Another input which would track the distance from the terrain in front of the plane (similar to AltitudeAGL) could be written as TerrainDistance([angle]) this would allow for more accurate bomb sighting, terrain following etc.
I have a suspicion that the devs are working on another game at the moment but is suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.
But honestly it will be sad to leave the original simpleplanes for good.
The reason I think this is mostly because of this forum post and the fact that all the active devs seem to have upvoted it
I agree, I’ve seen a few players (not naming names) who I personally think lack skill or talent but still seem to be platinum due to posting a lot (particularly on forums) I think people also too often confused constructive criticism for bullying or people trying to insult them. Yes I know there are new players who get to platinum quickly because they make an amazing build or positively contribute in another way, but there are also some who post lots of forums and low quality builds and only get a couple upvotes on each but they’re posted too rapidly that it builds up. Then I think people criticise them, so other people give them upvotes out of sympathy and it cycles like that. Sorry about the rant.
The propeller is spinning at about 780 rpm and the frame rate is 60 FPS so you only see the propeller at the same position making it look like it isn’t moving @FlyingPatriot
@brians1209 @Jwpdaviesjr I’m going to upload it with the next version of the beta because there are some quite serious bugs with particle effects which will be fixed by then
@Kaos was going to but it’s so heavy it barely flies anyway. I’m going to make an improved one and one that just drops 20 250lb bombs if you’re interested
Those upvotes are looking a little sus…
