@epicaiden, adjust your graphics settings if planes lag on your device. This planes (and all my planes) was built on an iPad and it worked just fine. What generation iPad are you using?
Pretty fun to climb the mountains with. One suggestion though, in your next one, put some air brakes on it so it can come to a stop easier. Good build!
@planelover400, I'm working on her right now. I'm about 60% done and perfected the sweep wings. If I don't run into any more hassles, I'll probably get it out by tonight.
@dragoncreations Practice makes perfect, my man. Water landings are a difficult maneuver to perform. You don't want to enter completely level and even, you need to keep the nose up slightly to prevent a roll over. And when you've made contact, keep holding the stick back until you've slowed down significantly. And I'm sorry to disagree with you, but I must say this is among my best craft. Thanks for giving her a go, though!
@jacobhardy64, landing and take off are tricky. You gotta hold the stick back for both. When landing, don't hit the water until you're below 140 MPH. There's a better explanation in the description.
Glad you enjoy it!
Like you said the cannon was the focus so I'll start with that. You don't need two detachers for each dummy. I tested it using just one and they flew just as far as when using two detachers. The dummies don't make great projectiles because they slow down very quickly. This is actually pretty fun because now you have to try to avoid a midair collision (or not and just watch the fireworks lol). You said the plane was just a means of testing the cannon but it's a pretty decent plane. One thing to remember though is that once you fire you dummy missiles, the center of mass shifts towards the rear and in this plane that means it moves behind the center of lift. That's why you lose control of the plane after you've shot all missiles.
@geebers, I might retrofit some of my earlier bombers with working bomb bay doors. I will definitely do a Sabre remake now that I've learned new building strategies.
@ahiredgun, yeah do whatever you want to it to make it work, I don't mind at all. Try taking the little wing tips off the 'bombs', that might help the lag issue. They're just cosmetic pieces anyway. Also, I made the nose cone so you can paint the top and bottom half separate, try making the glass nose version.
I think I might cave and finally make one too. There's thousands on here, but this is the best f-22 I've come across! And using a cone piece as a bubble canopy is very clever, I might have to steal that idea.
@allstarship, thanks bud! I hope you enjoy the plane as well though haha. And 9 times outta 10 you're right with calling out vote rigging alt accounts, but I assure you @Geebers ain't me. (If that's what you meant by that previous comment, I was a little confused)
@geebers, that's some precognition stuff right there haha. And thanks! I tried to get the props to spin without the use of VTOL nozzles but nothing I tried worked...oh well. But I really like how the bomb bay turned out.
@ahiredgun, here it is, bud. Thanks for the recommendation. I know you wanted the black and red look, but the black paint masked some of the details.
Just remember to open the Bomb bay doors before you drop the payload!
@ahiredgun, sorry I didn't get the a-26 out by when I said. It'll definitely be done today. I can't decide on a paint job though. Do you want it black with red accents, or silver with the olive green details?
@planelover400, my plan was to mod my f-111 with the we pieces in the update. Unfortunately what I had in mind didn't work and I'm gonna have to redo a lot of it. I'll finish by the weekend.
@ElijtheGeat, I just downloaded it to my iPhone and then it said the update was available. So I guess try again and reopen the App Store to grab the update.
@ahiredgun, I'll try to get it out tonight!
@ahiredgun, I got a whole hanger of planes just waiting to be detailed in the update and then uploaded. I don't see it in the App Store though. You on a phone or iPad?
@ahiredgun, yeah man go for it. I don't mind people modding my planes, I actually encourage it. @planelover400, I was hoping the update would be out for iOS by now but it's not. I'll finish it when I get the update.
Hey man, this is very nicely done. I made some cosmetic adjustments and fixed the CoL so it doesn't roll to the left all the time. I can upload it so you can get it, then I'll delete it.
@timinator1400, it's actually just the regular longnose cone that I clipped inside of some canopies. In a couple of days the update should be out for us (iOS users) and it comes with resize able nose cones.
I was just rating your previous upload but I guess you just deleted it. Anyway, love your choppers! I got a few I'm holding onto until the update drops. Keep it up!
Well it certainly looks cool and damn near like the real deal. But unfortunately it's just too much for my tablet to handle... Shame, its my favorite attack chopper.
Pretty damn clever! I like the idea of different payloads. Stable vtol and easy to maintain balance with rcn's, but it could use a little more thrust when in flight mode to avoid stalls and spins.
Pretty good, doesn't handle great, but looks nice. How did you get those wing pieces that make up the tail fuselage rotated at 45 degrees? I'm stumped...
I'll make an attempt at a sparrowhawk after I finish some current projects. It might not turn out looking all that good because the in game propeller pieces are pretty small.
And the USS Akron? I'll leave the zeppelin R&D to Katrina.

Man I wish I had adjustable cone pieces and the rotator blocks when I was building my earlier planes. The wing gear design is perfect. Good job!
@notapier, I've had a lot of requests lately but I'd love to build an Axis heavy bomber. It just might be a little while.

@geebers
@planelover400, I'll have the aardvark out this weekend. Hopefully tomorrow.

Very nice. A bit clunky but it's awesome.
@geebers, oh and to be honest the p-80 looks a little bland so I probably won't make one, but I got plans for a A6M2 build.

Solid plane, right here

Ok we're good to go.

Can't wait to try this out.
@Nassassin, thanks bud! I'll always remember you as the one who got me there
I'm rocking iOS so I can't fly this yet. But I am really liking the look of that wedged underbelly on a seaplane.
@planelover400, I plan on building one as soon as the update comes to iOS
For you @planelover400
I was just rating your previous upload but I guess you just deleted it. Anyway, love your choppers! I got a few I'm holding onto until the update drops. Keep it up!
@elijthegreat, you mean like a decommissioned f-14? How cool.
@ahiredgun, I got multiple projects in the works now but I'll take a crack at an invader
I'm very impressed. This is the most clever and original concept in the game, hands down.
Well it certainly looks cool and damn near like the real deal. But unfortunately it's just too much for my tablet to handle... Shame, its my favorite attack chopper.
Oh I see, I only have the game on mobile and don't know anything about programming/coding. I made sub assemblies of them though, thanks.
P.s. It doesn't lag at all on my iPad at full settings.
Thanks everyone! Planelover400, I'll try my hand at making a thud. I definitely caught the early Cold War era bug.
Ha, the fuel truck is very clever.
Allstarship, it's a structural stability bug that occurs occasionally on low settings.
I'll make an attempt at a sparrowhawk after I finish some current projects. It might not turn out looking all that good because the in game propeller pieces are pretty small. And the USS Akron? I'll leave the zeppelin R&D to Katrina.
Benplays, I got a lot on my plate at the moment but I'll try to build a B-24 (or a B-25). I'll most likely get to it by the weekend.
Thanks man. I'll look into those. I'm currently making an F-4 Phantom II with great performance as the primary focus. Much like my F/A-18.
Hey thanks, man. Can you explain what's going wrong for you on take off? It is fine for me at every kind of setting. What device are you using?
