I think fictional aircraft inspired by real ones or ones that look very realistic also do quite well. That’s what I’ve noticed on my posts and those of others
@phrongus hey yes I do! I stopped uploading because I felt to much pressure from myself to make each craft look better and more detailed than the previous hahaha. Now I just make simple(ish) planes that fly very realistic so that I can play DCS on my iPad 😂
@KUBI hey friend! Of course I remember you! I’d be glad to check out your page. I’ve been on the SP website a lot more recently but I never stopped building. No promises but I’ll try to stay active again :)
Thought it would be easier to talk here :) I’m working on a B&V P208.1 at the moment but I also have an almost complete F-84G and Supermarine Type 553. I’m gonna finish all and then I also have a challenge that I think people are going to enjoy
@EngineerOtaku I’ve been collecting for 15 years. HobbyMaster is definitely a good one but often very pricey compared to similar models from other brands like corgi and herpa. You got any questions about collecting just let me know :)
Pretty good! It looks nice and you got it to be loud but the roll rate could really use an increase. The turn radius is also a bit too tight. Overall though I like it!
Also make sure that all the connections on each wing are the same. Sometimes when you mirror, it will connect a wing to more points and it causes it to roll
@SkylineAero the way I fix this is by not using the mirror aircraft feature. I only mirror a part to the other side and then manually attach it. When I do this I don’t have any problems with roll. Otherwise you have to check that the drag is equal on each side. Try removing one wing, copying the wing piece to the other side, and manually attach it to the exact same place the other wing is attached to. I know there is a more simple way to do it but I can’t remember it sadly
@Soviet I will tell you what is impressive: how much you can trash my very old design, yet you made something using the exact same (extremely outdated method) which can’t even go one quarter of the distance mine can. Plus mine looks somewhat like an actual plane, yours is just... well a blob of blocks. Disappointing that all you are is talk
This is a pretty cool looking aircraft! Flies pretty nice and is fun to use. A couple things could help though. This plane has an incredibly low stall speed but happens to need almost 400kmph to take off. This is because the rear wheels are very far back from the CoM. The CoL and CoM in general are very far forward. It would make sense to move them both rearward so that the CoM is closer to the landing gear. This would help a lot with having a more reasonable takeoff speed when the stall speed is taken into consideration. The next thing is small but the name doesn’t actually make sense. GR in the British military aircraft designation stands for ground attack and reconnaissance. If this aircraft were replacing the Lightning, it would need the designation F for fighter (also interceptor). If it were to be a fighter/ ground attack/ reconnaissance aircraft, it would need FGR and for just fighter and ground attack FGA. This is just a small detail though and overall it’s a brilliant build! Can’t wait to see more in the future!
Pretty neat job! Seems to be the first of this plane on SP too. The wing area does feel a bit small though (the actual wing parts, not the visual wing), but I can’t seem to find and info on the actual aircraft wing area. Nevertheless, great work!

+1@Anomalocaris I didn’t even know that plane proposal existed! It looks like it would have been a cool design
+1@IceCraftGaming hey thanks!
+1@Dragoranos I do but I also like to have cool flyable terrain and air to air combat
+1@phrongus would be so useful. Also parts wouldn’t accidentally randomly connect with other parts next to it
+1@phrongus hey yes I do! I stopped uploading because I felt to much pressure from myself to make each craft look better and more detailed than the previous hahaha. Now I just make simple(ish) planes that fly very realistic so that I can play DCS on my iPad 😂
+1@temporaryplanetester okay ill try this out. Thanks!
+1@AlbertanPlaneMaker oh of course! Why didn’t i think of that hmmm lol
+1Lovely work! You really make some excellent aircraft
+1@LEEEEEX I’ve played around with a few more of you AA builds and they are real fun! I think I’ve downloaded more of your creations than anyone else’s
+1Nice work!
+1@ThomasRoderick pretty sure that was his inspiration hahaha
+1@xNotDumb iPhone master race
+1@PriyanshuGM why don’t you do it?
+1Holy crap this is intense. Can’t wait to fry my computer trying it out!
+1@KUBI my god this is fantastic! Honestly one of the coolest looking realistic fictional aircraft I’ve seen on SP
+1@KUBI hey friend! Of course I remember you! I’d be glad to check out your page. I’ve been on the SP website a lot more recently but I never stopped building. No promises but I’ll try to stay active again :)
+1Poor Canadians
+1@Kangy haha no one said it. I just feel that way myself unfortunately. I’ll post a couple and tag you. I’ll also add you on discord 👌🏼
+1@spefyjerbf okay thanks!
+1I know this is old but do you know if fuel consumption goes up or down when you change the power multiplier on the engine?
+1I think you alone got me to platinum. Thank you so much my friend!
+1This is a fun one to fly!
+1@CommandPuppy2 lol I guess you don’t know how to fly then
+1I love your taste in aircraft!
+1This is great! Awesome build

+1@Kangy yup! That I am :)
+1This is really cool!
+1Absolutely beautiful! Looks right and flies great too

+1Nice! It’s like if the cavalier mustang somehow had a tolerance for infinite g force lol
+1@JuanNotAnAlt hey!

+1@IceCraft haha yes as the name says
+1I love the fuselage on this but the wing profile doesn’t seem to fit
+1The update I’ve been waiting for since the beginning
+1@PoomPoomTheCh980 2 MiGs is better than 1
+1@Inuyasha8215 now that is a nice number
+1This is really neat!
+1This is a beauty
+1Look pretty nice! It stallS a little fast but flies nicely overall. The rear of the central fuselage seems like it’s missing a piece though
+1@Soviet I will tell you what is impressive: how much you can trash my very old design, yet you made something using the exact same (extremely outdated method) which can’t even go one quarter of the distance mine can.
