I don’t know if the gif works but I’m trying to use a pid controller to make an autopilot of sorts but so far it just makes the aircraft porpoise violently so if anyone has any suggestions please help
Save what you want to descale as a sub assembly, start a new build, add the sub assembly, open fine tuner and uncheck the box that says “scale only selected parts” then scale it and it should stay as one part
The high part count is purely because this build was a test of both myself and my iPad and I’ll take into account what you’ve said, thank you @ChiChiWerx
Use the one for the dorsal gun, I know you can’t really see underneath but it gives another usability to see and has the same pitch and traverse range @Bob9998

@brians1209 so do you want the rotator to start moving at 305ms and then continue to rotate with an ark of 15° but still allow a pitch control?
If so then I would use the formula:
Pitch + IAS>305 ? clamp01((IAS-305)/x)
X=range in speed you want the rotator to move in
Set the range of the rotator to 15 and divide the pitch control if you want it to move less
What exactly do you want the rotator to do, I can help but I’ll need to know the numbers
@ChrisPy have a guide with either perspective points and lines or have an image to trace to begin with and work it up from that

@spefyjerbf it’s an auto gyro so the main rotor is unpowered so there’s no torque acting on the craft
