@V1PER5 sadly I believe there won't be a low part version with most of the detail in the cockpit since front seat itself is at 996 parts and the airframe is at 2300 parts, but I do hope to make a low part version without the cockpit and with little details
Please note the aircraft is far from finish the flight model is also not done but for now it works, and there are a few bugs with some of the codes such as the hud and vdi which will be fixed soon
.
Also huge thanks to @Krmo for recording the footage since its at 3600 parts
Part count doesn't really matter, although around 700 parts is mobile friendly, 800 parts is also mobile friendly even if the download button is yellow
.
Size matters a bit, if I make an aircraft 8x larger than 1:1 scale it lags a bit but in the designer it will lag a ton because of how big it is
.
Performance cost gets higher if you add more parts, fuselage pieces are 2.4, hinge rotators are 19.5 I think, the performance cost for a mobile friendly craft is I believe 4000-5000, other people might be able to handle more
.
Edit: as a previous comment the wheels does have a high performance cost, the labels not that much although if it has lots of codes in it it will lag the game a bit
Looks pretty good, although why is there only one of these theres supposed to be 2 of them one between the Pilot and RIO, unless your making a fictional variant
I like seeing a big number beside my name but I don't really care about points, I mostly play SP because its fun building something detailed and then seeing it get appreciated by a few people, plus it helps pass time
This one goes on the left (I think) Pitch + Roll
.
and this goes on the right Pitch + -Roll
.
If their inverted just switch them, but if your pitch is right but your roll is wrong then just change one of them by removing the - and put the - on the other hinge
I really like what you did with the nose, theres a lot of pretty good F-14's on the site that get the nose wrong (except for 2papi2chulo's and baconeggs's F-14) but this actually looks good
You could use -TAS>180 + AngleOfAttack/15 you put this on the activation group of one of the engines (I would put it on the left engine)
.
Edit: just read the entire forum I do not know how to make it stay like that for a minute
.
Edit 2: I think you don't really need a delay for the code since your still pulling high AoA while at low speeds since your in a flat spin
Fuselage wings (I don't hate them that much but their pretty difficult)
.
External detail (their quite difficult as well)
.
Interior detail (their quite fun, but making the switches/buttons function with custom inputs is difficult)
.
Landing gear doors/bays (their hard, but also easy if the aircraft has a flat surface for the doors)
.
Flight model (annoying because you have to go back and fourth in the level to make an aircrafts flight model close to the real one)
.
Afterburner (afterburners are mostly not visible in the day which is difficult to make in SP)
.
FT (Funky trees is hard)
.
Theres also a bunch of other stuff that is difficult or annoying in SP but I'm not gonna talk about them
I don't know if this is a bug or not but I made a cockpit that has a lot of buttons and switches and for some reason if I add more stuff the I cannot interact with the buttons and switches this is the craft that had the problems I had to remove a few stuff for it to work in this cockpit I can still interact with the switches and buttons but if I change something I then cannot interact with it this version is where I cannot interact with anything except joystick and other levers, it has been tested by PlaneFlightX and he told me that he as well was not able to interact with buttons/switches except for joystick
.
Also my previous bug report has been solved by WIZARD2017 although I haven't tested it yet
You go to the xml properties of the wing then click the very top that says "Part” then click this thing then you click the plus button at the bottom right here then add activationGroup on the left side like here then on the right you can add any input if you want activation groups then just add any number from 1 to 8
I just watch scenes from movies that have aircrafts that I want to build (example I wanna build a F-14 I watch scenes from top gun and I listen to music)
That actually looks very cool
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP thanks, btw the sound of landing gear when landing was in the game already a few months ago
T
@Winterfield I think so, its one of Krmo's map which he hasn't uploaded yet
That looks awesome, it even has rivets, nice paint job btw

Looks good, I suggest changing the wheels tho since those wheels look more for like modern jets
+1How did you manage to do that?

Nice
+1Try adding more weight to it
@AnderWorks hmm F-16?
+1Your making another tomcat?
+1Man, 23 hours and already at 213 upvotes
+6I don't get it
I may not like anime, but this is very cool

@Phox thanks, although i plan on redoing the wings
Hey your back, nice plane btw
+1@SpiritusRaptor no problem
+1Looks awesome
+1Very nice, you making the Kee Bird livery?
+1Yee
+1So its like a cluster bomb but its a missile, very cool

+2@ThatOneFurry per comment only 3 tags
+1T means "Tag” users say this on a teaser forum post when they want to be tagged on the finished build, you can only add 3 tagged users on a comment

@KDnotSpy ah ok
@natemomog I think its one of Krmo's mod maps that he didn't upload idk
@KDnotSpy oh, I didn't know that i thought their only removed in the B model
I just watch scenes from movies that have aircrafts that I want to build (example I wanna build a F-14 I watch scenes from top gun and I listen to music)
That F-22 looks amazing
+2So anyways where did you find this image?
