you catch the other two?

    @ThomasRoderick yeah that's to stop the slip compensation part of the code from making the brakes do that when the plane is still, it had me frustrated until I remembered the clamp01 equation LMAO

    This plane would look neat with a pelican tail, overall nice job

  • Funky trees help (again) 4.4 years ago

    @WarshipDude that's genuinely a very dissatisfying answer, I want NEW ways to do these things, that's the entire point of this post, I want to take advantage of funky trees and apply them to make a helicopter (or arguably any aircraft) that works entirely differently from what I've been doing for ages and I'm tirelessly bored of. I wouldn't have made this post if I was satisfied with tipjets and torqueless rotors.

  • Funky trees help (again) 4.4 years ago

    @WarshipDude I've already done this countless times, but thanks.

    @BnanaX I recommend just removing the weapon pylons entirely, i don't know how else to make it mobile friendlier.
