IAS is your calling card for controllability. IAS stands for Indicated Air Speed, but its very good at standardizing the rate of control ingame. 200kts IAS at 2000ft is equal in controlling to 200kts IAS at 10000ft.
You need a smooth system inside a floor or ceiling modifier:
ceil(smooth(LandingGear,.5))
and floor(smooth(LandingGear,.5).
Floor and ceiling round down and up respectively, all the way up to .999 for floor, and all the way down at .001 for ceiling. This is to make sure timing works for things, and is useful in other things, like digital timers.
Of course, the doors should use the ceiling modifier, and the gear itself should use floor. I'd do it myself, but I'm at school.
Apparently the narrator of the game (Andrew or otherwise) has an ulterior motive, Ice Base is part of a long term war, and the carriers are of the opposite faction of the Ice Base. oh, and somethings in the pyramid, hover in it.
@Inuyasha8215 Yeah ships really only benefit from cannons. Tanks too. Aircraft, IMHO, do too. Cannons just have a better range of damage options and capability.
@xNotDumb Spread isn't necessary as you get closer to the further end of aircraft ordnance. Most modern, even cold war rotary cannons are nothing like the minigun in game. Not only that but the 'spread' value makes absolutely no sense.

ImpactDamageScale lets you do that. Guns in the game are designed for dogfights, but really in a superficial "ignoring gravity and energy" sort of way. the "bullets" HAVE NO MASS, are UNLIMITED BY DEFAULT, and are INHERENTLY UNREALISTIC.
@beenz ImpactDamageScalar works to be easier to edit as opposed to the damage model the real issue is impactforce, something guns have but cannons don't.

+1if you want REALISTIC weapons, make a 7.62mm gun part. then, try it with the cannon.
It is SIGNIFICANTLY EASIER with the CANNON, as its values have a conversion rate (In the designer it rounds to the nearest mm of what your value is).
