should place the heavy weapons a bit further back on the wings to balance out the weight, its nose heavy and also has a nose down tendency, so it can be pretty sluggish to turn. if u make the inner portions of the wings flat bottomed and also extend the delta further forward, it fixes completely ^^ also upvoted because this is falling into the graveyard at his rate too XD

This tutorial is full of truth. Consistency and refinement in a design makes all the difference. Also, funny enough, I did find the thumbnail of this plane more attractive than most of the planes surrounding it on the list, and I was more curious about the plane alone, not even the tutorial. XD

Very nice recreation! Needs a re-mirroring though, one of its wingtips is off a little. Also should make the main wings semi symmetric to avoid the nose down flight
@Falcon110 What you need to do, is attach a rotator to the wing anywhere, then attach the object you want to be rotated to the rotator in the correct orientation and position. Then what you can actually do is use nudge (shift+qweasd) to send the rotator off somewhere no one will see, like the middle of the plane, and also nudge the weapon pylon into the proper place. Hope this helps.. Although Ive never tried this with anything as small as weapons, so they might be weak. Also the attach point should be basically where u want the weapons, or you'll get weird looking invisible connections

@amazingperson124 I figured it out :D replace the wing ones with outward folding wing gear. since those are a little longer, replace the center gear with a lengthened one just pushed into the body to match the length. The tail sits a little bit higher on the ground, and the wing gear clip the missiles while folding, but looks way better imo
@Dynimerous Well, yea, from a balance perspective, it shouldn't have an effect, but what about drag? You will always have shifting drag points throwing it off
Hey, this is great. Smooth, steady control. Very flyable. It flies a LOT like Cyclone VTOL I made a while ago, but with jets instead of a fan. You should give it a look, you'll like it :D
Cool plane, but personally I think the main engine power is overkill. Also it works better to have the roll surfaces on the ends of the main wings where they have more leverage. The canards work way better as inverted pitch surfaces for handling
Drove this thing right up a mountainside like a boss, but then slipped off into a chasm. Great offroader though, takes the bumps great. I moved the cockpit into a better interior view though, it's pretty terrible staring under the dashboard at nothing, but anyway, great job
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering Yea ik its supposed to be 2 bladed, but I had to add a little extra for more lift. Also there's really no torque effect from the rotor parts in this game, so if you have a tail, it should be at 0 degrees anyway. Really I just wanted you to see it as proof of concept. As a heli, it can take off and fly decently well with those mods.
You'll need to xml edit the main rotor power for it to fly well. I Have an edited version that can fly pretty good now. Though, i had to change a vew things, and the vtol is a little unsightly, it works. I'll upload for you to check out
Yea thats a lot better, but the ground takeoff still isnt there, so i made a few tweaks. First of all, it seems you're editing it while it's at speed, which is fine, but that accounts for the lift on the tail wings. You want it to be able to hover first imo, so remove the tail rotor to see the real CoT. I found adding 600lbs on the tip of the tail will balance it, but theres still no roll control, so u need to find a way to shove a vtol engine in there. add a few RCN's on it and u should have full hover control
@Pauciloquent Yea I experimented with most of that. Ideally I liked the cleaner look of no canards at all, but they helped the handling so much they couldn't be avoided. as for the surface type, I found when I avoided nose up at high speed, it ended up being extremely sluggish in landing. The rear landing gear though.. thats purely aesthetic. it looked really stupid with only 2 rears with that much weight. I would have shifted them forward, closer to the CoM for a better takeoff pivot, but laziness.. lol
@Halphas Thanks! When I made this I was thinking along the lines of the B2 mixed with Ace Combat's Arcbird, but I see what you mean. It has the same double engine look as the B1 from behind.

Cool plane! I find the 05 is very poorly placed though, its kinda just tacked onto the edge of the fuselage and takes away from the looks imo
im not entirely sure why this exists, but it was kind of entertaining lol

It flies great, but it's VERY sensitive and difficult to land. Hard to use but fun

@Baldovino Actually.. technically you already have broken the sound barrier, if you have gone over approximately 720mph at 15000ft above sea level.
I tried a quad engine design, but even then, the max I managed was 742
Clean and accurate shape, and flies great with awesome handling. Nothing I can possibly dislike about this, +1 ^^
