Well, I prefer a balance, but if I have to keep something, I will always opt for functionality(basically everything except design/colors and replica). I used to prefer versatility(mostly because I was lazy and didn't want to land on the runway :P), but my top two options, I would have to pick Speed and Maneuverability.
@General360 Who's been bullying you? If you say the mods, it's their job to make sure everything runs smoothly. They can seem like a bully at times, but they are trying to help the community in general. Seriously, destructive attitudes never help, ever. And when has anyone ever told you you suck? Nobody from all I've seen. You have no reason to leave, really. I'm still here, and I've been in a worse place than you in this community for the entire time I've been here, Eleven Months. If I gave up like you, I would have gave up more than 9 months ago.
I have to agree with this, all the way. Though also having more editing for the fuselage block would be nice(namely having 1/6's and 5/6's as a possibility)
This is actually a decent build. It's maneuverability is lacking, but otherwise, it's great, with it's high speed and decent looks. One thing though, add a description. It will help with people who aren't interested in finding out for themselves, as they don't like flying without instructions.
@Delphinus Agreed. I plan on doing it for all the new users I see, I need to be a bit more active in those terms, given I keep this tab open for this like 24/7, lol.
@Lolivier Actually, I joined around the time SP was still in it's beta stages(the beta before 1.0.0), and back then, the mere idea of points and ranks didn't exist yet. Ah, the good old days, where people were very collaborative(not to say it currently isn't), and was much less competitive. You gained popularity by building a good plane and sharing it on the sub-reddit, or, back when I first joined, a massive aircraft XD. One of my biggest builds at that time got over 5,000 downloads(don't remember exact number, it could even be 10,000 downloads) when the community was flooding with people coming into the game. I deleted it, mostly to test the delete feature added to the website. But that was probably the only time I was very popular. When the points system was added, I got left in the dust by everyone else, and I only very recently got silver.
@Oicraftian ...
You do realize the devs SPECIFICALLY STATED the propellers aren't realistic for a helicopter, right? Maybe if they added helicopter engines... but otherwise, yeah, what I said above in my last comment.
... Umm, we already have propeller engines. Do you mean-
Radial engines
V engines
X engines
W engines(yeah, going to stop listing these types, you get the general gist)
Electric motors
gas turbines(JK, that's just a jet engine geared for moving something like a tank)
etc
... That still doesn't explain when you said vertically, as none of those things have ANYTHING to do with vertical anything. Also, NACA doesn't work unless the wings were turned to a mesh design, and the devs already confirmed they are not adding mesh for the wings.
... That still doesn't explain anything. Unless you make the blocks hollow(IIRC, they are solid blocks), skin thickness... Doesn't matter.
... You said ABILITY to add hard points, not add editability to the hard points current IG. Phrase it correctly next time.
... You do realize those are simply HOW they necessarily do it. It doesn't mean anything for actual customization. Sure, it may change how they work slightly, but not by much. When you said customizable control system, I thought you meant like, IDK, actual control surface editing, not how they are controlled. Seriously, add details so people understand what you are asking for.
...
You do realize that a map editing feature is still nearly impossible, right? And it could also technically be considered illegal under apple's agreement. For one, the game is built in unity, which complicates building a map editor. Second, making a map editor within a game built for building aircraft is both pointless and wastes space on nearly unnecessary coding for a in game editor. And as said before, Apple could consider this a breach of the agreement and terms of service.
... Did you expect me to figure that out? You only said a small portion, you didn't specifically state it was in the wing editor.
... Still not the most useful thing in the world...
Read what I said above about the map^. And this will MOST DEFINATELY cause what is said above with apple.
Hmm... I have a few favorites. F-14 Tomcat jet engines in afterburner mode I think, but I like all jet engine sounds in general, mostly the ones which give off a big whining sound from the engines spooling up. And then there is a few others. But really, I like most engine sounds.
@Allstar Yeah, making a truly awesome plane is harder these days. People keep raising the bar, and the standard of 'good' is very high these days. Back when I first joined, this was considered good. Nowadays, you need something like this to even get a similar amount of points, especially if you are not well known in the community.
-Customizable landing gear, cockpits, engines, air intakes-
Already proposed by other people
-Limitless prop sizes-
... How about no! TBH, limitless prop diameter is completely and utterly pointless. Most aircraft don't have very large props, so the range they have currently usually suffice(Ok, I do agree they need a higher limit, but not much bigger, and limitless is beyond stupid.)
-Limitless powerplants-
Number, or size? IIRC, number is already unlimited.
-allowed to be place an engine block-
Which kind of engine?
-Customizable jet engines-
Already proposed...
-Customizable wings(vertically)-
?
-Reduced landing gear mass-
^
-ability to change skin thickness-
What?
-Ability to add hard points to an aircraft-
Dude, that's been a feature since day one. PYLONS. Though more variety is needed, I will give you that one.
-Customizable control system-
Since when do you need to customize controls? If you mean different buttons, look into the settings. If you mean something else, why are you asking?
-Customizable air brakes-
I think that was proposed already.
-underwater running engines-
... Since when did aircraft have this capability?
-Customizable map-
Already done with modding on Android and PC. If you mean add-on maps, they would have to be made by Jundroo. And if you want it on iOS or OS X, your out of luck, due to apple's policies(unless, again, the devs design it themselves).
-Wing dihedral editing-
Umm, the current one is fine, but mobile users wouldn't be able to use the one you are proposing. There is this thing called Needing a physical, non-touchscreen keyboard.
-Aircraft scale change-
Seriously? Ok, I can see it possibly for smaller things, but bigger scales? If you need a bigger scale, build a bigger plane! Duh!
-customizable USS Tiny-
Again, that requires modding, which apple doesn't allow.
Good job, and no major spelling errors. But just a point to make with the CoM. The center of mass is NOT the heaviest part of the plane. It is actually the point where, if you put it on a fulcrum(or point, really), the plane is perfectly balanced and will not tip over unless force is applied. Which is why CoT needs to be really lined up with the CoM, because the thrust from VTOL is like that fulcrum, but it's a force upwards rather than an object. The distance between the horizontal stabilizers(or whatever control surface you have) and the CoM dictates maximum turning rate, more or less.
@General360 Actually, the Americans were decent compared to the british, but yeah, the main players were Germany and russia... But we all saw how THAT ended(AKA Germany beat by americans and russians). The USA came out top on where they sat at the end of the war though.
I was going to have my YF-23 going beside a cart, but I still need to fix the issues with it's handling before I do so(need to make it less explodey with the V-tail controls)...
@PuhBuhGuh Those are turbochargers, which takes exhaust air to spool up, which then pulls more air into the engine. A supercharger is directly linked to the crankshaft of the engine, which means the super charger depends more on the RPM of the crankshaft than the exhaust air of the engine. And actually, super chargers often could cause the engine issues at low altitudes due to their use to GIVE more air at high altitudes, which is why some aircraft have to be down throttled to prevent the engine from stalling(or whatever it did), and some even were designed to detach the super charger at low altitudes.
This isn't even a good writing. For one, your title is extremely misleading. It has nothing to do with the discovery of electricity. It's also poorly constructed at the beginning.
K. I might join, after I figure out what to make, XD.
limit for number of planes?
Also, end date?
Macbook Air 11" 2013
1.3 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB;
iPad mini 1st gen
stock from the store;
Planned gaming PC
Link to PC part picker page with the layout
Unfortantly, that is, and will remain, impossible(unless apple changes it's policies, which is doubtful)
0!
30 seconds!
2 Minutes!
4 minutes!
9 minutes!
@TheLatentImage Indeed.
@TheLatentImage I already know as well(kinda told @Tribaldragon1), from... Well...
@Kevpilot I'm not british... Unless you mean someone else.
1 hour left. HYPE!

Can't wait...
@Delphinus Thanks! Haven't really worked too much with aircraft like this, so it's not the best.
@Tribaldragon1 der you go
could use a wider suspension and a bit more fuel, otherwise it's pretty good.
@Tribaldragon1
@Tribal- Delete the comment on the you know what thread.
I'm also going to be working on some new aircraft to be uploaded, a ADFX-01/02 Morgon to be specific. Maybe a review on that when I'm finished?
@Viper28 How about my https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/dbW7nW/Northrop-YF-23-Black-Widow-II ?

(hehehe)

@yeolde1rishman Not really, as what he is proposing doesn't have a text field, which is REQUIRED to have a touchscreen keyboard be usable.

+3@Astron1 Actually, a lot of planes become easier, including, but not limited to(not sure about Sabre...)...
P-80 Shooting star
de Havilland DH.100 Vampire
Airacomet
A few passenger jets with intakes on other areas
@General360 Actually, the Americans were decent compared to the british, but yeah, the main players were Germany and russia... But we all saw how THAT ended(AKA Germany beat by americans and russians). The USA came out top on where they sat at the end of the war though.
@RABpilot Indeed. Also got silver today. That happens.
And of course, the aircraft decides to misbehave AFTER I'm finished with it... It wants to roll to the left a lot.
@Allstar No, he just hasn't been active for the past... idk, 10 months?
@AeroEngineering I figured as much, it was mostly for show anyway.
I just finished mine...
@Chesscube Saw. And yay, silver!(well, doesn't show it yet, but it'll happen :) )
@Chesscube No, it's called dropping a torpedo with fuel in it :)
Already destroyed it.
I was going to have my YF-23 going beside a cart, but I still need to fix the issues with it's handling before I do so(need to make it less explodey with the V-tail controls)...
