Interesting, love the tail and how it performs in a realistic way. I just don't get it how's that possible in SP. The plane is unrealistically slow to roll and it could be speedier, too
Does the big boom have to travel also, or will any vehicle do? Is it mandatory to travel by road or can you fly? Sadly the car and trailer combo posted here was too laggy on my pad. But a fun challenge anyway.
What an amazing propeller! However, I prefer some color on the upper deck so I painted it green. Don't know about authenticity but some color there makes It easier to orient yourself in the camera views.
Just an idea, maybe you could make another plane with "less severe" emergency situations? Like losing one one the ailerons, losing power from engine(s) (by jettisoning a fuel tank?)... anything that makes flying difficult but not impossible to land safely.
Had fun flying around, shooting down planes. Ran out of fuel before running out of missiles. Was forced to make an emergency landing. Chose a spot on a canyon road. Came down high and fast, passed the touchdown point, and was caught by surprise by a truck convoy approaching behind a small hill! Crashed but took three of the trucks with me. Phew.
How did you even come up with an idea to build an artificial horizon? I see you used a forward-facing jet engine and a tilted cockpit block, but still I don't see how it really works...
Really sweet. Has a tendency of sporadically losing one or more engines in flight, though. I lost engines 1 and 4 while climbing at 4000 ft from Yeager. I dropped the payload continued with a right turn towards Smuggler's where I made a soft emergency landing. Some AI planes were trying to toast me on final, but they both missed me (one of them was making vertical dives in front of me).
Yes, using an ipad so IOS it is. Thanks for the explanation. @Smoker

Simply. Beautiful! What do we need stock control surfaces for?
I wonder what causes the rolling. It rolls to the right when pulling nose up, left when pushing down. I fixed it by mirroring the whole plane.
It's so huge it has it's own gravity and that gravity sucks my poor pad into void. Rats. But it looks good.
@Zandgard I did some experimenting with sort of torpedoes a while back. This was the result:

Takes some trial and error to hit the USS Jundroo with a torpedo, eh?
How did you manage to take the first "ghost" picture?
Good suspension. However, I replaced the diy tires with stock ones. A looot smoother.
I'm in!
Looks like a Lamborghini on water.
Thanks, nice to hear you liked the concept! @jfriss
Um, the right front wheel wasn't turning until I edited the angle myself. What a beast it is, looks good!
What a perfect challenge for me! Uploaded mine.

Wow, too bad I can't download.
Yeah poooo!
Nice one!
A cool plane! I wish the cockpit view was a bit more unobstructed, though.
Flies nicely. ;)

Very fast and doesn't understeer but maybe a bit too difficult to steer on an ipad. Or it may just be me...
Look at all those tiny parts scattered around after a catastrophic engine failure on takeoff!
What a plane, what a description!
Nice work!
Nice!

Cool details! A bit slow on my ipad.
Um, but it fails to destroy the bridge?
Wizardry that us ios users can only dream of. Rats.
The boom is a special one! Works on an ipad but is laggy.

Amazing
I like the suspension design and the instrument cluster is a nice touch!
Beautiful and detailed!
Yup.@anssi
Put the potato into a portal gun, please?
Wow!
I'm using high physics setting on a iPad Air 2@Sajab_Aerospace
There is no free glitch energy. It all comes at a price at the end... or maybe not. But this is cool anyway.
This craft is a perfect example of how bad SP is in simulating rotating wing aircrafts. :)
I like the idea!
Wow, never seen bridge fragments fly like that!
Wow. So fast and still so agile!
Can't say I wasn't warned. :P
White tires?
Looks like we need jpg images for liveries in SP, to make planes like this mobile friendly.
