It was a recruitment event. Be very mindful of these and don't fall for them.
Imo it's unethical for recruiters to go to schools, because highschoolers are very VERY gullible, and recruiters will say what ever they can to get you to join. They can lie if they have too.
@overlord5453 Why? considering I've been here since the start and that was 10 years ago and i was right out of highschool? You should go see the Realflight forums. their all old and retired. and what about the Devs?
@YarisSedan Two ways.
1, they spoof your account with a 2nd one that they can access, but makes the site thinks is yours, similar too phone number spoofing. Have you ever got a spam call from a number that's one digit off from a family member? well it's like that. they can even spoof the number completely so that you get a call from your mom on your end, but it's actually a spam caller. Happened to me once actually. Well websites work just like that, so what's to stop them?
2. They shoot you a simple virus on either your phone or computer that sets up a time bomb post that uploads to the site the moment you log in. it would have posted to whatever social media you accessed on your browser. Androids are notorious for this because it's such a simple program it evades security scans.
If you're on iphone, this couldn't happen though.
when i was in highschool and had an android i had to be careful not to access anything through a browser.
@YarisSedan I have a feeling this was done outside of your account. I don't think a password change will help... I think they can do this without even logging in.
the cockpit camera is a tad too far forward. Roll's a little snappy on the meta when using the virtual stick instead of the controller, but there's not a whole lot to do about that other than decrease the rates on the ailerons... I run into the same issue with all my builds that use a side stick instead of a tiller
the B-54 was a testbed for a new kinda engine with this really obscure theory that if you slapped a turbo onto every pistons exhaust, putting them in line with each other and running the inducted air into a compressor instead of the intake to the piston engine, you could create a turbine basically being turned by a piston engine.
This thrust, however was less than what was coming off the 4300 hp propeller engine, rendering it inert, and it drank gas like crazy. additionally, cooling this new engine was a Total Fn Nightmare. and a month later, the turboshaft engine was born.
@YarisSedan some player (or group) out of West Taiwan was running a script that could look at the image of a plane and build it in Simpleplanes. I don't know if it used actual photos or 3-view drawings. A forerunner to AI really. The community dealt with them.
missile and rocket powered jets haven't worked since the hollow fuselages and cockpit parts were introduced. this is probably because of a physics change. JATO's were also broken sadly.
@overlord5453 have you tried putting beacon inside a clear fuselage? I've done it and it works. Remember all a beacon is is an led. It kinda needs the rest of the light to work.
@tilinazo47 no. But you can look at the stock pigpen and copy it's Funky codes. I suggest getting a pad and paper and writing the code down because when I tried to copy it bugs happened
Sadly, he's not a bot. He's either a troll using an alt account, or a new guy being a little bitch.
I told him to kick rocks and blocked him. I'd love to know what his main account is but I'm fairly suspicious of who he is bassed on his "rating" of other's builds
@KisherSmord after reading this entire thread, going back to your comment history and reading what you've been commenting on others posts, I got two pieces of advice, assuming this isn't an alt account maid for the express purpose of starting drama.
1, delete your account. The minimum age for the sight is 13, but given your maturity, you should wait until you're more like 18.
2, when you do come back, stick to building things and shut the hell up until you're maybe silver or gold.
@KisherSmord ok so based on your logic and applying equity to the equation, NO fictional warplane should have ANY Countries roundel on it AT ALL. Correct?
Always a fan of hotwheels. I see you're just getting started, and buildingon ios. You shouldswitch to pc asap. But in the meantime, Here are a few tips.
When building with a physical reference, such as a model, find a way to measure it to make it look how you want. I used to use maseto tailwinds. I would use a ruler to measure the cockpit, and then build the rest of the plane to that scale.
Don't worry about detailed cockpits. Stick to basic cockpits, and always us two to make a canopy.
You can make them look even better by making whatever fuselage piece they're attached two one click lower on the height, attaching them, then going back up a click.

@overlord5453 30 in 2 months.
@YarisSedan yeah i thought you have an iPhone because the screen shot looks identical to my wifes iPhone lol

@overlord5453 the Meta version of SPVR does that
+1@YarisSedan I have a feeling this was done outside of your account. I don't think a password change will help... I think they can do this without even logging in.
@overlord5453 to be fair i also spawned in too far forward fsr

+1@Graingy Yeah and this was in 2018. LONG before any chatbot or whatever that imagebot is called.
+1No and here's why.

we could never recreate that in Simpleplanes.

+2It's already been used in our community. It didn't go over well.
@SPsidearm It has one but i do need to revisit it.

@BaconEggs Damn

Do you think you can make a mod that makes the Krakabloa convoy spawn 100% of the time?
+1I'll take a look tonight. I have a meta quest 2
+1@overlord5453 hey hey hey make your own Christmas list lol
+1It was just released for the meta quest 2 and 3 so it's not too far fetched that it may make it to PSVR2.
+1It happens
+1@ComradeSandman Ugh. the blight of the age.
@tilinazo47 no. But you can look at the stock pigpen and copy it's Funky codes. I suggest getting a pad and paper and writing the code down because when I tried to copy it bugs happened
+1Update them
@Dragoranos right?
+1There's one on the pigpen but be ready to do alot of copy and paste
+1What game is that?
+1What's a coin car?
+1You should keep working on this. It has potential.

+3@ComradeSandman hey howabout you start building planes?
@YarisSedan yep. and THAT's why I support trans rights.
@YarisSedan Ryan FR Fireball
@YarisSedan look up the Ryan Fireball
Wow sorry to here that. yeah if i could go back in time i'd do things differently. I wish i was there more for my grandma.
+1Will you be doing the cargo plane that comes with this one?

@rorrE we used to use Google sketch up before it became a VERY expensive paid subscription
+1Definitely building above his level.
+3It's panel was probably taken from either an F-16 or T-38. It was a very small jet.
Pretty sure I've pissed off the entire community a couple of times due to my bluntness.
