@Hiimakeplanes yes... but do you know exactly which one? 🤔😂
.
Also, I don't feel like doing the tedious job of placing 50 50 lb bombs, so I'm doing 8 500 lb ones 😂
I also started writing the Thunder Hawk Initiative (the actual constitutional initiative), and it alone is like 16 pages so far, and I'm not even halfway done yet 😂
.
It's longer than the US constitution, which doesn't say much, but I still think it's cool
@HuskyDynamics01 thanks!! 😂
Just a few months since I've become more and more fascinated in politics and history. I created a thing I called the "Thunder Hawks" about 3 or 4 years ago, and I've been making it bigger and bigger. It originally was just a symbol with a company I wanted to start when I was older, and now that I'm basically 18, it's more of a political movement, and a huge thing. So this timeline, like 5 months, and overall about 4 years
@HuskyDynamics01 thank you!! 😂
The 20 pages is for the years 2024-2048, and it covers pre-war, the American Civil War, and World Wars III-IV 😂
.
I mostly talk about the THI and it's development, but I also build a lot of the entire world. I'm planning on making a mapped timeline, right now I only have the 2035, 2036, and 2042 maps 😂
This is perfect! I might have issues reaching the deadline, as I have one more project before I would start on this, but I think I could do it!
All the weapons being internalized will be fascinating to do for this... but I can manage!
@HuskyDynamics01 thank you!! Yeah! It's kinda intentional XD
.
This is basically an excerpt from my 20-page overview, so the states themselves are just like really powerful individual governments, and the central government keeps organization, and the people are placed into conglomerates to work without free will, let that be the military or industry
@Planebuilder2123 @crazyplaness
I entirely agree, but that drastic of changes require an entirely new game to be made, which, alas, takes time and money
I feel that if you want participation in these challenges, you should make unlisted challenges and tag the members of this on it, because I had no clue they were happening
@Jabuticaba23 no yeah you're fine! That's one of the reasons I accepted it XD
It works great! And I think its super cool!!!
.
Ooh, sick! I can't wait to see it!
.
Hey all good! I feel like the landing gear were quite nice! I will say, it was a tad bit bouncy though, like when I went on a carrier approach it would jiggle and make it a little difficult to connect, but other than that it was fine!
@Planebuilder2123 yeah lol 😂
Aleph Null is the smallest value of infinity, recognizing every possible cardinal number that we don't even know yet. So if you post that many planes, I will give you rhe same number of upvotes
Yeah, you're entirely right (no offense, of course). The plane looks meh, but I made this grading chart as a means of whether you can go towards specifications, and you did it! The grade was mostly that, which is now making me realize my grading scale is poorly reflecting this challenge. I think I'm going to make a new one that's more streamlined with like 3 sections that makes it easier for me to grade, and more accurate to take into account the specifications, but also make it harder/easier to get in the ranks and make the numbers more different from each other
Alright! Time for the grade! Sorry for the delay!
I'll put my reasonings and comments afterwards, but alas, here we are!
.
Speed: 6/10
Maneuver: 9/10
Realism: 15/15
Requirements: 23/30
Carrier: 15/15
Tactical: 10/10
Looks: 5/5
Opinion: 5/5 Total:88/100
Okay, I want to start off that this plane is super cool, it's very realistic to the era and I love the details and the creativity. The issues I had were that, for one, this plane did not meet the speed requirements, going a max of 350-ish knots at 20,000 feet, and closer to 300 at sea level, however, I will let this aircraft stay! I really liked flying it and its gorgeous! I can't wait to see your US aircraft. Also, I'm fine with you having decorative engines, but the main engine that produces thrust was 20,000 lbf, which is wayyyy over the allowed, but I'll let it slide because SP physics are weird and it feels realistic enough to me in this lol
Alrighty mate, here's the time for your grade!
As with everyone else, these are subject to change, and I will say why I graded it what way after the score
.
Speed: 7/10
Maneuver: 9/10
Realism: 13/15
Requirements: 25/30
Carrier: 15/15
Tactical: 10/10
Looks: 3.5/5
Opinion: 4/5 Total:86.5/100
@WinsWings Thank you for the advice! I appreciate it! Yeahhh I was confused on how to get the front seat lower as it already was a little low, and the back seat wouldn't have been able to go any more up. Thank you again!
@Jabuticaba23 yeah! Sorry, I've been a little overwhelmed with school but I'll get to it shortly! Hopefully tonight or more likely tomorrow, for real this time
@Minichiisan thank you!!
I can actually kinds see that! 😂😂
.
My bud, PapaKernels, and I talk a bunch and I redesigned it on paper, and used my drawing as the blueprint to follow. I deviated in some places, but hey!
Oh, yes, everything here is 100% correct. I play War Thunder, I'm actually working on my pilot's license irl, and I also have had enough experience researching air forces and dogfights that this is extraordinarily outdated
.
My biggest peev is that these missiles in movies and games can "home" on targets. Yes, missiles can maybe go like 5 or 10 degrees by the time they hit, but missiles do not aim for the target, they aim ahead of it, or behind it, for radar and infrared, respectively, and beyond that, they travel mach 5-10, in the time you can say "smoke in the air" from 5 miles away, you have already been hit and are either dead if it hits your radar, or knocked unconscious/pulling the ejection handle if it hits your engines, while also in a flatspin
.
This game can't really be redone in its state, they have to make a new game from the ground up to fix it, but hey, its a simple CAD, so you gotta give it some credit lol
I have another aircraft to grade as well, so I may be a minute, but I'll get to it ASAP. It's midnight where I am rn, so I'll probably get to it in ~12 hours
@Hiimakeplanes ding ding ding!
+1.
This is one of the later models though, the F.223.3, which had inline engines instead of radial!
@Anomalocaris nope! Really good guess though
@Hiimakeplanes yes... but do you know exactly which one? 🤔😂
+1.
Also, I don't feel like doing the tedious job of placing 50 50 lb bombs, so I'm doing 8 500 lb ones 😂
Hefty payload for an underpowered beast XD
Cyclones!? Those are an interesting choice. I'd love to see her done though! T!
Dear god these struts are hell
.
Also, two things:
1. Yes, I am actually posting this and not just teasing a never-completed build
2. T for tag!
You need more mass on the rotator and the parts of the landing gear, but before all of that, add mass to the wheels themselves, that usually helps!
@HuskyDynamics01 thanks mate!
+1Anyways, sorry 😂

This is an amazing plane!!
@ReinMcDeer "My name is Clyde Blackburn" Badass BF1 Music ensues
+2I asked ChatGPT to describe to me a unique air superiority aircraft and it gave me a really cool idea, but its not an image... is this okay?
Knife to meet you...

This is absolutely amazing, Andrew, but now begs the questions as to what development will do here :(

And thank you so much!!!
@WinsWings thank you!! Wahoo!!
+1You like?
@PapaKernels thank you so much bro!!
+1Damn, that thumbnail made me think it was a real photo and was going to ask why you stole a picture instead of taking a screenshot. Great job! 😂
+2@WinsWings thanks!! she's all posted and up!
+1@OrionIndustries no no you're fine!! I just wanted to help lol. Sorry, I came off more aggressive than I meant to be
+1Ope, you deleted your comment
@OrionIndustries fictitious are allowed, look under rule 6
+1But thank you dude!
@ZeroWithSlashedO I can't tell how to read this 😂

Either unamused, fascinated, or utter "what the ever loving f* am I looking at?"
Wanted to break the trend of the stupendous number of Rafales and Mirages, so here's a weird janky Soviet plane I designed lol. I hope you like it!

+1She's all done bro!!
@Rexzion
@Kangy

Here's a swept-wing for y'all. Is it good enough?
(Don't mind the auto-roll...)

Yeah, just Pitch + Roll in the control, and you can also do things like (Pitch/[enter number]) + Roll, to change how much they do!
+1@Jabuticaba23 ooh another entry!? Wahoo!!
+1.
All good! I don't mind either way lol. I was just messing with you. This is amazing!
