@AntonWings i probably wouldnt have finished it without your help, i practically lost my motivation to continue building it when i was stuck with its canopy xD
@BeastHunter as for me... Since the game is all about building anything you want now... Why not "replica" or "modelling" oriented type of game? From bicycles, to cars, to tanks, to planes, to cargo planes, to ships to space ships, Anything. And key features the successor game will have from its predecessor is the Funky Trees and mods (now ingame features) like Finetuner and Overload. Most of us are used to using it by now afterall.
@FlyingPatriot doing cockpit details just really isnt my thing, plus i have no VR headset to really test it out, aswell as only having a phone that can run less than 900 parts. So im really restricted.
While i havent been building for quite awhile, i still keep the game for when im bored and when theres no internet. I really like it and its probly my favourite offline mobile game.
@AntonWings I tried to use your "double stack" fuselage method on the F6F-5, Its quite good albeit its shaping isnt accurate due to SP's limitations. So lookout for a Hellcat build in the future. :D
@AntonWings i kinda have a way on that said math for basic "NACA" airfoils for thr Fuselage Slicing wings . And although i said it makes me want to build the 109, it might take some time and planning on which variant looks eye candy and least popular.
Looks nice and whats more, it uses the same fuselage slicing wing method i love using. Though roll performance feels a too much. It makes me want to build the Bf-109 somehow lol.
Ive always wondered what slicing % is perfect for making the Sharp RCS fuselage of stealth aircrafts. Thanks to this, it should be easier to make a F-22 for me now.
I specifically made the cockpit area hollow fuselages and glasses so that if you guys ever want to give it an interior, you don't have to replace the fuselage into hollow fuselages and just lessen the opacity of the glass hollow fuselage.
.
Maybe ill start doing it like this from now.
@Sergio666 ty, the build did take a bit of time and part count, but it could have been done better, especially its Cockpit interior. Sadly that wasnt my specialty.
@Sergio666 want me to remake its Wing model for you? Your build really looks cool, abd maybe giving it that Fuselage slicing wing will make it even better. Though you will have to provide the blueprint you used for it aswell as the Image size ingame.
@AceAckermann its Razorback Fuselage is a bit tricky to do. You can already see it in my Corsair build and maybe the Spitfire, its the reason why i picked a Bubble Canopy Thunderbolt for my build. So its kinda in the low priority. Though it does look nice, So ill consider it, if not, the Bearcat.
@ZeroWishSlashedO oh btw, regarding the nose steering gear. Rather than setting the Group activation to 2, why not set it to LandingGear? I tried it when i downloaded the aircraft and it works. it doesnt steer when yawing when the landing gear is retracted.
@GUEVANAERONAUTICS i cant really comment since this is my first time building a jet aircraft. Though i guess its how i got experience and tricks on using fuselages to model thr whole thing? And i did use a blueprint, and also used Ace Combat 7 as a reference on the hidden things to "accurately" model it.
@WinsWings thanks for the compliment on my works, anyways, then how about i put the whole plane onto part assemblies, download this successor and then put the whole plane there?
@WinsWings is a 10% progress build allowed to join on this challege? I have a F-100D that i wanted to build, but never completed yet, so i was planning on completing and submitting it here.
The bane of 3.3 to 5.3 prop players in War Thunder.
+1@yosshi31 yours still looks quite good though for a cheapet alternative.
@AntonWings i probably wouldnt have finished it without your help, i practically lost my motivation to continue building it when i was stuck with its canopy xD
+3Ah... If only this came up few months ago when i was building my P-51H-5.
.
Edit: and im sure reposting an existing build isnt allowed
Now im imagining Fubuki with her F-14D Tomcat from her AC5 days
@LunarEclipseSP you know someone plays Doom a whole lot when he simply say Run, Think, Shoot, Live as a advice lol
+2@Robomo119E ofc
@Sakorsky

+1The upper air intake seem a tad too big and too narrow, other than that, this is one very nice build!
@FlyingPatriot doing cockpit details just really isnt my thing, plus i have no VR headset to really test it out, aswell as only having a phone that can run less than 900 parts. So im really restricted.
@ShocK69 im about to do a surprise post within a week, and a Yak-3U is already in my next list to build... Maybe after soemtime i guess when im bored.
+1While i havent been building for quite awhile, i still keep the game for when im bored and when theres no internet. I really like it and its probly my favourite offline mobile game.
+1@NorwegianHelsinki i was thinking about that lmao.
Imagine if this was put on an Airliner that has a cockpit interior.
+6fully automated Flight sim: SP edition
Glad im not the only one who finally built one :D

+2@FeatherWing tyvm for the follow up info, never knew what they the british camo patterns were intended for until now.
+1Ive always wondered what slicing % is perfect for making the Sharp RCS fuselage of stealth aircrafts. Thanks to this, it should be easier to make a F-22 for me now.
@ThomasRoderick when theres Simpleplanes 2 i guess?
+1Simpleplanes no more, we're 8-bitPlanes now
Edit: we're also few steps closer from having DOOM in Simpleplanes!
+6This builds makes me want to download it and remodel the wings because this just looks damn good.
Gratz on the winners! And good job to everyone who participated!
+1Im kinda wondering why this build isnt in spotlight.
+1@kitkatof kind of understandable as a kid when your dad made you join him on watching something like Top Gear.
+1@Vladimir1944 ..ill try consider it, as something special (maybe when i hit platinum?) together with my "Pusher Aircraft Inverted Hayate"
+1@Vladimir1944 lmao, i dont think i can do a Zero with jets.

@Madness sadly its not the one with an F-16 nose. Had trouble making it
+1@OkaNieba im bad at doing cockpit interiors, so i might aswell just not make it.
+1@Sergio666 ty, the build did take a bit of time and part count, but it could have been done better, especially its Cockpit interior. Sadly that wasnt my specialty.

@Hiimakeplanes i think i have a good contender that may look similar to this lol.
an inverted Hayate
@ZeroWithSlashedO ah so thats why.
@ZeroWishSlashedO oh btw, regarding the nose steering gear. Rather than setting the Group activation to 2, why not set it to
LandingGear
? I tried it when i downloaded the aircraft and it works. it doesnt steer when yawing when the landing gear is retracted.Maybe ill give it the missing details including the airbrake at a later time, one that is seperate from the challenge entry build.
@Planebuilder2123 neither will i though. I just treated it as a test bed for myself on finally making a jet aircraft, since im a single prop builder.
@WinsWings tagging Challenge Host
@RicardoACE can i auggest this one also? Its a bit of an "extension".
This build kinda renders my WiP F-15C pointless lol, jokes aside. Damn this is one great build.
@WinsWings i kinda changed my mind, ill build the McDonnell Douglas F-15C instead
+1@WinsWings thanks for the compliment on my works, anyways, then how about i put the whole plane onto part assemblies, download this successor and then put the whole plane there?

@Australia3 if i feel like it, sure ill try.
I just completed playing Ace Combat 7 and take my upvote lol
+9@Pennywise0831 "i give salute to the pilots who gave us all a future."
