@parkrangerjerry i actually think its the perfect size, just looking small from the side because of the cockpit framing. Then again...i couldnt fit a gyro gunsight
@DeezDucks lmao yeah, this spit goes way too fast, i did alot of tweaking and i cant find the right one as i intended to make its size and weight both a 1:1 from the real one. The real one goes 618kph @ 3,200m but even then this build of mine goes 640kph+ at 500m and thats bugging me too.
]
Edit:
maybe ill fix it on the final version. As for the method...ill have to find it on my own it seems...
@pedro16797 im not too sure about participating in the challenge anymore and its still missing the livery and cockpit interiors...haha... (I cropped it to not spoil how the spitfire looks like for now).
]
Edit: nvm i just used the less parts count version that i already uploaded as unlisted and slapped some cockpit interiors to it.
@Galland unfortunately doing those little things is what im still bad at. Im mostly about building the entire plane. As for the cockpit canopy, that one came from MisterT's Work for Ta-152H from someone, and i just used it as reference for doing mine.
@pedro16797 about the thing you mentioned to TheNightmareCompany on the scaled to fit a person, i think it would be better if there was also a holographic scaled person sitting on the Seats, just like a scaled hand on the cockpit input controls.
"and since 1.12 is coming soon."
Wait 1.11 just came out and now were getting 1.12 soon?
.
That aside, this sounds like a challenge for me with my recent successful build during 1.11 Beta (FW-190A-8). And since im going to build the Spitfire Mk.IX next week, i might aswell participate here.
Incase you guys havent noticed, for the sake of aesthetic and accuracy. Theres a smaller propeller just behind the main propeller that serves as the so called "Cooling Fan" on both this and the Mobile friendly version.
@parkrangerjerry @rexzion i intend to make it mobile friendly first, the one with a paint scheme i metioned will have livery,cockpit instruments and something cool i wont spoil yet.
@e_soup yes lol, my aim was to make it accurate as possible while still maintaining simplicity. Although the finished version will have cockpit instruments and some sort of paint scheme so i guess ill have to upload a less part count .
@Blaize1380 youll get used to it when you study the wings hard, i was the same as you back then. And with this new possibility of making a ming, i'll study it so it can be my in my new builds.
Ill repost the Aircraft after the beta's new update is done, so it wont have the "Beta" warning and everyone could download it.
]
Edit: i'll also make some adjustments on its rolling instability on level flight, so for now... Bear with it (especially people like me who has slught OCD of auto-rolling issues).
Oh man imagine in VR, you drive a WW2 Tank (like the T-34 i think) and you have to absolutely use 2 levers to drive and steer the tank. That would be awesome!
Somehow, i cant help but feel that it has the same "over roll" issue my La-7 had. But forget that. This is a very nice build that it reminds me of mine lol. Too bad my phone isnt powerful enough to make a proper dogfight with my La-7 and your La-5FN.
This actually looks promising in the case of the Pzkpfw IV's chassis. Something tells me if the design like WoT's Pzkpfw III/IV concluded, this would have been its further development. Though the one thing that concerns me is will the Suspension withstand its weight since its the problem the original Pzkpfw IV had that made its Schmalturm planned variant get diminished.
@parkrangerjerry now we need german Mustang, german hellcat, german Thunderbolt and german lightning! XD
+1@parkrangerjerry i actually think its the perfect size, just looking small from the side because of the cockpit framing. Then again...i couldnt fit a gyro gunsight
@Thatoneweirdoh sorry i kinda have plans right now. A MesserSpit (captured Spit Mk.V with DB605A), Vought F4U-1D and thr P-47D.
@Thatoneweirdoh its in the crafted intructions.
As a lego fan, this is truly marvelous lol
@Tang0five should have waited a bit for the one with Livery lol

@ArkRoyalTheDDhunter that, i wasnt sure since i dont use inch lol, lemme edit that now.

@3 i heard it works, but i think its more convenient to not have to renaming thing in the folder
Now im curious on the same Auto-aim feature on the British Turreted fighter Defiant.
+5@Leahh its literally pinned, it wont get flooded by other threads. As for new servers, why though.
+2@Leahh theres a pinned thread by the forums.
+1@Amirabadi yes. I just looked for one thats high quality enough.
+1@Amirabadi i used this first for the initial building, then used this for the paint scheme afterwards. :)
+1@Galland unfortunately doing those little things is what im still bad at. Im mostly about building the entire plane. As for the cockpit canopy, that one came from MisterT's Work for Ta-152H from someone, and i just used it as reference for doing mine.

Is it me or is this the fastest Beta Test ive seen of all SP betas. 2 weeks to full release...
+2@JamezTV maybe someday, then again i have no plans on what to build next.

Edit: good news
@parkrangerjerry @rexzion i intend to make it mobile friendly first, the one with a paint scheme i metioned will have livery,cockpit instruments and something cool i wont spoil yet.
@SimplyPlain the only part i can call it simple is how many part counts it has lol, as for the execution you need experience and references.
Great job on building my favorite tier 9 autoloader from WoTB, now i wonder if youll do the 120mm version lol.
@e_soup yes lol, my aim was to make it accurate as possible while still maintaining simplicity. Although the finished version will have cockpit instruments and some sort of paint scheme so i guess ill have to upload a less part count .
You could also use this aircraft's wings to study its properties yourself just like how i used @EternalDarkness' post to study his
@EternalDarkness im still having troubles, but heres the result for my FW190A-8 im building.
@Blaize1380 youll get used to it when you study the wings hard, i was the same as you back then. And with this new possibility of making a ming, i'll study it so it can be my in my new builds.
+1Remember what Kevin said? yeh this will be a huge change to everyone's builds in the future.

@TatsuTheOtaku i used this blueprint and... Well it is only a couple millimeters short.
+1Devs pls, i think you forgot the Yaw Pedals xD how are SP VR players going to Yaw.
+1@ReinMcDeer
@ReinMcDeer heres a Sneak Peak of the convertion
+2Oh man imagine in VR, you drive a WW2 Tank (like the T-34 i think) and you have to absolutely use 2 levers to drive and steer the tank. That would be awesome!
+11@ThomasRoderick something to do with the armaments i guess? Theres no real specification.
+1@ReindMcDeer actually... I think ill go modify it into an F2G-2 lol
+1@ReinMcDeer aight, ill start once i get the new more powerful phone im having next week.
+1@ReinMcDeer mind if i use this plane for a basis of the Corsair? Im thinking on rebuilding the Cockpit and Wings (Custom Surface).
@PapaKernels worry not, im in the works of making another one, though its fictional but it looks cool.
+1Plane is great, im rooting for another Remake where all the wings are "custom surfaced" and im sure it will look very good.
Looks a bit suspicious, almost as if its the Exact same La-7 Dolgushin i have several months ago.
Interesting, never knew the USN made such thing.
Somehow, i cant help but feel that it has the same "over roll" issue my La-7 had. But forget that. This is a very nice build that it reminds me of mine lol. Too bad my phone isnt powerful enough to make a proper dogfight with my La-7 and your La-5FN.
+1@ArkRoyalTheDDhunter its one of my build mottos in this game lol. Appreciate the compliment.
@Tsuchiisan

+1@Panzerfaust2121 he just said its not his, aswell as the Auto-Credit system leading to a user'a original specification.
+1@tsampoy thanks, it was @RuvienRuvienTheCitizen who convinced me to build it and well, a bit of me too as i got curious to what it would look like lol
@DerVito i like mine a see through from the inside of the cockpit without obstruction when in 1st person. Thanks for the advice, but no thanks.
