I really need some sleep. I've been working at this plane for over six hour straight, it's currently 05:40 in the morning, and I've had no breaks. Arrgghh!
I have entered an aircraft, but I'm focusing more on my replica series currently. I'm in the process of building a MiG-25R "Foxbat B", which is the reconnaissance variant.
I had to edit the high altitude photos for there to be any discernible detail. The black and white is part of that editing process. I made them black and white, since I believe that the real U-2 also takes photos in black and white. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks! The NASA logo on the tail turned out far better than expected. I think that the NASA colour scheme looks great on a number of different planes. @GINGER01
I build my planes on both my Android smartphone and my iPad. I use the iPad to create the general structure, then send it to my phone for cosmetic and performance tweaking and enhancements with Fine Tuner and Overload, then send it back to my iPad for testing. Designs go back and forth a lot, and I only upload them when I'm happy with my work. The final design is submitted from the iPad usually, since that's where I do my final testing. @randomusername
Speaking of high altitude flight, I used this plane to conduct a flypast of Krakabloa and Snowstone at 100,000ft. But at that altitude there's not much control. 75-85k is more practical.
I think that this might have something to do with angle of attack of the wing (I tweaked the angle of the wing in fine tuner on my android phone) Once up at higher altitudes the problem mostly goes away. It's really optimised for high altitude flight more than anything else. @BogdanX @ChiChiWerx
Thanks! :) @BaconRoll
I should make a MiG-25 RU trainer version next.

Because it's a Cold War jet, it might need heating up.

I'm thinking of a recon version, to go with my U-2 and (hopefully) an SR-71. @F104Deathtrap

Yeah, I know about the F-104 and the U-2's similarities. That's why I decided to build this as well.

I take it that modifying things to activate on Landing gear is prohibited? @AndrewGarrison
Ok thanks for clearing that up. Don't want to violate any rules.
