Clean and realistic design. Good stuff. Also, uneven roll is due to inaccurate mirroring of wing connections. Your main wings seem to be built the same, but I can tell your elevons have a different connection tree just by pulling pieces off, so pull the wing pieces out of them, and reassemble. That will fix the imbalance. Trust me, it ain't gear drag, even though it looks to be :P
Awesome looking plane, but I have to say, with those intakes behind those front slats on the top side, those poor engines would flameout in no time. Impractical design, but cool nonetheless. Great construction too.
@Johndfg Totally agree. The F-35 is meant to be a pure multirole jet, unlike the F-22 which was built mainly for air superiority. It's like saying the A-10 handles bad and can't win a dogfight... obviously. The F-35 focuses on nothing, but can handle any odd job. It would be pointless to simply have a second super maneuverable fighter alongside the F-22, as that would be redundant. It's rather for utility and technological warfare - What other plane can command drones? What other plane can land at a heliport? Though it's complicated and likely difficult to maintain, VTOL development could prove to be invaluable. As for the pilot.. Flying an F-35 is incredibly simple. The ease of a VTOL landing is astonishing with the tech in that thing.
@EternalDarkness @Johndfg No one's angry, and you don't need to get defensive. If anything, I'd be quite humbled if such a popular builder took inspiration, which is why I asked.
@Johndfg Nah, I know you had done the converging pieces like this on the nose long ago, its just that this uses the specific format of the large 45 degree piece underneath with 2 slanted sides that allow room for a cockpit between, and a curved top to fill it out. It's the very specific format that surprised me.
@OtherNigel Forward swept is no different from reverse swept. Drag is determined by the leading edge angle and the amount of surface. An F-18 for instance has a similar leading edge angle, but since the tip of the wing leads, this design benefits from a more forward center of lift, increasing maneuverability. You have to remember that wings are quite thin and cannot "push air" by cupping or containing it.
This looks great but the engines need some serious adjustment. The props slowly accelerate to an obscene speed, leaving you flying at mach 1 somehow, and then take over a minute to slow back down. The best solution to control this for takeoff and flight seems to be to never go above 15%, using a mere 10% for takeoff. But yea, other than that, I like.
Looks great on the top, but no love for the underside.. well, not yet, given the wip tag. Also it has a horrendous pitch down imbalance. It's clearly not complete, but I like it regardless. Will definitely need to try the final version
@JoddyFubuki788 Depends how low you'd want the part count. under 400 is a matter of removing trim and decals, but much less than that would mean gutting the interior and cutting features.
@Liquidfox All VTOLs handle different and have their own quirks, so I know what you mean. I've landed this thing on bacon's air carrier and rooftops not much bigger than the stance of the landing gear though, so rest assured, It's capable in the right hands :P
@dogspit So far we can only do pc, and though we don't have any solid specs yet, it seems a 1gb graphics card will likely be a minimum requirement. Basically any half decent modern computer should be able to at least run it.
@MrTaco So there was this creator, who made shockingly average planes with immense popularity, and made 3 a day, stealing basically the whole front pages to himself. Personally I found it rather greedy but he was a nice enough guy. Basically he received a lot of hate, and eventually deleted his account. This sparked a whole chain of toxic nonsense of popular creators all making a big fuss and deleting their accounts. In the end, like all big fusses, 95% of the community didn't care, but it made a mess of the forums regardless. And that is the story of when SP sucked for a while. ^^
@LukeDaDuke I browse around now and then, but I don't really build anymore.
Very sleek
Even modelled the intake splitter and boundary air channels.. That's some quality work.

@Dutterbro1 Sorry, but i'm not actively building nowadays
Looks great, but i have to say it is quite snub nosed. If the canopy and nose were elongated, it would be perfect
@typeZERO I've been pretty inactive with work and other games, but I'll keep it in mind, if I ever get back to actively creating
Love the wing design. Reminds me of the Morgan.
@realluochen9999 no prob, love the custom nozzles on this thing btw

Very cool, its like a twin engine f-35 with a V tail. Also is that my ASF-X nose construction style i see? :P
Totally looks like a crazy Steam livery. Good work.
Great plane, absolutely gorgeous. Typo in the name though.
Very sleek
The wings are just terrible, not even close to the real one, 0/10, absolutely shameful work. Unfollowed, downvoted, and deleted browser history.
@PyrusEnderhunter You can mod, but make it different enough to be worthwhile, and of course give credit where it's due
@PyrusEnderhunter Sorry, I don't build custom requests

@Sarpanitu @SteadfastContracting @JovianPat Thank you all :)
@WalrusAircraft @MrMecha @Treadmill103 Thanks! Glad you all like it ^^
Looks great and flies great. Even has useful prop pitch adjustment! Good work.

It's so cute XD Looks like a little toy
This thing is pretty sweet
Very smooth, clean model. Great work

I really like it, but It seems to have a balance issue, and rolls right. Should really fix that if you can.
Weird, but fun. I like it. Has a cool look to it.
@JoddyFubuki788 Here's a 385 part version with some trim removed
@AV8R Thanks :D
@Liquidfox Well rip. Looks like ill need to make a mobile friendly version at some point then

Haven't ever been able to connect to this
Maxed everything on pc.
Clean, simple, and accurate. Good stuff.
Best looking f-16 yet
very clean, I like it
@dogspit Computers are great, you should build one. Everyone should. The world needs moar computers.
@dogspit So far we can only do pc, and though we don't have any solid specs yet, it seems a 1gb graphics card will likely be a minimum requirement. Basically any half decent modern computer should be able to at least run it.
Gotta love the mad max style on this
Very nice, always like a good ace combat reference.
@MrTaco Sure was.

Interesting idea, but I probably won't do it because I'm so busy with other stuff nowadays
This is definitely the best looking harrier I've seen. Good stuff.
What a beautiful hunk of junk. Fantastic recreation. I'm just minorly bothered by the incorrect front window design though
