Btw the bend in the chassis changes the Caster or "tilt" of the suspension and is an adjustment I made to increase the handling not an oversight or flaw, it's there for a reason, I invite you to remove that curve and see if the vechile still handles well after it's straight.
@SkippyTheEngineer ye ye, it's a great truck, I still have it, but it does not look like that anymore, the body is way more beat up, currently it needs a new wheel bearing and one of the two 3s batteries I was using to run it on 6s got punctured and discharged without me knowing so currently it's out of commission but once I can get a new set of 3s batteries, which should be pretty soon I'll definitely be out bashing it again, it's really a fun truck, just needs swaybars.
This thing has some real potential in it, just gotta add the swaybars, for now enjoy the sillyness, everything about how it drives is so exaggerated, it's great.
@Blobfish21 ya, looking back on it it's not that impressive, it just seems to work, and boy oh boy did I brag about this, I think maybe making semi working swaybars got me a bit too excited about it, anyways ignore past me, my more recent uploads are not this bad... I really did just copy and paste the suspension 4 times and put a nose cone on it lol
It's been about two years since I posted this, I have come a long way, probably time to revisit it and redesign the suspension here to make a really well handling on road 8x8 vehicle of some sort.
Update, The body is coming along OK but it ain't going to look like a BMW I'm not good at body's but it will look ok, feel free to make a body of your own.
I went for the nostalgia move for this, I have built a classic style plane, I even still have the old propellers so I used them, it's got no top end but it doesn't slow while turning so likely far from a win but it's worth it for the memories that the sound of the old propeller engines alone brings back.
Oh also I went as far as adaptive downforce that opens at high speeds to let the car have less drag, which also, if you hit the breaks, comes back and gives you more traction as well as more drag to stop quicker.
@PiggyTnT Ya the only thing that annoys me is the fact that vechiles can be as simple as your vechile and still work incredibly well. My goal with my vechile, the G1 Racer, was to put complex stuff that's super realistic. Cantilever suspension and swaybars, on a 4 wheel, 4 engine chassis is realistic apart from the 4 engine~engine per wheel thing, but that's just SP for you. In racing IRL a brick with a bunch of wheels can't work, the track's too bumpy and the plus side to using auctual suspension is you can use the abality to soften the vechiles swaybars to get different handling characteristics and tune a vechile for a specific track etc, if the track in SP wasn't perfectly flat it would be a much more interesting and competitive thing to race on because, while here ok the track currently, all you need is a brick with very little drag, or some nuts thing like the super looper, but if eventually, more tracks or other car orientated slands are added, my vechile can get it's chance to shine as it is an extremely capable chassis, the suspension is impressive to say the least, but where suspension isn't needed as the game is RN, the suspension just becomes dead weight and drag that's just not needed for a fast time. All in all I'm happy with my realisim, but I have a question and that is how does your vechile handle off if the track, over bumps etc? My build, the G1 Racer, is incredible it just eats bumps and so far I've seen very few vechiles capable of doing what it can do, I think it's likely best described as versatile. Anyways I think I may just make a new on road chassis and see what I can do.
@Sadboye12 I suggest you check this out if you find this vechile impressive. This is my G1 Racer, it's my best handling car and it makes this silly on road Blazer look heavy and slow.
Because of this, your claim of your vechile handling way better, and it may but only slightly, I redesigned the truck and built an on road version with proper on road suspension, built to truely handle way better. It is stable at 240mph and is linked at the bottom here, it's nothing perfect, I've made much better for on road but I wanted to make the Blazer on road capable and I did, if you wish to try it out I strongly suggest it.
Disclaimer: It really doesn't drift btw it became more of a track car but if you really want to drift take it off road where it has no traction, drifting in this game is hard, it can be done, but this truck is not built for it, the name just stuck.
@Ventus thanks, I've kinda just had it sitting around so I decided I should probably upload it. All I had to do was finalize the AG's and set everything up properly, its a really good all around plane
Ok so I downloaded it and ya your swaybars don't work, notice how much your front suspension bounces, it's like there's no damping happening at all and ya the shocks don't even compress, your swaybars can't compress inward and thus hold the suspension as close to where it spawns as possible, your cantilever appears to work but the swaybar just keeps it locked in place. Genural rule of thumb is test the suspension first and see that it all moves the same when you add the sway's, and if you notice that your front wheels wheels camber in when the suspension appears to compress, it's a good sign that connections are flexing to absorb shock instead of the suspension flexing to absorb the shock. Basically it means something is connected where it shouldn't, or your sway bar has locked it all up.
On my G1 you'll see a similar effect but it's clear that the suspension is so stiff that the wheels bend some, the G1 also has a lot less bounce and you can see the cantilever's compress significantly so it's clear that my suspension system is fluid even with the swaybar.
Anyways I'll mess with your suspension some Monday and send it to you via private so you can see what I did.
So you took my body, ripped the chassis off, squished the body a bit and put some very strange suspension under it? You've defeated it's perpous, it's no longer a realistic vechile.
Yep thinking next thing is going to be a 4x4 bronco and then I'll build the 6x6, then I auctualy have one more idea for this vechile so I think I'll do the V3 4x4 blazer as well anyways thanks for the upvotes.
@Night6gamer It's a mod called "upload with screenshots" available for Android and PC, it must be used in tandem with another mod called "freecam" to work and it's really hard to do properly, just tap the 3 lines in the upper right corner of your screen and go to the stuffs section, or literally look up the SP mods, thier pretty helpful for getting cool eye catching shots for the workshop. I only started using them recently and it makes one hell of a difference.
@TrislandianAlliance that's the goal, dogfighting is really lacking realism in SP, and this fighter makes both the AI and Player have to really think about how thier next manover will better or lessen thier chances. What's cool is the AI can't really do this and thus you can eaisaly out pilot it, which is rather rare in SP, so I'm pretty happy with it.
If you know anything about how to properly dogfight, you will enjoy this aircrafts capabilitys, and the way it capture's the ideals of U.S. Nato Style, energy state, conscience, dogfighting.
I auctualy scaled this up and found out that basically you need some type of abality to keep the craft from drifting left or right and with the bigger version Being so heavy and using all the controlls for pitch roll and up and down it's not worth uploading, it's way too hard to fly.
@Rymanx03 I thought the draw on my phone would be bigger too, I think it boils down to the fact that only 155 of the parts are in he chassis the rest are fixed bits of the body so they don't need as much computing power? Anyways thanks, whole goal of this chassis is realisim.
@LiamW thanks, I build and test completely on mobile, I have pixle2 so I've survived well and manage to run lost everything I build pretty well but the game don't like leaf spring.
For some context to what I'm going through making the body, currently The version with the body has 520 parts, and this has 350 and all ready lags terribly, the version with the body is in the range of 3-10 fps.
Main improved thing is the front suspension, it now clears the wheels wells and no longer just combusts from impacts which cause it to compress fully, it's incredibly robust now, hopefully you'll like the improvements.
@LiamW yep, invencible when compressed, as in the compression can't break it yet, even though it shouldn't be able to stretch in the first place, they indeed break super eaisaly when stretched.
@TopCatTC ya slow motion is broken, it makes the shock piece stiffen significantly and can cause a lot of problems
I also put two other modded parts on there really for no reason but just to have them saved somewhere.
This is V2, I forgot to call it V2 lol
Btw the bend in the chassis changes the Caster or "tilt" of the suspension and is an adjustment I made to increase the handling not an oversight or flaw, it's there for a reason, I invite you to remove that curve and see if the vechile still handles well after it's straight.

If this game had force feed back and you could for instance control a car with a Sim Racing wheel it would be so cool.
The Best performing Bluga thus far, it is god of all propeller fighters
The Bluga-2 platform but with more things that explode, which isn't allways a good thing.
Update, The body is coming along OK but it ain't going to look like a BMW I'm not good at body's but it will look ok, feel free to make a body of your own.
@UltimatePlayer123 ah I see it now. NVM then.
@UltimatePlayer123 Idk, no idea if it's allowed, can't find anything that says it's not though so idk.

Oh btw one of the links works like a sway bar keeping the rear axle fairly level.
It deserves the M3 compition body I am building for it but for now, enjoy the chassis, it's great.

+1The quick release missle pods are super fun, try attacking the enemy base, the lasers can't stop all the missle's!

Chances are you haven't driven anything, with 264 parts, using only car engines, has a 0 to 60 of .3 seconds.
So you took my body, ripped the chassis off, squished the body a bit and put some very strange suspension under it? You've defeated it's perpous, it's no longer a realistic vechile.

This honestly was not that hard to build but the final product is just stunning, I'm very happy with it.

It is designed to do dogfighting right.
@Falcon17 ya, I've been all around the website but sadly no Android version so I can't use it.
I auctualy scaled this up and found out that basically you need some type of abality to keep the craft from drifting left or right and with the bigger version Being so heavy and using all the controlls for pitch roll and up and down it's not worth uploading, it's way too hard to fly.

@tylerdeveneuxmusic me too.
@tylerdeveneuxmusic I'm trying to make it look like this Red Bull truck.

@Lowryder I made a super scale realistic 1969 K5 Blazer you should check out, the suspension on it is incredible
@Lowryder ya, I tested a shorter version and it does work but you don't get as much compression out of it and it handles worse.
Main improved thing is the front suspension, it now clears the wheels wells and no longer just combusts from impacts which cause it to compress fully, it's incredibly robust now, hopefully you'll like the improvements.
@LiamW Thanks
@LiamW it is complete, I have uploaded the chassis, named
Rock Bouncer Project
@LiamW ok, I'll have it up tommorow morning if not in the next 30 or so minutes.
@LiamW ok want me to do that and upload it?
@LiamW yep, invencible when compressed, as in the compression can't break it yet, even though it shouldn't be able to stretch in the first place, they indeed break super eaisaly when stretched.
@LiamW I uploaded a suspension physics demonstration that kinda shows why suspension can be made practically invencible if done right.
@LiamW
