That is one nice boat! The engine is a bit rough though, I made a really well running marine steam engine using stock parts that I’d love for you to use if you are going to continue with piston powered boats
I measured it with the side picture against the model of the Oscar 2 I got in the mail literally a couple hours ago, and the only thing that needs to be lengthened is the bow by a tiny bit, the flat area behind the tower by about 1/4, and the area just behind that by about the rudder’s length (rudder, not whole fin)
@MintLynx I had a similar problem with my airships, where I’d get the right height-length ratio and then look at it and it’s like super short even though it’s technically perfect. I actually flipped it upwards and got a different measurement for height (was length) then what it’s supposed to be. I think it’s caused by scaling up parts.
Now I just use fuselage blocks as a rough measure and eyeball it
Awesome! One thing though, it’s a bit... stubby? The Oscar ii had a hull height and length about the same as the delta 4, but a bit wider, this is more like the typhoon class.
@jelybaca actually, it’s part of a pleasurecraft series I have called AirCruise, and it’s livery is the white and blue seen across the wings and seats. I was wondering what ways I could implement that across the overly bare fuselage
Think of the motion like how a wave goes. Tilts up, goes up. Tilts down, goes down. It’s pretty complicated to make but it basically it’s the most realistic operating piston engine in the game
I’ll work on one tomorrow and post it. Basically it works like a weird mechanical Stirling engine. One rod pushes the back of the nozzle up so it can force them down, then the other pushes the nozzle to face up so it can pull both rods upwards, thus making spin
Well, I have a technique that uses VTOL nozzles that oscillate by two rods at a 90 degree eccentric of each other, but just that usually ends up being 40 feet tall
@EternalDarkness that’s great about the update! And yeah. I’m planning on finishing the projects I left over Christmas, I hope that will reignite my love of the game
Dude, I feel that. Everyone messes up sometimes and this community is so good it can feel like you hurt someone, but just know that nobody holds you in bad light unless you were an absolute ass
Also, @EternalDarkness dude, you gave me insane amounts of help and support. I cannot thank you enough and it’s great to see you, who’s been here much longer than me, still going strong
I suffer the same problem, I just make my airships 1/2 scale. Feel free to strip any part you feel off of mine
I cannot say enough how absolutely amazing this is, I just keep coming back
It doesn’t seem to work
Me
@EpicAerodynamics005 bacon grease... if my childhood memory is right
@robloxweponco works great on land, but not on water
@12705129 mnunya
@robloxweponco how does that work?
Oh no not again
@TheMachinist it should die. I need to make an updated one this one sucks
@DuckMint I’d pay 100%
Oh damm it’s the dank tank
@QingyuZhou I mistook yours for the Russian helicopter carrying _ meme
The return of the king
@MegaFox yeah, I still need to tweak it a bit but it should be... not done, but functional soon

Also, how did you make it turn?
Damm, you should make the ithaka shipwreck
Wait... how do you get the petals and the wheel to spin at the same time?
Holy shit!
@Thedarrens ?
It’s a bit fast
Damm
I destroyed the bridge with this
Wait... how did you get mobile beta?
Oh no
Cries in no mod support

Still fun as hell though
Oh man I’m pumped!
Damm, I’m going to make one of these about building airships
What map mod did you use?
What map mod did you use?
@Awsomur that’s exactly what I gathered from my previous interactions with him.
@Awsomur I think I share your opinion...
@Awsomur oh, I meant writing one for you to post
Dude, seriously
Wait, what happened? I keep hearing sled driver’s name but what’s so bad about it? I haven’t been here in 6 months
I’ll do an episode
@jelybaca actually, it’s part of a pleasurecraft series I have called AirCruise, and it’s livery is the white and blue seen across the wings and seats. I was wondering what ways I could implement that across the overly bare fuselage
@JakeSnakeMate ooh, all I can say is your gonna need a ton of nudge and maybe some scaled down parts
Think of the motion like how a wave goes. Tilts up, goes up. Tilts down, goes down. It’s pretty complicated to make but it basically it’s the most realistic operating piston engine in the game
@JakeSnakeMate oh shit, I gotta make it again.

@MintLynx thanks, I’ll defiantly use it!
Hey, are the scaled hull pieces scaled x 3? I’m in need of a x 3 scaled hollow fuselage block with no mass

@Diloph
I reversed the brackets so it wouldn’t go away, but like this:
