Here in Western Romania (not far away from the border with Hungary) I can sometimes hear cargo planes flying over my house. Judging from their angling, most of them have probably taken off minutes before.
Sadly, they aren't that big and they have propeller engines :(
@ThePrototype Hmm, I really should get started on a new designer.
Wanna try some super duper kewl erosion techniques.
Sorry for taking this long to make it @jamesPLANESii . School gets in the way quite a lot :/
@squideater56 The health attribute gives you the option to make indestructible pieces. Doesn't matter what kind of piece it is. It works for anything.
This way, you get to 100 pieces. Although there's really no need for a second layer of armoring.
@marcox43 Why don't you simply mount the turret on a rotator? So much easier. You only gotta tweak some blocks around and add a damperMultiplier to the rotator. The only thing that needs stabilisation is the gun.
Now, you entered the challenge with this tank so, sadly, I can't rate whatever updated variant of this you will upload. Still though, you should upgrade it more for yourself.
@squideater56 You used 810 pieces for what could've been built in little over 50...
Structural integrity can be achieved with fuselages too. Also, I don't care much whether you're on mobile or anything else.
Functionality: 8/10. I was surprised to see that it hides some really neat features. Other than its unrealistic speed, I've got nothing to complain about. Visual: 6/10. I'll be honest, you really could've done more. In its current state, it looks too average. I think this is the only entry that I myself will try to build. Of course, it's gonna be my own O-I. Quality: 3/5. Again, you could've done better. Impression: 4/5. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Again, I wasn't even expecting it to be this good.
Frankly, this qualifies for the Bonus: 2.5 points.
Functionality: 9.5/10. So far the only truly functional tank. I wish it had a tad few more shells, though :( Visual: 9.5/10. Just a very small bit of detail that you could've added and you would've easily gotten 10. Quality: 5/5. No comment here. Impression: 5/5. Exactly the way I like a tank to be. I can see you put effort into this. Even more so when I saw you built this on iOS. Kudos for this o7
Undoubtedly, this qualifies for the Bonus: 4/5.
Functionality: 6/10. Seriously, this thing has a big problem with overrolling and excessive speed. Visual: 6.5/10. I like how you've used pieces from other build. You know, I myself place a high emphasis on what's called originality. I see some things like the cupolas and the main gun are taken from some of my builds and haven't been modified much. When entering a competition, if I were you, I'd actually spend time and come up with my own design rather than simply copy-pasting from someone else's build. The gun, for instance. You could've improved upon my design but you chose not to. Quality: 2/5. Like some other entries, this seems like a rushed build. Impression: 2/5. You really could've done more than this. I see it resembles the Kranvagn from Sweden a lot. Ever heard about the deal France was about to make with Germany regarding AMX 50B's? Yes, France actually planned on splitting its AMX 50 production with Germany. They even let them use their own armament if they wanted to. You could've exploited this and made this tank a cooperation between Sweden and Germany. But nah, you took the easier route of making this a Rheinmetall design and that was it.
Functionality: 8/10. Nothing to complain about but it seems like it lacks something. Yep, you guessed it, you added just one shell to the main gun. Visual: 6.5/10. I like its semi-futurisitc looks but it's like average and good at the same time. Mediocre would be an exaggeration. Quality: 3/5. Nothing major to complain about. You could've used fewer pieces for that rear radiator, though. Impression: 3/5. Doesn't stand out much from the crowd. Its story is... good, I guess? Not much else.
Bonus: hmm, I think a 1.5 is more than fair for it.
Functionality: 6/10. Seems to function just right but, like some previous entries, if I try depressing the gun, it explodes. Also, the shells fly kinda slow for this kind of a gun. Also, it sucks at offroading. Visual: 8/10. Looks slightly above good. That height-to-width ratio, though... Quality: 3/5. This actually has the potential of being better. Seems like you rushed it, didn't you? Impression: 2/5. Nothing that special about it other than the looks which are unique so far.
Functionality: 6/10. I like that the gun is stabilized but what about the turret? I can't move it at all. Visual: 7.5/10. Looks good. I like the interior. All in all, though, its exterior lets it down a lot.
Quality: 2.5/5. This could've been a lot better. Especially its turret and gun stabilisation.
Impression: 2/5. I was actually hyped after reading its description. But once I tested it, all that hype disappeared. A foul taste of mild disappointment replaced it soon after.
Functionality: should I go harsh or gentle on this? Hmmm, think I'll go in-between. 6.5/10. I don't think a Renault FT was supposed to go over 50 mph. Also, its cross-country capabilities are limited. Aaaaaand it also uses the default control scheme. Visual: 8.5/10. I like that it has a semi-working interior but it's useless. There's no camera inside so I can't see what's in the cabin. Also, why are there no decals on it? Quality: 3/5. I'm more than sure that a few things you did could've been simplified and made better. Especially the tracks. Accuracy: 3.5/10. It's, so far, the only replica I've seen which kinda makes it special. Thing is, for such a tank that revolutionized warfare, you did a sort of mediocre job at recreating its "wow" factor. It does look and behave much like the real thing (except for a few things here and there).
Bonus: for being the first replica I've rated so far, you get 1. For being an acceptable replica, you get a 0.5. For also being a WW1 tank (which I haven't seen that many around), you get a 0.(3). And for being a kinda cute tank, you get a 0.(6). So this makes it a grand total of... 2.5
Functionality: 7/10. Woah, first truly functional build so far. I really like it. Its weaponry is a bit overkill but I'll go over that. Cruises around nicely. Oh, and I like that radar antenna :)
Visual: 8/10. Unusual. And I really mean unusual. It screams, it looks and it works in an unusual manner.
Quality: 3.5/5. You did a good job at using as few pieces as possible. I can see you worked on this quite a bit.
Impression: 4/5. Pretty self explanatory I think :)
And holy moly, it's also the first build that qualifies for the bonus. All in all, I think it deserves an honorable 2/5.
Functionality: 7/10. Doesn't cross borders head on. Also, its control scheme is not that good. Gun depresses too much for being mounted that high up. Good thing it's a bomb cannon. I like that.
Visual: 6/10. Pretty average. Nothing that special about it. Quality: 2/5. Pretty meh. It's supposed to be good at offroading and hill climbing but it kinda isn't. Again, it's average.
Impression: 2/5. Other than its unusual design, it didn't impress me all that much.
While you did meet the minimum part count requirement, it's pretty clear to me that you used blocks on purpose just for that. Other than visuals, this thing is really, really bad. I simply refuse to rate this due to the score that it could get being too low to even talk about.
Functionality: 6/10. It seems fine but once I start shooting, the tank goes boom instead of its target. That's because the rear turret is pointed right towards the main one. Thank God you made it toggable. For a behemoth of this size, it moves too fast. Really, a KV-6 going well over 100 mph? That's overkill.
Visual: 6/10. I like the armor edges. Other than that, it's pretty simple. Nothing too special.
Quality: 3/5. Meh, could've been a lot better.
Impression: 3/5. I think it's among the very few KV-6s on the website. I've never seen one myself until now. Even so, it could've been a lot better.
This does not qualify for the bonus.
Erhm... yeah, I'm no charity here. While you did meet the minimum part count requirement, it's pretty clear to me that you used blocks on purpose just for that. Other than visuals, this thing is really, really bad. I simply refuse to rate this due to the score that it could get being too low to even talk about.
Functionality: 5/10. Really, just two projectiles? Also, it overrolls and not to mention its speed... uh, general mess. For a thing supposed to be based on the Maus, this cruises around at over 100 mph. Oh, and the control scheme does not allow you to go backwards. Also, gun cannot point down :/ Visual: 6/10. Way too simplistic. Quality: 1.5/5. Wasn't expecting it to be this bad. Impression: 1/5. Very average quality. Doesn't stand out much. Just a mediocre build.
Pretty clear by now that it does not qualify for the bonus.
Looks quite cool but, eh... I see this trend on most of your tanks. They look like squashed pancakes. You seen pancakes, right? (Duh, what a question xd) They're as flat as the Minecraft preset could get. Now, think of something even flatter and you (sadly) get your tanks.
Try and make your tanks proportional. Ever heard of the Gold Number? Use the small one (around 0.61) as a multiplier for one of the proportions. So, for instance, if the width was 3 meters, then the length could be made around *3 + 3 × 0.61 *. Same goes for height.
It's a trick I use without even putting effort into it. It's simply something natural that I do out of reflex. And I'm sure you too can get used to it :)
It's the last place I'm expecting politics to be present around. While I'm not the type of guy that hates talking about them (only thing I hate talking about, really, is emotional matters), I like it when I visit a clean and tidy place. Politics would only be another subject that could start another fight anytime. And I'm being honest now. Take it as friendly advice :)
Happy Burfday!

I like the dark theme.
Y u no dark thime on espeee vebsaite? :(
Mein Gott...
Ahh, the tilted gray photos... :)
For some reason I like the photos of it. Idk, the perspective seems a bit unusual. It may be the proportions or anything...
Anyways, good job on it!

@BogdanX To qualify for the bonus, you must get at least 20 points which this thing doesn't. So,
Total: 15.
@squideater56 I'll let @BogdanX take care of this specific entry. He's willing to do it so I'll let him do so.

@Baldeagle086 Working on them. Should be up the next weekend.
Months later and this is still the best KV-2 on the website :)
@ForeverPie How dare you xd
Somehow, my technique for screenshots is becoming popular. Really didn't expect that :)
@jamesPLANESii In about a month I should be done with school (winter holiday). I think that's when I will start working on it.
I like that you put my designer to good use. Not particularly fond of the plane but, again, I like seeing my stuff used :)
It has under 200 parts.
Mauser C96/M712 ripoff?
Ahh, the ol' man o' war, Windows XP!
I still have it on my old computer. It's been 3 years (soon to be 4) since support for it was cut.
@Pilotmario Oooh. OOOOOOH.
